The men arrived on time. Each man introduced himself. Anthony, their supervisor, sat with me and explained all the paperwork. We went on a tour of the house so they knew exactly what was being moved. Started immediately and didn't even stop for a break, loaded the entire truck by 11:30. The move was from Roslindale to Canton. When they arrived in Canton, took a tour through the apartment to see where everything was to go. Started immediately, putting together the beds, tables, cabinets, helpngio ed decide where the larger pieces would fit best. Asked where each load was to be put before putting it down. Their atThe three men were totally professional, very friendly and worked very quickly. The job was finished they were on their way by 3;15 pm I would highly reccommend this company to anyone needing a move.

Dreadful experience. The crew started the day by telling us they got in late the night before from a "h*** move" and were exhausted. Lazy movers. They smoked in the truck where our possessions were getting loaded. They lost the hinges to our refrigerator and were no help in getting them replaced so we didn't have a fridge the first week we moved in until I was able to find parts by calling around to a variety of parts places on my own time and dime. They damaged our queen size mattress (bent the frame) when moving. We paid for extra insurance and it was pathetically poor coverage we learned when trying to file for the mattress coverage. The movers had no sense of urgency and my friends actually ended up moving most of the stuff. Very poor experience.

We contacted several moving companies in preparation for the move. We contacted 3 local movers before contacting Edward's Movers. One company never responded, the others provided were estimates that were unreasonably high for the amount of furniture she had. We decided to contact one more and found Edward's through a friend who had used them multiple times. Paul Embree arrived to provide an estimate that afternoon. We were immediately impressed with his professionalism and kindness to my mother in law, not to mention his price was much better than all the others. It was obvious he was very experienced and came up with a figure in less than 10 minutes. I'm sure he noticed that his furniture was old, but he knew it meant a lot to her. He assured her that everything would arrive in great condition and it did. The movers were great too! My mother in law is almost entirely blind, but insisted on staying at the home after the movers had left to sweep the floor. They put her in a safe area and kept her informed as they worked. They waited for her ride to arrive. The move into her new home went just as smoothly. From start to finish, this company did everything right. I noticed online that they have been in business for 34 years. I guess you have to do things better than your competition to stay in business that long!
