Absolutely love our new patio and retaining wall. We also had the team clean up under our deck and add river stone. Everything was done impeccably. The team was very kind and hardworking. They worked through rain and colder temps and worked from 730am-6pm. Bernie came out to provide the quote and gave me great advice and was always available to call/text for any questions or concerns between the first call and until the work was completed. He also helped us coordinate with the landscapers who could help us with our irrigation system since it needed to be put back following the patio installation. It was a pleasure to work with with them. They were recommended to us by friends and I would definitely recommend/hire them again.

Bernie Macauley's Project team were professional, competent and on budget ( as promised) with an excellent walkway. I would recommend them for landscaping projects.

had alot of old debris and fencing to be removed in order to install 226' of new 6' vinyl panel fencing. all work was done in time projected by very experienced crew. Working with Bernie Macauley (landscaping) and Marc Sully (fencing) was a pleasure. And coordinating the work scheduling with Nolisha in the office made everything go smoothly. Our experience with Bernie and his crew over the last several years has been exceptional. The crew is always professional, friendly and punctual. Bernie has a great eye for landscape design and knows which plants will do well with the lighting and soil conditions. He is always available to answer any questions that arise. We are so pleased with all of the work Macauley Brothers have done for us!

From start to finish it was an amazing experience with Macauley Brothers. It did take some time to get the work started ( based on availability ), but that is a good sign, as they were busy. Bernie Macauley, came and did estimate and was very professional and FRIENDLY ... He explained everything in detail, and when we got written estimate there were no surprises. The crew Macauley had working out job, were outstanding. They took good care of place and existing plants. They completed job way faster than we expected. We opted to use them for landscaping, and Bernie came with us to the Garden center and help us choose plants that look good, cost effective, and would also be easy to care ( we are not very green thumb ). They installed new plants, and moved some plants to new location for us. Afterwards, they put loam and reseeded the grass that was destroyed as part of the process. We are so happy with Macauley Brother, super highly recommended.

They even come for special requests for events etc to make sure our yard looks great for the occasion, I am so glad we inherited them as a company to take care of our home!

We were very happy with the results of our landscaping project done by Macauley Brothers. The new paver walkway looks fantastic. The front lawn was graded and and seeded and new grass started to appear just 4 days after it was sown. Grading was a challenge due to the roots of a large silver maple on one side but the crew was able to tackle it. The planting of the 8 ft arborvitaes required the removal of a few new sections of fence. The trees look great and the fence was put back up without a problem. Bernie Macauley was so easy to deal with from the initial estimate through completion. His crew was AWESOME too: polite, hard working and asked questions during installation to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted. The office staff communicated well too, keeping us appraised of start dates and working hard to source the exact Techno Bloc material that we wanted. Not an easy feat during the production issues and high demand caused by the pandemic. I highly recommend Macauley Brothers. Book early as this good landscaper's dance cards fill up early.

We've used Macauley Bros for ~7 years now, and they are hands down the best contractor of any kind we work with. Most recently, we asked Bernie to advise us on removing some older yew bushes and replacing all of the plantings in our front yard. Not only did he do the removals quickly and without any issues, but he advised on some beautiful new plants, shrubs, and trees that his team installed perfectly. We love how it turned out! (& so do our neighbors!) Bernie also went the extra mile by clearing a stuffed gutter that was giving us some drainage problems, and installed beautiful reservoirs at the bottom of our downspouts, to further help us when big storms hit. Bernie's crew is always professional, efficient, and extremely hardworking. We experimented with another crew a couple of years ago, and it wasn't even close -- they were nowhere near as talented or detail-oriented as Macauley Bros. If you go with Macauley Bros, you won't regret it.
