They were excellent, on time thorough, perfects service.

Excellent. I had another company (with whom i had a pervious interaction with) in to do this work, they did not clean the furnace, produced a false reading, TURNED off my gas (on a friday) and then said i needed to buy a new furnace. Don from Fontaine's Heating was over at my place within 2 hours, did the actual cleaning, produced a true (and safe CO reading) all for a little less than half the price of the first guy. Fontaine's saved my day. Flexible and quick, honest and proficient in thier work, and reasonably priced AND was represented by one of the nicest guys you could ever meet (Thank You Don)

They did a great job, AC has never been better. The owner Dave is very responsive, gave us great advice on what the best solution was for our house and was there to follow-up whenever we had questions or a minor issue.

Other companies told us our water heater would have to be replaced as it was no good, even though it was not leaking. They quoted us anywhere between 2000.00 and 3000.00 dollars. I contacted Fontaine heating for a quote and described to him the problem. He said we might not need a new water heater and he would look at it to see if he could fix it. Two men came and stayed for almost three hours and fixed the problem. We didn't need a water heater after all. This company saved us almost 1000.00 and we have plenty of hot water now. Great company and very smart technicians. They are now our new go to company for heating problems!

Were very quick responding to my call and initial workman was very pleasant, knowledgeable and gently broke the news to us that the furnace was cracked. The furnace was only 15 years old and we did not expect to replace it so soon. Dave, the owner, spoke with me later in the day and we scheduled a date for the replacement. They arrived right on time and a crew of men quickly went to work. They all had a job and worked smoothly as a unit. The furnace was installed in one day. On the second day, they came and did some finish work and we've had heat through this cold spell. I was happy they answered all my questions and were patient showing me how the new furnace worked. I would highly recommend this company.

After the unit had been fired up, Joe explained the problem, and how they had resolved it, in language that a lay person can understand. In my recent experience with home repairs, I have not encountered a team more efficient, knowledgeable, effective, and courteous. They did the job quickly, professionally, and cleanly, working hard in the winter to keep our house immaculate. The communication was great as has the follow-up. We are thrilled with our new heating system, continuous hot water heater, and humidifier, AND they did it at a lower price than anyone else who gave us a quote.

This company is fantastic. We have used them in the past, and I highly recommend them. Each time they quickly diagnose and explain the problem, and their repairs are always a successful solution.

They were on time, and finished fast. I did have a problem with no heat, just before Thanksgiving, but it turned out to be with the gas company, not the furnace. Fontaine promptly responded to my telephone call, even when no one should be working.

They haven't done the work yet but so far it's been a good experience. They need to install in a timely fashion and there is no problem after that. He is doing his part, there is a little bit that I'm supposed to take care of and I am doing that. Hopefully the installation will be in a week or two. It's been very professional, it's been no issue yet, hopefully they will be done. He came when he said he would. He looked around, answered all my questions. The price was suitable.

Fontaine was responsive, professional and the price was fair and reasonable. I called on a Monday and left a message. I received a return call within an hour letting me know the owner would call me back later that day. Dave called when he said he would and was able to schedule an appointment within a few days, which was fine as the problem was with my central air and it was not necessary to get someone out immediately. The technician called earlier then scheduled which was a great. He determined the issue quickly and was able to replace a broken part, service the furnace and A/C and even reconnected a dryer vent that had come unconnected when I was moving the dryer. He was polite, professional and did a great job. I will use Fontaine for all future furnace and A/C services. Highly recommend.

He was professional, on time. Installation was with in time given. Process of removal of old burner etc was neat and clean. The installation of furnace looks great. He was very responsive to questions. More important, he responds quickly to telephone calls..

The job took two days. Dave showed up with a crew on day one, and they proceeded to dismantle the old oil-fueled heater, remove it, and prepare the basement area for the new heater's installation. Dave left to supervise other jobs, but his crew members were competent to do what needed doing, and were willing to answer questions when asked. They worked efficiently and got the work done in short order, removing the old heater and moving in the new one. On day two, the new heater was hooked up to the new gas lines. They also replaced some existing gas lines with black pipe because they said that the old pipe to the hot water heater would likely not pass inspection. In short, they went out of their way to ensure that the inspector would not fail any aspect of the work or the basement, holding up my ability to turn on the heat, in case the temperature dropped again. They cleaned up afterward, and left the basement looking good. Plus, I have a lot more room, now that I do not have a large, unsightly oil tank there. It took the inspector a long time to show up, but that is beyond Dave's control.

This was the only company to give us all of our options, carefully explained them and priced them out - even though we asked all contractors for them.3. The serviceman walked us through everything, did a thorough job and cleaned up the cellar better than before they arrived.

The company listened very well when I called in my problem. I opted for the work to be performed on a Saturday, and they clearly explained the additional labor costs in advance. They arrived exactly on time as scheduled. It was clear that they knew the business very well, even though they had not installed this system. Note: several other area companies were unwilling to take the job because and quot;we did not install itand quot;. They also identified another component that they felt should be replaced - I knew the component was failing previously. They had ALL the parts in the truck, so the job moved along very well. They were extremely quick, efficient and well organized. They left the area perfectly neat and clean. They provided good advice for the future. I could not have been happier with the high quality work, and the price was VERY reasonable, especially considering the work was completed on a Saturday! I will call on this company for any related needs in the future, and would recommend them to anyone, including my friends and neighbors.

I spoke to the owner of the company about replacing my then old system. I requested an estimate which the understanding that other estimates will be sought. I did not wish to waste my time looking for someone else because Fontaine had previously been to my home to repair the old system. There were holiday calls to him when my furnace broke down in the past and he responded. I am more interested in forming a good working relationship than haggling over a few dollars. I had found out from friends what it would cost to perform the work, so I did not wish to spend time haggling with someone else. The work was scheduled to begin on a particular day and sure he arrived with his team. He told me it will take two days and not to worry about not having hot water because he would install a temporary tank which would allow me to have some hot water though not enough to do laundry. He completed the work as scheduled but there was some problem with the Gas Company hooking up the meter. When they finally got the meter in, it was defective. David Fontaine responded as soon as I called to tell him when the meter was to be installed. He noted that there were some problems he stayed on top of the problem until the situation was remedied. He and his men cleaned up once the work was completed. I was particularly impressed that they removed the old oil without a drop on the floor.

An energy audit required replacement of our old boiler due to excessive carbon monoxide in the exhaust prior to installation of new insulation (and our safety, of course!). David Levreault and the entire Fontaine crew were here for two days replacing the boiler with a new high efficiency Prestige Gas Wall Hung Boiler as well as replacing the old hot water tank with an Indirect Storage Hot Water Tank. They were very professional from the first day when Mr. Levreault did very complete measurements for the heat loss report and then prepared a very thorough proposal right up to today when they were finished with the job and cleaned up after themselves leaving the basement spotless. They were prompt, courteous, and respectful. There were no hidden costs. I highly recommend them for all heating related needs.

It went great. They finished the job within a day. It took eight guys and four trucks. They were well organized and cleaned up very well. The price was great.
