Joe called early morning on the day of our appt to see if we could move our appt up. It was no problem with my calendar - and actually preferred on my part. He was at our door less than 30 minutes later. Joe was prepared for hard-to-access gutters (from the roof, etc). Good news is that ours are fairly easy to get at through windows on the top floor of the building. Joe cleaned both of debris, performed some minor roof repair where one attaches to the building, and recommended that we keep watch on one section of a gutter which seems to be heavily rusted and potentially perforated. We look forward to having him back next year to do the same work.

After receiving an estimate for the work to be done we agreed on a date to have my gutters replaced on the back of my house. Joe arrived in the morning, as he said he would. They replaced the gutters along the back of my house and along the back porch. He also repaired some minor damage to the chimney and the stove exhaust pipe.The work was done in a couple of hours. When the work was finished, all the old gutters and fascia boards were hauled away and the yard and back porch were swept down and cleaned. Everything went well. !!!!

I am extremely pleased with the work that was done to replace our old gutters. Because this was originally a call for seasonal maintenance on our wooden gutters, we were particularly happy that Mr. Hennelly worked hard to fit us into his already busy Fall schedule when it turned out that the gutters needed replacement, not maintenance. As he was up on the roof inspecting the first time, Mr. Hennelly saw problems that had been caused by previous "maintenance." This, of course, was not known to us at that time. He took photos and brought them down to us to explain what was going on up there, why we needed more than a clean-out and oiling. We appreciated how clearly he explained everything. Because this was all unexpected by us, he was very helpful in reassuring us that the work could be done before winter; he promised to fit it in, and he kept that promise. I have withheld the cost of this job at the request of Mr. Hennelly, but I want to be clear that I feel it was a fair price for the job. Everything was clearly explained, and we feel that the work done was worth the cost. Our house is 70+ years old and has interesting architectural details which make this kind of job a bit tricky. Mr. Hennelly worked steadily and quickly, but took great care to leave no trace of his having been here--other than the new gutters. He also fixed several small things he found as he went along without extra charge--things he could only see once he started taking down the wooden gutters. Both Mr. Hennelly and his helper were polite and easy to deal with. If I had any questions, they were good about taking time to explain whatever I needed to know. Communication with Mr. Hennelly was excellent. He returned phone messages promptly. When we needed to make schedule changes, he followed up on all his commitments. He always called if/when he was delayed. It was terrific to deal with someone who was so honest and responsible. I plan to have his company back as our seasonal gutter cleaning service--just wish I had found him 4 or 5 years ago!

We contacted Joe about our problem. He responded promptly. He then inspected the problem areas and promised to fix it in a few days. He kept his promise and replaced the entire soffit vent professionally. He also cleaned the gutters as requested. Joe was a gentleman, he told us it took less time to clean the gutters than required. He reduced the original price because it was less than needed to be done. We are very grateful.

They came when it was scheduled [2 weeks after i called] and Joe did all the work we told him to do. I plan to have him next Spring to come around and give me some suggestion and eventually do some work in trying to reroute all the downspout on the north side, so that they will eventually drain on the south side.

Our house was long overdue for gutter cleaning. Overflow from one clogged gutter often leaked into the basement from a rear bulkhead. After a second clogged gutter directed rain through a poorly sealed exterior window into our living room, I knew it was time. I found Joe on Angie's List and first called in September. He is much in demand and so bookings are a few weeks out. As his voicemail indicates, he "100% definitely" gets back to you (sometimes in minutes) to follow up. In addition to clearing out the leaves, pine needles, etc. I explained that we needed to fully and totally seal the living room window. Joe applied the lifetime guaranteed weather seal as well as a couple screws he found were missing in the window frame itself. Then there was the bonus: on our roof, Joe noticed the downspout ventilating our bathroom had a totally degraded plate and seal. My wife and I had wondered about phantom water damage showing up all over the closet adjoining the bathroom for over a year, poking around in our attic to no avail. With our go-ahead, Joe got the necessary materials right after finishing the other work and had the downspout fully repaired in another couple hours. We should now (finally) be living in a waterproof house. Major stress and anxiety out of our lives. I'm looking forward to the next severe rainstorm.

Joe is a pleasure to work with very respectful of my time, budget, and our associations restrictions. He was not the only company to quote the job but he was the most upfront, responsive and reasonably priced of 3 local roofing companies. Joe even checked in a few weeks after the work was done to make sure there were no concerens. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or call them for future work on a big or small job.

He answered my calls promptly, showed up when scheduled for an estimate and installed the system when he said he would. It looks good, is caulked at all seams and appears to be properly pitched. You really can't ask for anything more!

Prompt, friendly, professional. No aggressive up-selling or fear mongering about other issues (we are aware of other work that needs to be done). Quoted a time frame of 8-noon, they arrived promptly at 830. Will definitely call them again for future work.

Entire process--from inspection and proposal,through cleaning--went smoothly . Work was performed on time, efficiently, and with professionalism. Joe was a pleasure to work with.

Joe showed me everything he found step by step. He was organized and methodical about his work. He took special care to install the garage gutter so it would drain downwards and into the downspout. He took pictures of the front porch roof and sent them to me so I could see what was going on.

Joe was very responsive to my calls and scheduled a time to come and clean my gutters. I have previously had them cleaned for the past few years by a different individual but they only cleaned the gutters leaving the downspout connections clogged. I have had an ongoing problem with water pouring from the second story right over the gutters and damaging gardens and my home but Joe solved the problem. He even decided to charge me less since they were not as bad as he thought but I wanted to pay what we agreed on since I thought that was very fair.

This was our first time using Hennelly & Son Roofing & Gutters. We called the number listed in Angie?s List and left a message asking to clean the gutters on our home. Joe called us back in an hour, provided an estimate for an average sized home and scheduled an appointment. His team called approximately 20 before they arrived at our home for our appointment. The gutters were cleaned in 30 minutes. Joe charged us for the estimated cost even though he had to make some additional repairs. The work he did for us was excellent! We will definitely be calling him again next year.

Joe arrived on time and completed the job while we were at work. He was very professional, and the price was reasonable. The gutters and downspouts are flowing well even after a year, so I guess he did a good job. The soffet repairs were more functional than aesthetically pleasing because he did not have the correct panels on hand, but we were more concerned with getting the holes patched than anything else anyway. Overall we were pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone for gutter/downspout work.

Joe was great. He cleaned the gutters around the condo and even charged less than his original estimate because there was not much to remove from the gutters and it took less time than expected. He also looked at the roof while he was here to see if any shingles were missing and did not find any missing or any issues with the roof. I highly recommend Joe for gutter cleaning.

I contacted the company to take a look at the gutters primarily because I was getting some water in one corner of my basement. I was concerned that there was a leak in the downspout. The team cleaned the gutters and found that the connections between the downspouts and gutters were loose/missing . They attached these and since then, I have had no problems in my basement. The crew also mentioned that water was accumulating in the center of the gutter that ran across the front of the garage and that it needed to be repitched. They said they couldn't fix it that day but would come back out after I talked to Joe Hennelly. I called Joe and he arranged to have the gutter repitched shortly after the first visit. There was no further charge for the followup work. The repitching of the gutter has improved drainage at the base of the driveway next to the garage. I payed $120 for the work (Dutch colonial) and would definitely use this company again.

Initially I called and was directed to voicemail where I learned that his mailbox was full. And I thought that was that. I received a call back from him within 1-2 hours. He was nice and courteous and said that Framingham is out of his service area and that he wouldn't be available anytime soon due to gutter cleaning season in the fall. I appreciate his frankness.
