It was a very tight staircase and the crew did an amazing job getting the piano out without any damage to the walls. They arrived on time and were professional. I highly recommend their services.

It went as smoothly as I think a piano move could ever go. Joe and John were easy to communicate with in the office, and they did not get frustrated at all when I kept changing the location to where the piano was going to be moved. The price was extremely fair considering all the stairs, no elevator, and a move across town. The three guys who showed up were true pros and made it so easy. I did not even come downstairs to see what was happening. They took good care of the old piano, even wrapping it in pads. I would recommend them highly.

From my initial phone call, to the company's follow-up by e-mail and phone to confirm the move, to the actual move, Allston Piano Movers' staff were professional, prompt, careful, and efficient. Love them! And would definitely use them again.

Everything went very well. They are professional and punctual. Allston Piano was also recommended to us by Steinert and Sons. If they are good enough for moving steinways, they are good enough for me.

Returned calls for estimate and to schedule date promptly. Arrived promptly and were polite and respectful of property. Very easy to deal with.

Robert was great from start to finish. He came out and gave us an evaluation to see if they could carry the piano up. They came on time and were in and out in less than an hour. They were willing to book within a week but we had to reschedule for a time that worked better for us. They cleaned up after themselves! This was my grandmother's piano and I was very concerned about damaging it. They did a great job!

In our several telecons with them, they canceled the job because according to them we failed to give them complete timely delivery information. We found that they made a mountain out of a molehill and the second quote was a hundred dollars higher. We got another mover, ''EOWN AND COUNTRY' from Malden immediately afterwards and they did an excellent job. In fact they moved a few other items of furniture within our house as a courtesy.

This was an unhappy experience for us. The crew wrapped the piano with pads that scratched the finish and bumped the keyboard corners, resulting in dents. The remedy was an introduction to a furniture repair outfit that never returned calls and Allston showed no interest in resolving the matter. We did not have such trouble when the piano was delivered to Cambridge the year before. If you are moving a fine instrument, I recommend looking elsewhere.
