I requested a quote and they reported the job complete.

This company was excellent. My move went smooth as could be. The movers went above and beyond to take large pieces of furniture and move them out of my house at quite difficult angles.

They took great care with our furniture. There were no bumps or scratches. They had a positive attitude and were very accommodating.

This was the most amazing group of guys. They were on time, friendly, and made my move go SO well! I would never move again without hiring someone. I was overwhelmed and thought it was going to take all day and maybe an extra day, but the team of three that Compass sent had us moved into our new home in 7 hours! I couldn't be happier!

It went excellent, they were great.

Two workers who could have been moving things stood around and talked while a third was working elsewhere. Twice I went to them and personally directed them to load items. I should not have had to watch them like they were children. They broke the porch floor but said nothing. (I wondered why they suddenly stopped taking things out the front door) Almost every piece of wooden furniture was dinged or even had broken corners because nothing was wrapped in blankets. Upholstery was not wrapped and was handled with dirty hands, which left dirt smudges. A marble top for a dresser was dropped inside their truck. The estimate for replacement was about $350. Compass offered me about $30. What good is that? Their offer was neither fair nor ethical. I would never use this company again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Good communication prior to the move. Estimator came right on time. Movers came right on time, were incredibly pleasant and very helpful. Everything moved without a scratch. Took time placing furniture in new house. Actual cost came in below estimate.

It went very well. Very nice workers...did not drag their feet or take breaks. And they were helpful and pleasant, which is a BIG deal when you are moving!! The closing was delayed but I called the office and they were pleasant and understanding. It was a long day and I'm glad I had this company because I was a blithering idiot by the time they left and they STILL were pleasant!

it went great. They were on time, courteous, professional, and thorough. Paid by the hour and they did not dawdle. The only charge I was annoyed about was the charge for them to get to my house (mileage and time) but I understand that's in the moving industry. I wish my boss paid my time to get to my job. Also, they did not have wardrobe boxes which were promised. Other than those two things it went very well.

rained both days, but the guys were very careful about keeping our things clean and dry. they worked very long hours to get the job done, and were very pleasant the whole time.

I live in Philadelphia and had to find someone to move the contents of my storage unit (which was primarily rooms of new furniture) to my condo in another town. I chose Compass and I am glad I did. Compass responded quickly to my request and was able to also schedule the move within a short timeframe. They arrived as scheduled and moved my furniture without any problems. (They actually volunteered to and put my new bed frame together!) For a nominal fee, they also removed the furniture boxes. They performed the work in a professional and friendly manner. I would high recommend them and definitely use them again.

The move was great, the people (both the movers and the scheduler - Peggy) were friendly and capable. We will definitely use Compass again.

Worked steadily and hard until nearly 9:00 at night. Only as we started to run out time did they start cutting some small corners. The entire crew was a pleasure to work with, and we definitly wouldreccomend them.

Everything went great from start to finish. I called them on Sunday and left a message; they called first thing Monday and were free to do the job 2 days later. They accommodated our schedule, coming in the afternoon (2PM). They sent three guys for what was probably a two person job, because they wanted to make sure the job was done by the end of the day. The job went so fast that they ended up only charging us for two guys. They have a $300 minimum which is what they charged us. They arrived right on time, they were polite, professional and they moved right along, finishing the job in less time than anyone thought it would take.

I was very nervous about the whole move but it went very smoothly. The crew worked very efficiently and fast! We were in the new house in about 5 hours. They were very polite and considerate. I would definitely hire them again! Donna DiPersio South Yarmouth

The representative contacted me first thing on the next business day after my initial email and came out that afternoon, which was a gloomy rainy day, and cheerful trekked up into my attic and through the basement and the house to create my estimate. They were able to orchestrate my moving date with just three days notice. The moving team did a fantastic job with my move. It was a really long day and they ended up having to make a second trip. They were unfailingly polite, professional and cheerful throughout the whole move even as it stretched well past an eight hour day. I really appreciated their boundless energy and how nice they were and I truly appreciated all their hard work. They clearly knew exactly how to effect the move seamlessly and efficiently. I had some items to dispose of which they were able to take to the local transfer station for me. The next morning I received a phone call from them to let me know that the amount I had written the check for the disposal fee was too much so they would shred it and would I please send a replacement check for the lesser amount which I found to be very honest. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire this company again for another move—although I sincerely hope not to have to move again in a quick hurry ;-)
