Eddy service is very fair when charging customers. Did not charge me a visit fee when the issue was with the appliance. Would recommend in future

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! I put in a request on HomeAdvisor on 10/26/2019, because I have been having a bad odor coming from my dishwasher. Eddy called me pretty soon after the request. I explained my issue, and we agreed for him to come out to see my dishwasher on Tuesday 10/29/2019. He came out, had no idea what it was, but disconnected my dishwasher anyways. He stated that he needed to come back in order **fix** the installation. He came back on Saturday 11/02/2019, took various hours, and changed the configuration of the pipes under the sink. He said he was **95% sure** that that was the cause of the smell. He charged me $700.00 for the work. I told him that it takes a few days for the smell to come up, so if it still comes back, we agreed that I would call him back in order for him to come back and figure out what the issue is. The smell came back a few days later, so obviously, what Eddy did not address the issue. I have been trying to get him to come back ever since then in order to fix my issue, which he took my $700.00 for. He always seems to have an excuse as to why he cannot make it. Today is 12/16/2019, and I STILL have not heard from the guy. What a CROOK!!! DO NOT USE THIS GUY. Please look at similar reviews here on HomeAdvisor. He jumps on job requests whether he knows what to do or not (he literally called me withing minutes of posting my request). If he does not know what he is doing, he will take your money anyways, and your money is gone. Good luck trying to get him back! HIRE AT OUR OWN PERIL. CROOK, CROOK, CROOK!!!

Eddy was great. He came the same day I found him on home advisor. The install was fast and he was very professional. I would hire him again.

Eddie came to install my dishwasher he also connected my ice maker for my fridge. Dishwasher was fine. Ice maker doesn't work still and water coming from fridge is a dribble. Contacted Eddie - no response. Definitely would never hire again. Beware - he?s fine as long as there isn?t a problem.

We hired Eddy to remove an existing kitchen cabinet and install a new dishwasher in that space. This also included a new electrical outlet for the dishwasher. Also, needed water hook up to our new fridge. Eddy did a great job, worked hard and got the job done. Very courteous and responsive as well. We would hire him again.

Great person, great worker, knows how to fix many things, has a construction background, but can be a little pricey. But I would hire him again in a second.

Eddy is a nice guy, but I did not have the greatest experience. He was supposed to start on a job doing a washer/dryer hookup on a Saturday and showed up 3 hrs late (called on time to say was running late, but 3 hrs??), started the work, and in less than an hr had to leave to go to Home Depot. Gone a while (over an hr when the store is maybe 3 miles away), I called and he said he would come back Monday at 9am to do the job. I was upset bc I waited around in my house from 10am-5pm and ended up having to take a day off of work anyway. Monday did not show up until about 10:30am. Worked for a while, left to go to Home Depot, worked some more, left for almost 2 hrs (idk where). Finally when it came time to pay, he charged me $1900 for the job. I stupidly paid and then realized after that I did not get a receipt with a description of the services done. I asked him for it via text and he just avoided my message and never sent an invoice. I asked another plumber who was referred to me my boss afterward to take a look, and asked him how much he would charge (w/o saying how much I paid), and he said no more than $1,000. I can not help but feel I was taken advantage of for being a young-ish female who did not know better. Tough lesson learned as a first time homeowner.

Eddy was a gentleman, and he was very professional. I was very impressed with his skillfulness and his honesty. I hired him to replace my dishwasher and another time to replace a porcelain kitchen sink. He was very easy to work with, and I am very pleased with his work. There will be other projects, and I will call him again in the future.

Widely skilled person who is very pleasant to work with. He responds and comes very quickly. I will likely call on him in the future when I need help with projects.

I had a fantastic experience with Eddy. He was reliable and honest, not taking any payment from me until the job was done, even though he had to make multiple trips because we kept finding more complications with the job. I would definitely recommend him.xz

Fast and complete

Eddy arrived at my home to hang a very large mirror. At first I was skeptical because I felt it was a 2 man job because of the size of the mirror. Eddy handled this job like a true professional and showed me he could handle it alone. He was very careful with the handling of my mirror. He did his measuring repeatedly to make sure everything was correct, then he found the beams in the wall and marked them. He even had to move the hooks on the mirror over a half inch on each side so the hooks would reach the location where the beam measurements were located on each side of the wall. He did a fantastic job!! I am very pleased with his work and I would hire him again. Thanks Eddy!!

Eddy was a little late due to traffic, but he called to let me know this. We went over the several small jobs that I wanted to be done. He gave me a fair price and started working right away on the inside jobs first, then the outside jobs (even in the drizzly rain). He could not fix the mechanism for the front storm door, but I said I would order, and he said to give him a call, and he would come back to install, he would be in my area the next couple of weeks working on a job. I paid for all jobs today, including the one that needs the part. Eddy returned today to change the door opening mechanism. Jobs are now completed. I have just hired Eddy for a second experience, and he did not install the front light correctly, but he told me that is how the light was originally installed. He sent me a front view of the light that he took with him to purchase the light from Home Depot and yes that is how it was installed except for the side view. I had Eddy go buy and install a new light since I had him here for other things, and he said he could do the job! We haggled about price for the work to be done. He does this instead of giving you a price beforehand. What he wanted for the jobs was way over priced, and so we finally agreed, grudgingly on his part, a price. I did not like how the light was installed. Worse than originally. The new light is not sitting evenly on the back panel that lights sit on when they are installed on vinyl siding to have an even level place. Then, the light does not sit flush and looking up under the light and from the side, you can see the wires! Could not see them before (my neighbor agreed). Whether this is how the original light was installed, which he said it was, and he showed me a picture of, he should know that this is not how an outside light should be installed where it is going to get wet! He did not install so no moisture was going to get in. Certainly did not caulk around. I am disappointed as to how it was installed! Hire if you want. I will not use him again! P.S. He emailed on 11/17 that he would be by on 11/23 AM to fix the light the way it should be. Didn't like the review. Today is 11/23 - No show and No call. So can add that, also.

Eddy didn t replace one of the hoses when replacing our dishwasher which caused a leak. The leak warped the floorboards in our kitchen and dining room. Eddy has not responded to repeated texts about whether or not he has insurance. He asked if we could talk on the phone but he didn t answer and hasn t called back.
