In a word, Dennis was fan-freaking-tastic. He responded to our emails at all hours of the day/night, even on his vacation when we made the initial offer. When he was unavailable, one of his colleagues stepped in seamlessly. Dennis took us on a tour of 4 homes, one of which we ended up buying. He was great in managing a difficult seller/seller's agent on our behalf, and was very reasonable in offering advice when needed. And on top of all that, we get a third of the buyer's agent commission back at the end. Could not have asked for an easier process from Redfin's end.

We could not have had a better experience buying our first home with Peter Phinney at Redfin! Peter demonstrated a great deal of experience in the field and knew the area (JP) very well, down to the street level. He gave us advice on everything from appropriate offer prices to school districts to getting set up in our new home. He also helped us assemble a great team to complete the purchase process and was available around the clock to answer even the smallest questions. The whole process went very smoothly and was a lot less stressful than we'd anticipated. I must admit that I initially had reservations about the level of service we'd receive from Redfin, given that they are not a "traditional" real estate agency. Luckily I was worried for no reason, because Peter and Redfin offered excellent service at a better "price" thanks to the Redfin credit!

As a first time homebuyer and a new homeowner, I am very grateful to have worked with Sean through the home-buying process. Sean’s knowledge, experience, communication skills, resources, and flexibility were absolutely essential to address the various issues that developed during this process. Despite my research and preparation about the process, I soon encountered an issue with the purchasing process, which led me to an internet search where I discovered Redfin. Within a couple of hours of making an inquiry, Sean already contacted me and provided me with some guidance about the issue and process and a no-pressure approach to entering into a buyer’s agent agreement. As we encountered additional unexpected issues with the listing agent, broker, seller, and real estate attorneys, Sean worked hard to communicate the issues and develop some creative options to address these challenges in a timely manner and address my concerns without any added pressure to just do whatever it takes to close the deal. Sean has also developed strong relationships with real estate attorneys and lenders, who were not only very effective in resolving issues in these areas, but who also worked very hard to avoid any new or additional issues that could have developed into potential problems. After experiencing the home-buying process, I can truly appreciate how valuable it is to not only have Sean’s experience and guidance, but also such a responsive team of lenders and attorneys to effectively and efficiently address significant and urgent issues in a timely manner. Sean was a definitely a great advisor and advocate to respond to each of the challenges that popped up at various stages of the process. Despite all of the issues and challenges, it was a pleasure to work with Sean and his team. Without his guidance, experience and the resources his responsive team of lenders and attorneys, I am not confident that I would have closed on the home that I currently own. I believe that Sean and Redfin provide a service that is often better than many ‘traditional’ and more recognized Real Estate Agencies – based on my experience where Sean/Redfin addressed several issues that should have been addressed by the listing agent/broker. Receiving the buyer’s commission rebate check from Redfin within 10 days of closing was another great example of how easy and responsive it was to work with Sean and Redfin. Therefore, I highly and enthusiastically recommend Sean, his team, and Redfin to anyone who is considering purchase or sale of a home.
