Avalon Masonry and Construction

I required some repairs to the masonry of a granite and cinderblock foundation. James is pleasant, clearly explains the work that he intends to do, and shows the results when finished. He fit my work into his schedule and his crew completed all the repairs within a few days. He and his crew removed all the debris when finished. He also adjusted his schedule to address some additional repairs that were previously unnoticed. I highly recommend James and his company.

Very professional. Did a complete inspection before giving an estimate. Avalon had the specific experience in repairing foundations that we were looking for. They also moved things in the basement to access the walls they worked on, then moved everything back when they were finished. They cleaned up afterwards both inside and outside.

James was quick to reply and to come out and assess the issue. I had another company reply who gave me a higher quote w/out even using a ladder to inspect the chimney, flashing, etc. James worked with my condo association to get the necessary paperwork and took pictures of the issues upon request. All in all a seamless interaction!

These guys did an awesome job. Showed up when they said they would, completed the chimney demo job, and cleaned up the site. I enjoyed working with James to spec/cost the job as I wanted it done! Looking forward to the next job with them to repair our retaining wall and add stone steps.

James repaired leaks into our house from he chimney. He replaced the flashing repointed some bricks and waterproofed the bricks. It looks excellent.

James and his crew did a great job for us. Both roof and basement walls were leaking and we needed expert help. We're very satisfied with the work they did. We'll use them again when the need arises.

James is a great communicator which makes him a good contracting partner. This was a large job and I am absolutely satisfied. The only reason for the four and a half rather than five stars was because I was left with a lot of cleanup after they were finished.

They show up everyday on time and work consistently until the project is finished. Once they are done they clean up and leave no trash behind. James and his team at Avalon Construction are excellent! James is very knowledgable and listens to the problem and then works out a solution. My problem was an old chimney. James told me it would take one day and it did . It was magnificentI For a reference I was able to speak to a police detective that lives around the block from me who James has done other projects for. That reference also gave James Five Stars! James and his crew were very professional and prompt! They came out, evaluated my chimney and offered me the best solution for my issue. I had contacted other masonry companies to compare pricing and options and their pricing was in-line with what other companies were charging. But, it was the top notch service, clear communication and follow-up that won them the job. They finished the entire project in just two days! And, after my brother stopped by to take a look at the job, he immediately requested their information to have them take a look at his property as well.
