Rob had to break up a portion of my driveway to relay-Correctly- a drainage channel which had damaged not only the driveway but also the adjoining sidewalk. The runoff from the driveway had been originally installed by the builder who chose to use the cheapest materials which were not meant to have the weight of a sidewalk on top of it and collapsed. A drainage leader from the roof next to this was done in a similar manner causing the sidewalk to heave. The drainage runoff from the driveway and leader had to be brought through the length of the side yard so as not to add to the run off which we they also had to correct which was coming from the adjoining neighborhood and neighbor. This was done was way of digging two-four foot deep trenchs which was all clay, loading that onto a dump truck and taking it away and replacing it with good loam. The run off was directed into a new river bed in which was placed stone and perforated pipe covered with filter fabric, loam and sod. The extent of the work took Robs men in between rains a week to complete. Rob's men were out there doing heavy manual labor without slacking off for multiple days in a row from 7 or 8 until dusk to finish the job. Pavers replaced the portion of the excavated blacktop driveway and sidewalk, pavers and timbers line my sodded area to hold in gravel in areas closer to the house under a porch. The areas look clean and Rob and his men did a meticulous job, cleaned up after themselves daily. Rob explained everything that was going to be done, and there were some unknowns and he explained those to as he worked with John, each of the men came by daily to check on the job and see if I had any questions or complaints. NON here - would recommend Rob and his company ANYTIME without hesitation. Thanks guys!
