They turned up on time, quoted a fair price and did the job on the spot, and pointed out a few problems with the roof that I would not have known about unless I climbed 25ft up there myself, which I'm not inclined to do. I'd hire this company again, they seemed very safety conscious which was reassuring, two workers operating one ladder with both paying attention to what they were doing and not rushing things.

Went well, Joe was very honest and told me the gutters were not as dirty as expected and took $$ off.

Based on Angie's List info I had hired Joe to clean the gutters at my son's home in Jamaica Plain. They did such a good job at a very reasonable price that I contacted them about cleaning the gutters in my own home.I knew that at least one of my gutters was completely clogged. Joe is very pleasant to deal with and the team came on the day we agreed upon. Work was done quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up all the debris. I would definitely hire them again.

I am an extremely satisfied customer. After calling several contractors from Angie's List who came to the house, but would not furnish a written fee estimate to repair water leaks, I finally called Joe Hennelly who responded quickly and readily furnished his written fee estimate. His price was also the lowest fee estimate that I received . In fact his price was less than half of another Angie's list contractor that I had been seriously considering. Mr Hennelly determined correctly that the source of the leak was not the roof, as I had presumed. He methodically repaired the visible problems along the gutter and downdrain, and was able to locate a huge crack and a few lesser cracks in the exterior brick masonry near a couple of the third floor windows. Once he had repaired these cracks, he made several follow up visits following heavy rains to make sure the water intrusion problem had been corrected. As I was living out of state at the time, Joe was diligent in calling and sending photos of his work to keep me posted. One other interesting point that I liked about Joe. Although I paid a third in advance, as is fairly typical for Massachusetts, he would not take any other payments - even after he had completed the repairs - until he was sure that his work had been effective in stopping the water leaks into the house - which I appreciated. He's an honest person who takes pride in doing a good job.

Joe was on time, did a great job, and focused on keeping my cost down. He also drew my attention to some non-gutter related drainage issues he suggested I have a plumber look at, which was very helpful. Great job!

As he stated he would do, Joe called to let me know he was on his way and showed up on time. Introduced himself and his co-worker then reviewed what needed to be done and started right to work. Had the equipment and ladders needed to get the job done. Repaired gutters where they were leaking. They cleaned up after themselves and in no time they were done. Fast and hard workers. Job well done!

Once we were able to coordinate our schedules He sealed the corners with no problems The leak he diagnosed as being caused by the gap around my outside vent not the gutters which I had originally thought. He caulked all around the vent which reduced the amount of rain leaking in tremendously with the last rain storm. It hasn't rained since but he did call to ask about the leak and told me if it is stilling leaking to call him back.

Very professional, prompt and explained everything (in detail) as to what needed to be done at the initial meetings. On the day of the service, Joe walked the house with me to ensure he got to all our problem areas. Even brought me back out to show me why we had the problems and how he would correct it. Cleaned up the area so it was pristine.

Went very well, Joe gave estimate over the phone and we scheduled service a few days out. They called the morning they were planned to arrive and everything went smoothly. Very professional and would use their services again.

It went well. The gutters appeared clean from where I could see them. We have a three story home and I don't have ladder enough to get up to the top gutters. It rained two days after they did the cleaning and everything seemed to be going down fine, whereas prior to the cleaning it would overflow at certain clogged points. Pretty strong evidence of a good cleaning. Joe was courteous and they called about 10 minutes ahead of their prescribed arrival. The best part is that it cost less than Joe Sr. estimated it might cost over the phone. Basically the way they do it is they have a price based on an average home size, and if yours is bigger they say they will need to estimate it before they start work, but that typically they can hammer out a deal and that they come prepared to do the job. No estimate first, then come back days later. So be prepared to get the price and have it done at the same time. Joe Sr. is in this for the long haul and wants the repeat business. He has got mine as long as I live in the area.

Hennelly and Sons is a First Class Operation. Joe really knows his business. I had used him initially to repair a leak in my roof. He got the problem spot on and repaired it. No further issue. I knew then that Joe knew his stuff. Honest and Dependable and a really nice guy who goes all the way to identify problems and offer solutions. Joe replaced my front gutter and also installed a section of new siding under my front porch and re-positioned a lighting fixture at the same time. It really came out well! I would call Joe in a heartbeat. I trust him and that goes a long way with me. Honest and knowledgeable. Neat and Professional. A+.

Owner supervised, fantastic operation. Joe Hennelly is wonderful to work with and a consummate professional. On time, easy to schedule, and a great job for a fair price. We have tried for years to find someone in this field who would do a good job, and we finally have with Joe Hennelly!

It was a great experience. I could not have asked for more. The service was excellent. Joe was nice and they did an amazing job.

I was looking for someone to clean my gutters very late fall. Joe answered my call, the number given on Angie's list, the first time I called. It was late in the year and he was very booked up. He told me that he could squeeze mw in in 2 weeks. Since I didn't have other options I said "yes please". He came when he told me he would. He called prior to coming and after the work was completed to explain what he did see if I was satisfied. He cleaned up after himself. I was very satisfied. We called him another time this past winter because there was a ton of snow on our roof and we were concerned about ice dams. He came and looked at the job and gave us his opinion that it wasn't necessary for us to do anything at that time, and said he'd come back another time if we needed. I appreciated his honesty. I would defiantly recommend him.

Joe was professional and prompt. I was unsure if I needed new gutters or if he could repair what we had. He took a picture from the roof with his cellphone to show me the issue. He stated he could repair the gutter as there was not a need to replace unless I did not like the look. I also asked him to assess my roof and he put a temporary patch where a shingle was missing. He repaired and cleaned out my gutters. He gave me a quote and said he could fix them immediately. He was a nice man who did not take advantage and explained the issues with the gutters. I would use him again and I have given his name to my family to have their gutters cleaned which they intend to call him to get an estimate as well.

Joe was very responsive, answered my call on the first try. He was in the area, so he performed an estimate, and then did the repairs all in a single day. It was pretty impressive.

Hennelly arrived right on time, inspected the roof carefully, found the place of the leak, and gave me an oral estimate. It was much lower than other estimates. He offered to fix the leak immediately. I accepted and he patched the leak. Was very friendly and professional.

I contacted Joe Hennelly through the Angie's list app on my iPad. He responded same day via Angie's list and called the next morning to let me know that his crew would be in my neck of the woods mid morning. We scheduled a cleaning and though I was not home, my wife said they showed up by 9 am ( we just spoke around 745am) and were off to work. Cleaned all he gutters and even fixed a downspout. My wife asked how much extra it would be and the guys said not to worry the part was only a couple cents. The did confirm some bad news that I had suspected for sometime now. One side of the gutters was sagging and the crew did nail it back down to try and tighten it up, but as I was worried about the fascia was rotting and it was just a matter of time before I have to replace it. Hennelly & son did not try to upsell me on anything, but they did do a fantastic job. I already know who I am going to contact for a gutter replacement in the near future. So Joe Hennelly look out for my call!

After reading many reviews on Angie's list we selected this contractor because we felt he had the knowledge, expertise, and extensive experience performing this specific type of work. That was certainly all true! He was very professional, responsive, and answered all our questions prior to contracting him to do the work. We were thrilled with the job he and his crew did! The finished look is beautiful and it truly made our home look young again! He was able to put us on the schedule right away and complete the whole job in two days and believe me they worked very hard to complete the work as promised. He was very respectful of our property and left everything neat and clean. We felt the price for the extensive work was fair. Mr. Hennelly, his son and crew proved to be a great choice for us and we would highly recommend this contractor to others. Great job! Thank you! I apologize for the delay in writing this review but we have been out straight planning and preparing for a beautiful garden bridal shower for our future daughter-in-law. The event was on May 17th and we couldn't be happier!

All in all, a minor repair and Joe did a great job at a reasonable price. Would recommend them in the future and reasonably priced.

Joe was responsive to my call for an appointment and scheduled me right away. He came when he said he would and did a great job. Due to a miscommunication on my part, there was a section of the house he missed. When I told him about it, he returned within a couple of weeks and finished the job without charging me more. I will definitely call him again.

I left a message for Joe yesterday. He called today and came by 15 minutes later, inspected the gutters, gave me a quote, and then he and an assistant did the work immediately. He also volunteered to clean two ceiling fans that are mounted high up in a screened porch, although these weren't discussed in the original quote. I can't say for sure how effective the job will be, as the sun is shining today, but based on his overall professionalism I have very high confidence that our gutter leakage problems are over.

Joe was great - he gave a price for the gutter cleaning on the phone (based on size of the house), then came by to see what other work needed to be done and gave us an estimate that seemed very fair. He and a co-worker came by and did all of the work, and seemed to do a really thorough job. They were on time, friendly, reliable and professional. We will hire them again for cleaning and for any future repair/replacement needs.
