This was a very positive experience. When first reaching John by phone he had a couple of suggestions about how to troubleshoot the problem, based on the limited info I could provide. He was clearly not jumping at the chance to come by and charge me for a service call and referenced it would be wise for me to check out these issues before having him visit and incur a charge. Since I was not able to remedy the problem I scheduled a visit with John. He arrived on time, was very personable, and was clear in explaining the situation. He invited me to hang around and watch him fix the problem, and offered some suggestions for longer term maintenance of the furnance. He was totally low key, no pressure, and very pleasant. He did not waste any time and had the problem fixed w/in 30 minutes or so of arriving. Not only was my problem fixed quickly and cost effectively, but I picked up some valuable pointers for tasks I can perform to keep the furnace in good order for many years ahead. Entirely worth the time/spend.

John came and checked a leak in our 30 plus year old unit. He did not charge for this visit. He said it was time to replace the unit and gave us an estimate the next day which included a new 40 gallon heater and all installation charges of $1245.00 After googling the water heater brand name (American Hot Water Heaters) to check for efficiency ratings, I discovered a number of bulletin board posts regarding defective parts. I called John and told him about the issues with the brand he wanted to use. He did not know about the issues and imediately suggested a Rheem/Rudd unit. He said that the estimate might go up by $100.00 to 1345.00 which I OK'd He replaced the unit, took the old one out and cleaned up. All on schedule. The heater carries a 10year warrantee. Once he was done, John then fixed a leaky faucet in our kitchen, which took about 30 minutes, without extra charges. He has twice gone above and beyond what he was asked to do.

Arrived promptly. Inspected gas heater and replaced a relay. He also purchased better fitting filter for heater. However heater fan still not working reliably and about 25 years old so decided to look into replacing heating system rather than perform further repairs on the fan. Unclogged drain.

John responded promptly to my call and showed up on time. He was courteous and professional. He showed me what he would do and showed me the proper way to put the filter in. He was thorough but did not try to sell me on anything extra. In fact, I asked him if I should have a service contract. He said that since our furnace was less than two years old, such a contract would be a waste of my money. We were very pleased with his service. I think he is trustworthy and would use him again.

Great. John was honest, helpful, and thorough. In addition to performing the work efficiently, he took the opportunity to teach me a bit about our heating system.

John arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with the heating system. He made an appointment to come back in 2 days. (We still had heat. This was not an emergency.) He came back on schedule and worked quickly and efficiently. The result was fantastic! The heat works better than it has in many years. John was extremely honest. He evaluated the heating unit, which is between 30 and 40 years old, and claimed that it still has a lot of life left. He suggested that we replace the expansion tank in the next couple of years. He saved us a lot of money with his, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." philosophy. He is now our Plumber of choice.

Called him Monday, and he was able to have the part installed by Wednesday exactly as he told me. Price was reasonable. Would definitely call him again.

John responded quickly (within 24 hours) and arrived to look at the job. We were relieved, since the problem was a small one, but prohibited my parents from using their shower, which had us all sharing one bathroom. He is very polite and affable and described what was necessary to my dad. To my surprise, he didn't do the work right away, instead said that he would "call". More than a week later I called and emailed to find out if John was actually going to do the job, because we hadn't heard from him. No call back from John. Another few days passed, and I called again and also called another plumber, assuming John did not want our job. Finally, John called, very politely said he had been busy and that he could come in another 3 days. By this time, my parents had been without use of their shower for two weeks. I asked him to give me a verbal quote, so I would know what to expect and he said "1 or 2 hours" at $95 and hour (I assumed the price would be around $200). He arrived on the morning stated, calling to say he would arrive late. He fixed the fittings and the hose in less than two hours. He seemed to have a bad cold, which may have explained the delay in response. He billed us for 2 1/2 hours time, and $97 for materials (a metal shower hose, some small pieces of copper pipe maybe 10", and a chrome fitting - it seemed like a lot for the materials, but he said the chrome fitting was "very hard to find") for a total cost of 334.50! (see photos). John seems to have done a great job and is very personable and polite, but we were not prepared for the total cost, which greatly exceeded what we would have expected.

They did a great job on the service. They were on time and responsive from when we initially called them. The work has been good so far. I would recommend to others.

J.C. returned my call within 2 hours and made an appointment. He was prompt and friendly. He worked on the furnace and fan. When he discovered the problem with the fan he called to get pricing and also provided us with some cheaper options. He also took a few minutes to discuss options for eventually replacing our 20+ year old furnace. Instead of trying to sell us on a new unit he told us the furnace is still in good shape and may last another few seasons. He also discussed options that we might want to look into in a few years. Very honest, very professional. We will hire him again.

I called around for a few estimates. One company wanted $49 just to come out and give me a price. Another guy came out and told me I would new all new pipes (my house is only 13 yrs old). Some people thought the job was too small and couldn't be bothered. John had the best hourly rate and seemed very nice on the phone. He told me the job would take about 4 hours. Other plumbers gave me the same time estimate. John was prompt and professional. The job took a little over 2 hours. I thought he was very nice and I appreciated his honestly. He did not try to tell me I needed all new pipes and he did not drag the job out so he would get paid more. If I ever have any other plumbing issues I am calling John.

John of JC Aldorasi Plumbing is the owner and, I believe, sole employee. We hired him for a planned job which was a complete newly renovated kitchen hookup which included dishwasher, sink, disposal, and refrigerator. At the same time he installed a new washing machine shutoff valve and secured a wobbly water main near the meter. He quoted a price of approx. $600.00 and came in just under that. A couple of weeks later, after we moved in, an upstairs shower leak ruined our dining room ceiling. We did not hesitate to call John because of our first experience with him. He scheduled the job for a couple of days later because we had another shower we could use. He arrived as scheduled and rebuilt the valves on both upstairs showers for just under $200.00. If you need a plumbing price comparison, we hired a "big" plumbing company to disconnect our kitchen sink and cap the pipes. Ten minutes later we were charged $310.00 and told that the kitchen hookup alone would be $900.00. We are very happy with JC Aldorasi Plumbing and are planning to have him install new toilets for us.

I was pleased with the consult and also with John's work.

My daughter met with John and was totally pleased with the work and the experience. We both thought that the pricing was very reasonable. I look forward to working with him in the future. He was also very responsive to calls in spite of what must be a very busy pre-heating season.

John called to say he was delayed-did I need him to come now anyway or could I wait, I said I could wait. He arrived as then planned, was calm and focused, fixed the drain, reamed it some extra to avoid further blockages, gave a bit of advice. Offered to look at a running toilet, adjusted it, said it might be ok with just that (it was!). I would certainly hire him again.

He is a great guy. Honest, hard-working, fair-priced.

Excellent experience. This was an emergency. John came within the hour and alone (no appliance holder with him... one of my on-going beefs with plumbers is that they arrive in duos, one usually holds the tools, picks his nose or looks bored; meanwhile the customer is charged for 2 men). John much to my surprise discussed the options: one expensive, the other much less costly. He fixed both problems in a very timely fashion. Great guy, knowledgeable, efficient and punctual. Would definitely use him again.

John was very accommodating and came to my house the same day I'd called him to evaluate whether the basement, which had been taking on considerable water, might benefit from installation of another sump pump. His assessment was that it would probably not help much. While at the house, he took a look at a toilet that I was concerned about and reassured me that its function was fine. He was nice enough to charge nothing for the visit. He struck me as honest as he didn't try and create work for himself when he didn't see the need.

John was available and prompt. He came once to analyze the problem (leaking around the base of the toilet) and did a temporary fix but recommended that we replace the fixture. We decided to do that, and he supplied the toilet and took away the old fixture. Overall, a fairly painless experience.

Mr. Aldorasi was a pleasure to work with. He returned my phone call a couple of days after I left a message for him (I had indicated that it was no rush, not an emergency). We set up a time in the next week. Although I had to cancel that appointment with little notice, John was very understanding and we arranged another time. John showed up on time on our scheduled date. He was very pleasant and got the job done quickly. I always worry that I will be taken for a ride with things I don't understand (like heating/AC!), but John was very trustworthy and did not "find" problems that weren't there. He checked the unit, cleaned it well, performed other routine maintenance, and was on his way. His rate is also very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I was really happy that he took the time to explain things to me. He was able to come within 24 hours.

Starting with the estimate and on through the repairs, John was exceptional. He was on time, efficient, friendly, professional and the cost of the job was in line with the estimate.

John was very responsive and came to the property one day after we spoke and was able to immediately replace the water heater. The other issue will require some follow-up based on parts availability, but the main work of the water heater was done quickly and was done well. John was professional and answered my questions thoroughly. He also provided additional perspective on some other systems in the home as we walked through which gave me some helpful insight.

He answered my call, scheduled a visit within a couple days and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He was very courteous and professional.
