I am very pleased with my experience with Silva Cleaning Service. I chose them solely on the quality of Angie's List reviews. This was the first time I have ever hired professional cleaners, so I was unsure of what to expect. But they made the experience seamless. The owner, Luiz, responded to my call quickly, came over the next day for an estimate and was able to schedule cleaning for me on the very day I needed. My home is about 1300 square feet. The estimate was just a bit higher than I expected, but not enough to turn me away. He sent a team of three women to clean, and they were here about 2 hours total. They followed my instructions to the letter and were fairly meticulous. It was a bonus that they brought their own cleansers. I was thrilled with the results of their work and have already recommended them to friends. I would definitely hire them again myself.

I am really happy with the service that Silva's provided, and am going to be calling them back on a monthly basis. I went with Silva because they use mainly eco-friendly cleaning products, and are in my neighborhood. The price was comparable to other professional eco-friendly and non-eco-friendly cleaners. They had one of the owners come with his team for the first cleaning, and I appreciated that. They were very thorough, moving the couch to dust behind, and dusted all the baseboards and window trim, as well as did a great job vaccuuming the rugs. I'm very picky, and was satisfied with their work. There were a couple of very small places I would have liked more attention to detail (a couple of water spots, etc), but they seemed more than willing to accommodate my additional cleaning requests in the future. They'll be back for my next cleaning soon.

I contacted Silva for a quote and they got back to me the next day and were able to come to my apartment the following day for an estimate. I was very impressed with Luiz. They came to clean last Friday. I wasn't able to nail down a schedule. They just sort of said we'll come whenever, which made me nervous. We have a dog and I wanted to make sure my husband could put him away before the cleaners came. But it turned out ok. I was extremely pleased with the thorough job they did. They scrubbed the baseboards and the appliances. My bathroom was radiant. It's safe to say they exceeded my expectations.

The service is amazing. The ladies are thorough, friendly and go above and beyond with every cleaning. We have used other services before and oour house has never been this clean. They provide lots of little extras that show that not only are the cleaning, they clean with care and respect for our home. We will continue to use them.

We are very happy with Silva cleaning. They have been coming to our house every two weeks for almost a year now and we expect to continue with them for the foreseeable future.

We had a great experience Luis Silva and his team. We started using their service shortly after the birth of our daughter and continued to use them through a house move. They were always on time and did a through job.

They do an excellent job. The initial cleaning was a top-to-bottom session with very deep cleaning and a team of people. That one was more expensive - and we knew that up front. Subsequent cleanings take place biweekly. This is a very good cleaning company. I highly recommend them.

The house was already fairly clean and I didn't see much of an improvement. The small bathroom counter had a couple small rust stains that were not treated. Afterwards, I rubbed these with cleaner and removed them within a couple minutes. The white walls were also not cleaned so I took care of these myself afterwards. Instead it looked like areas of rough wood beams/paneling had been rubbed with a paper towel. Work seemed to be rushed - there were pieces of shredded paper towel stuck to rough wood surfaces and hair/dust remaining on window frame. When I spoke with Mr. Silva afterwards he said that extra time had been taken to clean the tile floor. Yet we had agreed in advance that only a routine floor cleaning would be performed since I would be having a separate professional floor cleaner come in with machinery for tile/grout cleaning. This will still be needed since the tile floor was not visibly improved with the Silva floor cleaning. This expensive service was not worth the cost.

I didn't actually get to see the result until over a week later but my tenants said the cleaning went well and from what I could see everything looked very clean. I did think that it was too expensive given that I just wanted a basic cleaning, but they did a good job. I'd use them again, depending on the ongoing price.

they were okay, but expensive. They were difficult to get an appointment, and they gave me a list of what cleaning materials i had to buy. The workers were good, but overall it was just pricey.

They did a spectacular cleaning job on the house, and charged way less than the company suggested by our agent. Since then they have been reliable, flexible, pleasant and helpful, and they do terrific cleaning.

We've used other cleaning services in the past, and Silva compares nicely on rates and are even better on service. We like that they are a local family business and have never had a single issue with their work. Also, they easily navigate around our dog and are flexible around our sometimes changing schedules. We've recommended them to many people, who have all in turn been satisfied. Grade A experience!

We are very pleased with their work. If they need to change a date or time of their appointment they always call to discuss to make sure it's convenient for us.

They charge a first time fee to see how long it will take to clean your house. All subsequent regular cleanings have a lower set fee which depends on the size of your home and the number of bathrooms, etc. For example, I have two full baths but only need to have one cleaned during each visit since I am now an empty nester. Luis Silva, the owner, is very personable and will accommodate your reasonable requests. I have been using Silva Cleaning Service for the last five months and am very happy with their work. I recommend them highly.

I found the owner to be very professional from the moment of our first contact with him when he went through the house, and was very clear about the kind of service he could provide for us. He did not force his services on us, and gave us a chance to decide if his description of services and estimate was appropriate for us. He works with a team of people which gets the job done faster. His cleaning products work well, but do not leave a lingering strong, irritating cleanser odor. When I have been home, he and his team have been very respectful. We also appreciate the decorative touch they have such as how they fold towels etc.

I called Luiz Silva/Silva Cleaning Service upon finding good reviews of their company on Angie's List. I was specifically looking for a "green" house cleaner. I called Luiz at the beginning of April (on a Monday) and he made an appointment to come out and give an estimate the next day (Tuesday.) He did a thorough walk-through, detailing all of the services/areas they would focus on and the products they would use. I liked the explanation and attention to detail. Luiz surprised us by saying he could do our first cleaning two days later on Thursday. He asked if I had any time preferences from his cleaning schedule's availability. We settled on 8:30-9am on Thursday mornings for our regular, bi-weekly cleaning. I made a point of stressing that 8:30-8:45 am would be preferable as I needed to get my oldest child to school by 9am, so I would have to leave. I told him if they weren't there when I had to leave for school drop off they would have to wait until I came back as I locked the house when I left. He assured me they would be there prior to my leaving for school drop off. He quoted me $140 per cleaning, which I thought was high but I decided to accept for a thorough, chemical-free cleaning that would be safe for my kids and family to be around. The first cleaning was very good and most things were sparkling. The one exception was they forgot to clean/dust our large dining room table, which was the first thing I saw when I went through the house. I quickly was able to dust it down and didn't feel it was necessary to call them back just to dust and polish a table. I chalked it up to this being their first time cleaning a new house, so everything was new to them, but it was a pretty obvious miss. The cleaning took between 1.5 - 2 hours, which they said would be standard for our size house with a cleaning crew of 3 people. We continued on with cleanings every other week. Most weeks there were 3 people though some weeks there were only 2. The amount of time spent cleaning the house didn't change, oddly, depending on how many people showed up. I started to notice over time that little things wouldn't be quite a thoroughly cleaned or sparkling as the very first impressive cleaning. But still, they were providing a service to me that meant I had more time to spend with my kids instead of cleaning, so it was still worth it. I started to get irritated when I realized that over time their arrival time was straying later and later. Very seldom did they come before 9am, despite our conversations about my child's school drop off time. There were a couple of times I called to check to see where they were as I was heading out of the driveway, in the process holding up my child from getting to school on time. Each time I was told there was traffic, however, if it's a consistent problem they should have left earlier as we were the first appointment of the day. This grew to really frustrate me as I would plan to have them arrive at one time only to have them be late each time. As I have a few children preschool age and under, it was never easy for me to coordinate the cleaners coming with getting toddlers and preschoolers ready for school/out the door. To have them be consistently late was ridiculous. However, again, I continued with the cleanings as it was a help to me to have the bulk of the house mostly wiped down in a chemical-free manner. Things continued in this pattern until the first week of June when we had to have some emergency work done on our house. Unfortunately the work had to occur and it happened to overlap with our regular cleaning day. Once I found out about the emergency work's scheduling, I called Luiz to ask if we could reschedule and told him I didn't want him to lose a week's work . He was accommodating saying that they could reschedule me. Since I didn't know exactly how long the work was going to be going on, we left it that I would touch base with him when the house was free and clear for cleaning again. I called Luiz back once I knew when the work would be over and Luiz offered up a couple of days and times saying that he could probably schedule me on that day. I picked the first available. The afternoon of makeup day we were scheduled to be cleaned I received a call from Luiz saying that they in fact could not clean us as it had gotten too late. This was a bit frustrating as I had prepped the entire house for cleaning, meanwhile keeping my kids out of things so the house was ready to go when the cleaners showed up. But I understood as scheduling changes do happen. So he offered up another date time that he could probably clean our house, I took it. I was shocked when he called to cancel again at the last minute. And again the third time (prior to 3pm.) At this point, we were done but I requested that he come and clean as he had blown me off three times. He was upset but they came. They were not happy and cleaned the house poorly in less than 1 hour. Better customer service is needed!

I was getting overwhelmed trying to keep up with picking up after three kids and still getting everything else done. The holidays and entertaining all the relatives was the last straw, so I called the Silvas. They pay great attention to detail. I've left towels slung over the shower stall and cluttered up the shelves, only to find the towels folded neatly on the rack and the shelves not only dusted thoroughly but the objects put back neater than before. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of service high. I like that they use green cleaning products, which I've been trying to use myself in between cleanings.

Luiz and Ivanete have become our regular cleaners, and we are thrilled. They have never missed a scheduled day, and from the first cleaning to the most recent, every time I come home on the day they have been here, I am amazed at how spotless and beautiful my house is. Their attention to detail is remarkable: one day when I hadn't had time to fully make my bed, they even did that. Their prices are very reasonable as compared to other companies who gave us quotes, and we cannot praise them sufficiently. A very important factor in choosing them is that they use only natural cleaners, too, which is something we value highly. A wonderful company with wonderful service.

Right from the beginning, they were quick to respond to my initial call. They fit us in right away. The initial cleaning was $140. It was completely worth it! They spent several hours making everything spotless and with our giant dog, that is not an easy task. We know have them come back every few weeks for maintainence cleaning. There cleaning is very good, but my favorite detail is that they fold the ends of our paper towels and toilet paper into pretty shapes!

We've used the Silva's for 10 years. They come in bi-weekly and in no time at all perform the above services. They are reliable and always call in advance if they are running late or need to reschedule (which does not happen often). They are pleasant but don't spend a lot of time chit-chatting, they get right to work and efficiently do the job. They are trustworthy and I recommend them highly.

My 7 room,3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo sparkles after the Silva's have been there! There is no leftover chemical haze or smell from the eco-friendly, natural products they use. It's such a stress reliever to trust that they will come in bi-weekly to help me keep up with everything. They are lovely people who do a thorough and wonderful job.
