The job went very well. Joe returned my call promptly, came out to give us an estimate, and then completed the work, all as promised. The workers were friendly and helpful. We were pleased!

Mr. Hennelly was prompt, courteous and picked up after himself. He removed my gutters in and installed new ones. He was easy to work with. I received 3 different quotes--and Mr. Hennelly was the most reasonable. The gutters look great but after the first rain storm they leaked in the "elbow" so he came back out the did some repair and all seem good. I would use them again.

The two person crew did a great job. Quote and job were both done the same day.

We had a lot of damage from the winter, and we needed a new roof and gutters. Checked from the list on here and decided to go with Joe Hennelly from Quincy. I emailed for an estimate and got a call right back to come check it same day, because he was in my area at the time. It took a couple of different appointments due to the rain to get started but he finished on the same day. Looks great , will use again for sure.

I had a tough time trying to find someone to come out and replace the flashing. Most roofers would only come out if we wanted a new roof. Joe returned my phone calls, was very professional and accommodating. He scheduled the appointment, showed up and completed the work in a timely fashion and cleaned up after they were done with the gutter cleaning. While replacing the flashing, he did find that there were birds getting in through the missing flashing, and boarded up those areas so they could no longer get access. He followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the work as well. I will definitely use them again for our Condo building.

It went very well. It was difficult to find an available gutter company (even to get in touch with one) after the first big rain of the season. Joe was the only one that returned our calls; he promised to come out within a week to take a look and give an estimate on the repairs. Two guys came out on time, gave a quick estimate on the spot. The price was quite reasonable, and they were happy to do the repairs right then...took about an hour and everything has been fine since.

Mr. Joe Hennelly was very responsive and got back to me right away everytime I called to discuss the issues. There were a few weather delays from high winds and rain which caused the job to be cancelled and rescheduled. House is a 2 family in Roslindale and all my dealings with Joe were via phone or email as I live in Worcester and house is owned by my elderly mother. Joe was very professional and explained everything to me. I would hire him again and hope to have him clean the gutters and downspouts on a regular basis as there are a lot of trees around the property.

Great service all around. Joe Hennelly was responsive and communicative. While they were quite busy when I called, he kept me posted on availability and turnaround time, and when a date was agreed upon, his crew was on time and thorough. They even made a complimentary follow-up visit to check one area that was still blocked, and reconnected another area at the same time. Highly recommended. We chose them for their competitive price, and would use them again because of their excellent service.

We weren't home when they came, but have had no problems. Assume everything went well.

The gutter above my 2nd floor kitchen sink had become badly clogged with the pollen strands from an overhanging oak tree, so that in a heavy rain, a steady stream of water came through the woodwork above the kitchen window. Having already had rain "falling in the kitchen" on three occasions, and unable to reach the man who usually cleans the gutters, I called Hennelly & Son. The owner was extremely responsive when I called on a Monday morning, described an urgent situation with more rain in the forecast, and asked if he might be able to clean the gutters in the next 24 hours or so. He said he needed to make a call, and within five minutes I heard back from his son that he could be over to the house within the half hour. When the son and his fellow worker arrived, I pointed out the problem gutter and noted that all the gutters needed to be cleaned. Since my regular gutter cleaner lifts out all the debris by hand, I was startled to discover that they were cleaning some of the debris by hand but also using a blower to clean out the gutters. I figured this was their way of cleaning gutters. What I did not figure on, however, was their leaving the debris blown from the gutters strewn across the yard, shrubs, plants and driveway. In fact, when the son came in the house for payment and told me they were done, I specifically asked if they had cleaned up, and he told me the other fellow was cleaning up. After they left with full payment, I went outside and found my property littered with large clumps of pollen, leaves and other debris they had blown from the gutters. It took close to an hour to gather and rake it all up.

Joe Hennelly did a great job, he responded the same day to my initial phone call regarding an estimate for the work to be done. The work was done on the day promised, everything was left in pristine condition. Joe was a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend this company.

Great! I've used the company several times since first finding on Angie's List. He and his men have done an excellent job every time, at a very fair price. He also does roof raking, again at a very fair price.

This company is incredible. Talk about the true meaning of customer service. Hat's off to a company that gets it. I had called this company out of desperation as I had another company that I contacted twice to do the work but did not bother to show up. My front yard in under a complete renovation and I needed a fast job done in which the new downspouts needed to be placed so they could match up to the new drain wells being built. This gutter project was going to stop the entire project until it got done. I decided to join Angie's list and find a company with great reviews. I chose Hennelly and Son because of their reviews. I called and spoke with Joe first thing in the morning. Within an hour I was directed to pick a the color needed on a website and by noon his team was out there. Problem solved a few hours later. I will most certainly use them in fall for the usual cleaning and additional repairs that might be needed. This company is a keeper.

In addition to completing the work in a timely and professional manner, I really value that Joe was efficient with his time and mine. I never needed to follow-up or chase him at any point in the process. Also, his attention to details (such as the cleaning of the gutters and the particulars of the job) were very much appreciated. Illustrated pride in the job to me. I would definitely use this company in the future. I had three (all positive) interactions with Joe at the company: 1. First Interaction/ Quote: I spoke with Joe on the phone about the scope of work (replace a downspout and remove the fallen downspout). He said he was in the neighborhood and would be able to send me a quote same day. He did so timely (that day) and included the scope of work and provided for a choice of materials to be used. In short, very responsive. I didn't need to track him down or call to follow-up. I asked him to send the quote in writing via email so that I could forward easily to the other Trustees. Joe did so in a timely fashion (within 24 hours). 2. Second Interaction/ Job granted and job scheduled: The condo association chose to go with this company because (1) the quote seemed it was priced correctly (not the highest and not the lowest), (2) the responsiveness of Joe and (3) based on the reviews on Angie's list. I communicated this to Joe via email and shortly thereafter we scheduled a time that worked for both of us to have the job completed (my recollection is we scheduled the job a little over a week out - I was out of town so unable to schedule the week prior). 3. Third Interaction/ Job completed: I received a call from Joe the day prior to the scheduled replacement. He and his crew were in the neighborhood and were able to start to complete the job a day early (insert my happy dance here). He called to explain some particulars of the job and sent along photos to illustrate the situation. With that resolved, the job was completed and I went over to inspect it. When I arrived, the site was cleaned up and the finish product looks great! In addition, they noticed that the gutter which the downspout was being attached to needed cleaning and did so.

While other companies were quick to tell me I needed to redo a section of my roof due to leaking, Joe was very honest and told me my problem actually was poor flashing. He fixed the problem for a fraction of the cost of re-roofing this part of my house would have cost. He was very professional and prompt.

This is the fourth time I have used Joe Hennelly's services. Did job as soon as requested. Very reliable and professional, always gets back to you never keeps you waiting. Extremely satisfied with his services every time I have used him. A pleasure to deal with!

I was not home at the time of the work, but my next door neighbor watched their work. This woman was married to a master craftsman, and knows good work. She told me that she was very impressed with the way the workers did their jobs, and the care they took. I examined the gutters that I could see, and the work looks fantastic. I have had my wooden gutters serviced by other companies in the past, and I have been satisfied, but never thrilled. This job certainly looks like a higher level of quality than I have seen before. I'm looking forward to the next rainstorm to see how the job holds up. I'll add to this review afterwards. However, I'm expecting nothing but good news. I'm a new fan of this company.

Joe and his assistant were great. Polite, professional, called when he was delayed, explained work to be done. Price was very reasonable. He went right to work and cleaned up after job was done. I'm temporarily disabled and have a large, friendly black lab. Joe's assistant (Assante) volunteered to walk the dog around the block!! I was entirely pleased and satisfied with the work and the people and would recommend Joe without reservation.

Joe did a great job. Roofers are hard to find after a brutal winter, yet Joe was able to make time to come out and look at the problem and fixed it on the spot!

I was very impressed from start to finish. Joe answered the phone on the first few rings. Within a few minutes of a callback he arranged to have a crew that was in the area to my house. The crew called shortly thereafter to let me know they were on their way and when to expect arrival time. They arrived exactly on time and resolved the problem within minutes. I also want to mention that the crew were very careful with the way they stepped and placed the ladder, which was very near garden areas. The space was tight to work in but I observed how carefully they maneuvered everything so as to not disturb the garden beds.

Mr Hennelly responded promptly to our call and sent a worker in the neighborhood over to write an estimate. We accepted the offer. Work was delayed for a few days due to burglary of Mr Henelly's truck but shortly after gutter was delivered to our back yard three workers showed up. They spent 3.5 hours putting up the new gutter and realigning the downspouts and corner pieces. Corner piece on other side of house had leaked for years despite previous efforts of local "gutter cleaners" to fix the problem. Hennelly said they would fix this as part of the job. They sealed the gutters. Seemed like excellent efficient work but time will be the test. So far, very impressed by the professionalism of this company.

Great. Second time using this company. Joe made a neat repair to one of my rafter tails and hung a new 28 foot gutter. Fair price, good communication, quick service. Would hire again.

Joe was courteous, well-organized, prompt and honest. I'd been told by a carpenter that my gutters were in trouble,that the siding was likely hiding significant wood rot in the soffit &/or fascia board. Joe climbed up, blew out debris accumulated over the winter, and examined them closely. He explained that unless he removed the siding he couldn't see everything, but from what he could see, everything was in good shape. The installation and slope were fine. While he was up on the ladder, he also checked on the condition of the roof, which is some 25 years old. He said the roofing material was in fine shape and would stay that way for at least another five years. His fee was quite reasonable, especially since he could easily have made more money by doing a repair that wasn't needed, or worse - a replacement that wasn't needed. A terrific experience w a competent and decent tradesman.

It went very well! They forgot one part of the gutter on the garage, but they came back out yesterday to complete the job. They told me it was an oversight. They even moved my swing out of my shed for me. It was exceptional! They also put a nozzle on my hose because I didn't have the strength to do it. It really meant a lot to me.
