Arrived on time, did the job, seemed very professional. We later learned ( after having trouble with leaks ) that the gutters were not sealed correctly.

We had an inkling that our recently purchased home would need to have the gutters cleaned out sooner rather than later. That was confirmed when we found water leaking into the house during yesterday's storm! Joe was very accommodating and able to get a crew out the next day - talk about service. They found completely full gutters and blocked downspouts but removed it all in between today's showers. I couldn't be more pleased, he really helped us out.

They were great, showed up on time, worked hard and did a stellar job. Identified a few problem areas, put new gutters in places where there weren't any before, and discovered a roofing problem which they promptly fixed. Highly recommended.

Excellent. They gave me a rough quote on the phone for the gutter and actually lowered the price after doing the work! Unheard of but classy and says a lot about the type of operation. Easy to work with and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Replacement of the flat rubber roof took about 1.5 days, with the delivery of materials and removal of the old roof on a separate day from the installment of the new insulation and rubber membrane. The installation went smoothly with Joe's team professional and respectful of our neighbors. Joe provided video and photo updates regularly so I could share with the other condo owners to keep them apprised of the work. Since they will continue to be servicing our gutters, it will be helpful for them to monitor the roof during that time to ensure the quality is maintained. Highly recommend to those interested in contracting with them.

Very good. The two people who came out noticed that the downspout was split and offered to replace and paint it, which they did on the spot. They came the next day to install gutter guards, after I explained that we get water pouring over the corners of the gutters.

They came and did it, and asked me to pay the same amount as the prior year. While they had to reschedule a few times due to extreme cold, they called to let me know. Because they had been at my house before they didn't require that we were there.

Responsive and very helpful. He was here within 30 minutes of calling and had all the issues evaluated and diagnosed within the next 20 minutes. He helped identify the issue of an air conditioner draining into the window well causing the deiling leak, which was quickly addressed by myself after he left. Diagnosed clogged gutter downspouts causing some larger problems and spotted some missing slates that need replacing. He climbed out on the roof and fixed one of the downspout clogs. All done with no charge. I will definitely call Joe back in the fall to resolve all of the outstanding issues and ensure a problem free winter this season.

What we had hoped to be an easy repair turned out to be a bit more tricky. The trouble with wooden gutters (house is 102 years old) is that you can never be sure when there might be rot. I had noticed a large leak at a corner joint. Joe and his crew came out the day after I called and went up to take a look. Since he and his crew had done a big job for us earlier this year, we were hoping to avoid a big bill. His crew came out to do a quick fix on the joint a few days later and everything would be fine. Not lucky enough. Because of wood rot at the joint and further along the gutter, it was better to replace the entire 32 foot run of wooden gutter. Joe's new price quote was fair for the bigger job, so we swallowed hard and spent the money. Sometimes it hurts to take care of old houses. The crew's work was, once again, meticulous. They were careful around the plants, protected the other parts of the house while working, and painted the new gutter and fascia to match the rest of the house. The clean up was careful and they left our house and yard in great shape. Once again, highly recommended.

I highly recommend Hennelly & Son. I have hired them twice, and I will be sure to hire them for all my future roofing needs. The first time I hired them, I had newly moved into a house after the winter of 2014-2015. I was concerned about what appeared to be a stain from a roof leak, and other roofers I called did not look seriously at the concerning areas but instead just said I should get an entirely new roof, even though the existing roof was only about 7 years old. Then I found Hennelly & Son. They understood my concerns and squeezed me into their busy schedule. It turned out that there was not a major problem, but some sealing around chimney pipes that needed to be done. They took care of it quickly for a very reasonable cost, and they were courteous and professional throughout. It was an incredibly helpful and positive experience. Two years later, I saw some shingles detaching from a different part of my roof. I called Hennelly & Son again, and again they fit me in quickly. They repaired the damage the same day they came to inspect it, and they charged a very reasonable fee again. It is a pleasure to deal with Joe, and I recommend him most highly to anyone who needs honest, professional and reliable roof work done!

Joe and his crew came over to spec the job, but during their inspection, they found a problems with my rubber roof at the back of the house. Joe contacted me immediately and sent pictures of the problem. There was water damage to the flat roof over the room we added onto the back of our house in 1994. It seems that the roof had been flashed and covered improperly, resulting in water damage that amazingly never found its way inside the room. However, it turned out that the water had destroyed the plywood roof deck and several of the joists that support the roof. I was sent pictures of the damage to keep me informed and Joe kept me apprised of everything that was going on. I left work early to see what was going on and Joe showed me the situation and explained what needed to be done. Obviously this was not what any of us had expected to happen. Joe had his team of four workers and himself on site for an entire day as they repaired the damage and put on a new rubber roof. I could see the difference in roofing technique immediately. Joe's method protected the roof and edge of the roof completely. It ended up being a different job and a lot more money than we expected, of course. However, I am completely satisfied that everything that was done was proper and well-executed. Oh, yes, Joe's team also checked the gutters and made a minor repair to their previous work. He informed me that very little work was needed, and adjusted the price accordingly.

Great! I called a two trucks of guys arrived 15 minutes later. They got on the roof and got out their tools immediately to do the job.

Joe was prompt to return my phone call. In addition, he talked with me in a way so that I understood what needed to be done, and did not try to sell me on products or services we didn't need. He was very honest, very responsive, extremely nice and very punctual. The day the work was done, a crew of about 15 showed up, on time and did not stop until the roof was done. It took them one day! Very impressed and happy with the work they did. All prep work (dumpster, crane, etc.) was onsite the day before so that they could start immediately. During the process he would text me photos and video of the work being done, which was great since I'm not ever going on the roof to check it out! I highly recommend Joe Hennelly & Son and we will be hiring them in the future to replace our gutters and lower roof.
