Description of Work: after six months, still not applied for construction permit or started the job, even though received one third of payment. Comes across nicely during the bid and proposal, so watch out. You would be crazy to ignore this review and hire this contractor, or his partner Magliaro Construction

+ 0 moreBrendin Lange never pulled permits as required by local law and state licensing regulations. His work crew was sloppy, failing to protect the house and shrubery as they removed the old roof. The first heavy rain storm after he stated he completed his work, major leaking occurred around the chimney. An informal inspection by a city inspector confirmed Brendin Lange's team failed to perform the work around the chimney up to code. This required me to hire another roofing contractor to fix Brendin Lange's work. I am submitting a complaint to the state against his HIC license.
Description of Work: Brendin Lange contract ed with me to provide the following « Obtain all required permits • Strip and remove existing asphalt roofing materials • All stripped areas to be tarped to protect existing siding, windows, and landscape » install white 8" a|uminum drip edge • Install ice and water barrier in all vaiieys and roof edges « Repair roof deck as needed • install 30lb tar paper irral! area that did not receive ice and water barrier » install 30 year arch shingle to color of customers choice • install ridge vent on all ridges • Re iead chimney flashing a Install all flashings as needed • Install rubber flat roofing system on back and side flat roofs • Clean and remove aii debris • Magnet sweep all areas Basic work was completed with requests for two monetary increases due to unforseen circumstances.

+ -1 moreTOTAL RIP OFF TOOK ALL THE MONEY DIDN'T PAY SUB CONTRACTORS IN FULL AND QUIT WITH OUT FINISHING MY HOME THE WORK HAD TO BE ALL REDONE I HOPE THIS HELPS THE NEXT PERSON FROM BEING RIPPED OFF people beware of this contractor i will be posting some pictures of my home and how he left it-after being paid in FULL! Consumer BEWARE, we have been in contact with NUMEROUS others that have had the same situation occure!
