It went very well. Joe showed up when he said he would. He did some tests regarding the downspouts, reattached the siding that had fallen off of the house several months ago and cleaned out all of the gutters. He was finished in less than 2 hours. His phone messages says he will definitely call you back....and he always does...... I found him professional, friendly, calm and a pleasure to work with.

Joe called 5 minutes before his committed arrival time. He told us that the gutters would be delivered and put in the backyard and that he would return the next day to install. The next day he called prior to arrival, and he competed the job He took care in not trashing the plantings beneath where he was working. He gave us a free gutter cleaning for the rest of the gutters on the house as part of his services. He was a great supplier and I would not hesitate to use him for something else.

We are in the process of moving out of state and having the gutters cleaned was one of many things requested by our home's new owners. Because we are moving next week, I needed to find someone who could do the job quickly, and after checking Angie's List, I found Hennelly & Sons. Joe Hennelly didn't disappoint. I called him at 9 a.m. and even though he was in another town, he said he would come by today and clean the gutters. Within an hour he was at my door, and an hour later he and his assistant had completed the job. It's a shame more businesses didn't operate so efficiently! From start to finish, Joe Hennelly was friendly, professional, affordable -- and fast! I highly recommend his services.

Based on Excellent reviews here, I called Joe to inquire as to whether he could take a look at the gutters on my home which were leaking badly and causing water leakage into my basement. He promised to return my call the next day and, true to his word, he called and came the same day. Joe and Billy repaired/reattached loose gutters and cleaned and sealed all gutters on two levels of my home. After completion of the job, Joe sprayed water on the roof to show me that the gutters were sealed. In addition, Joe spotted flashing around my chimney that needed repair --- something that my house inspector could not determine since there was ice and snow on the roof when my home was inspected. Joe took photos so he could show me where the problem was. I will have him back before the snow flies to repair the chimney flashing. I would definitely recommend Hennelly & Son - they are fair, honest and do a thorough job. It hasn't rained yet (the job was only done this morning), but I think it's important to say that if any leakage occurs, I can feel comfortable calling Joe and confident that he'd return to remedy any problem.

Joe Hennelly and his assistant cleaned our gutters and assessed our roof condition. He was very friendly, efficient, and quick to help in any way - including re-hanging a slate caught in our gutter. He billed me what he quoted. I highly recommend Hennelly & Sons for gutter cleaning and when the time comes, we will certainly ask him to quote roof repair. Great service, price and professional!

Joe responded quickly, offered options for times when he could come by based on my availability, quickly assessed the issue, and resolved the problem quickly. He is very knowledgeable and knows his business. Would definitely call him in the future.

It went very well, they did a great job. My gutters were extremely clogged from debris. They cleaned them completely, also hosed down the roof and the gutters. He and his son did an excellent job. They nice and capable.

We hired Hennelly & Son to clean out the gutters. They took care of that process in an efficient manner. I was pleased with the outcome. They were responsive and friendly. They came on a really hot Saturday and took care of the work. There was a miscommunication about the start time, but they were very apologetic and it worked out fine. We were pleased with their work.

The job has not started yet; however so far, this contractor showed up for the estimate without any problems and has answered my questions.

The workers were friendly and professional. We'll know when the next big rain comes if the cleaning and adjustments solved the leaking problems.

After I left a message, Joe returned my call quickly. He gave me a price of $120 and scheduled the work for three weeks later. He apologized that it couldn't be sooner, because he was so busy. That was fine with us since it was not an emergency. On the day of work he called in advance to give an estimate of arrival time and was punctual. He was polite, gave me his card and introduced his associate. They set to work and quickly did the job. They completely cleaned up all debris that had fallen on the deck and yard, and took away all trash. That was a nice surprise - my past gutter cleaners always left behind full trash bags. Another plus was he lowered the price to $100, saying that it was an easier type of job. He didn't push to do repairs, saying there was more time left in the state of the existing trim. I felt he was a very genuine, trustworthy fellow. I'm sure I will be calling on him in the future and highly recommend the company.

I called Hennelly & Son after seeing their contact information on Angie's list. I needed to have a gutter repaired or replaced after the gutter fell off of the side of my house during a snow storm. I was told that the gutter could be repaired rather than replaced and that only some new pieces would be needed. A convenient time was set up and the repair took place just as communicated. Hennelly & Son came across as providing a true evaluation of the work needed and charged a reasonable price for the work needed. I would consider Hennelly & Son for future gutter work.

The whole visit was outstanding. He absolutely knew his stuff. He looked at one of my gutters and immediately knew what was wrong & fixed it. I haven't had any trouble with it since. He is a very knowledgeable guy. The customer service was wonderful. I will be using him again in the future.

Same-day response for gutter cleaning and minor repairs. Showed up and started working immediately. Finished cleaning gutters on our two-story house in about an hour.

They showed up on the day scheduled, completed the job without a hitch, and left the property in tip-top shape.

We had started to get some water in our basement after 4 days straight of rain. We had never had an issue with water in the past, but I noticed there was a large stream of water coming from the gutters that appeared to be the cause. Due to the excessive rainfall that week, Joe had received a ton of calls but guaranteed that he would get out to our house as soon as he could. He actually came at 6:30AM to fit us in as there was more rain in the forecast and he wanted to make sure that we were set. He identified the issue immediately and it was fixed in just under 2 hours. Joe was a lifesaver and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again!

It took a bunch of calls to set up the appointment, my fault as much as Joe's. But in all it was only a couple of days before he'd arranged to come over. Joe's men came first and started the gutter cleaning. They were pleasant and got right to work. They asked for a check up front and I wrote it out for $150 without asking whether it was $125. (I remembered afterward that Joe said it would be $125-$150. I should've asked them which it would be instead of simply asking "$150 right?") They did leave some stuff in my side yard, but I'm sure if I'd reminded them it was there they would have picked it up right away. They did knock over a garden light but I said to not worry about it. Still Joe said he'd cover the cost if we ask. I was glad that Joe arrived because he patched a leaky part in the gutter and also diagnosed a bigger problem with our porch. We plan to get an estimate from him on fixing it. We also plan to arrange our annual gutter cleanings with them because overall they were great: prompt, polite, and effective.

Joe was very responsive when coming up to do an estimate (came out day after I called). In addition, the estimate for the work was about 30% better than another quote I had received and Joe had stellar reviews on Angie's List. A third contractor I had contacted did not even want to come out for an estimate. Due to weather, we had to delay the start of the project which lasted 2 half days. It was originally supposed to be 1 long day but they had to cut it short on day 1 and finish on day 2 which was not a problem for me. Joe was great pro-actively communicating too both about scheduling and when he would deposit my checks. I was very pleased with the results and all debris/trash/etc from the job was cleaned up. When I got home from work on day 2, you would never have known he was there. Highly recommend.

Joe has done work for us last fall, cleaned our gutters. We will be calling him again in the fall to clean the gutters. He is now officially our family's gutter professional.

They showed up when they said they would be here, did the job in a few hours, cleaned up, and removed the old gutters. We had problems with the old gutters-water from the roof was over-shoooting them and we were getting water leaking into our basement. Since they replaced them, we have had no problems and are very happy with the job they provided.

I can't say enough good things about Joe Hennelly. He was prompt and professional on the phone, arrived on time, gave me a bid that was very reasonable and fixed the problem in a timely manner. More than this, he fixed a few other small collateral things while he was up on the roof (for free) and guaranteed his work, saying he'd come back for free if we ever had a problem. Excellent work and excellent service. And the price was very reasonable and fair. I wish all businesses were like this. I scoured Angie's List for a good roofer and Joe is the best!!!

Fast and excellent service. Called Joe on a Wednesday and the gutters and downspouts were cleaned the following day. They also reattached/reinforced gutters that weren't attached securely to the house and replaced a section of a downspout at no additional charge. Will definitely use them again. Recommended.

Joe was great. He was very responsive and understands how distressing it is when you have water leaking into your house. I called him in a bit of a panic when water started leaking into the window frame. It turned out our gutters were blocked causing water to run down the side of the brownstone. Joe came out first thing the next morning took care of the problem and even corrected an issue with the existing gutter. He was also very patient when one of the neighbors was not available to give him access to the first floor gutters. Considering I was a new customer calling in a panic, I was impressed that Joe provided service as if I'd been a loyal customer for years.

Excellent. When I called for estimates, Joe was the first to call back and the first to deliver a written estimate. He set a start date for the work and the work began on that day and was finished the next (1 day in between because of heavy rain). The job looks great and the property was left perfect-no mess, debris, or damaged plants. Joe was great about returning calls and keeping me informed about changes to the work schedule due to the rain. A total pro. Absolutely recommend.
