Do It All Construction, I did use, yes. The work overall went OK, nothing in particular just that eight hours to install a door seemed a little crazy to me. Once they finished installing the door they told me that you are going to need to replace this anyway because the weather stripping is coming off. If they had told me before I installed the door, I would have gone and bought a new door instead of paying somebody installing another one shortly thereafter. It would have been my choice to continue with the job or to buy the new door if there was a potential to replace it again soon.

Steve came out when we agreed to look at the job. He was punctual on the day he looked at the job and on the morning he came out to do the work. I was impressed that he takes notes and measurements and writes things down. Not all carpenters/contractors do but should. Steve actually had to build the pieces at his home and then assembled them here. On the day of the job, he showed up on time and worked until the job was completed which included an unexpected trip to a home improvement store. Steve cleaned up after himself which I appreciated. There wasn't more than a small pile which went easily into a trash barrel but I would have rented a dumpster had there been a lot of debris. Steve is a very pleasant contractor to work with, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I found him easy to work with and he was willing to work with me. Having an old house, that is especially important to me. Steve was also not bothered by the fact that I do not leave contractors unattended. I also liked the fact that Steve has experience and possessed the correct tools for the job and didn't need to wing it to finish the work. As far as the gutter guards he installed, he assured me that if they didn't keep the water from seeping between the gutter/fascia board and leaking through the soffit, he would come back and address it. Steve also stuck to the quote even when there was a misunderstanding which I found extremely professional. Fortunately, it was not a huge amount and I would not have expected him to honor the quote had it been significantly more. I don't like to write reviews right away since I have come to learn that not all problems present themselves immediately. The rot that resulted from the job being done incorrectly didn't show up for two years. Of course, that is especially bad but I feel Steve has integrity and pride in his work and would address any situation that might arise down the road. I would hire Steve again.

It went well with the exception that we had initially expected the front of the house to be repainted earlier in the process. We had a fairly long delay as Steve had other jobs before ours. Once started, all projects were completed quickly and professionally.

great. I paid through Angie's list for 2 hours of service. He worked constantly for 2 hours...when he went over, I was notified and there was one more light fixture to install. I will definitely call him back to install the light and a mirror in the bathroom.

I used their service last May and the service turned out okay. I did pay them a couple of hundred bucks more for the some additional service that they made.

Steve, provide a great estimate. Showed up on time, was professional. I decided not to use him as I was able to get my sister to do it for free. I would use Steve again in the future.

Steve Shola was prompt in responding to my initial phone call, meeting me at my Mother's house for the estimate, and arriving on scheduled time for the repair.Steve worked straight through the day until the job was complete. I watched his progress throughout the day, and all of the work was done at a hign quality. I am very satisfied with his work and would definetly recommend him and use him again.

The coordination of an appointment was seamless and the door works and looks great.

He put in a full day not even stopping for lunch. He came on time, he was neat, and cleaned up everything. He was great. I would definitely use him again but he is a busy dude.

Very prompt and efficient. The only problem I have now is the cleanup. I was responsible for getting rid of everything and it is a problem due to nails in the wood and the weight of the old broken tiles.

Do it All Construction did a really nice job installing a new exterior door and storm door. The job was not easy, I'm sure, as it was an irregular size and in a recess, basement access. You'd never know it, though! They did a great job. The door looks great and functions flawlessly. The only reason for the two "B" grades was that it rained on the originally scheduled installation date and no one called me to tell me that they wouldn't be showing up to do the install because of the rain. I had to call them. They did reschedule very quickly and do a wonderful job, so I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

He arrived on time, was professional and efficient. All work was performed satisfactorily.

Excellent. This was ,by far, the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. He showed up when he said he would to do the estimate, called me that night with price and his available start date. He showed up when he said he would and did exceptional work. He was neat during the work day, fast, and very detail oriented. Additionally he is a nice guy whom I felt comfortable leaving alone in my home. He did an outstanding job and there were no surprise costs added on at the end of the job. I would gladly hire this company again.

We did not want to proceed because we had to move an attached bookcase and heavy furniture. There was no problem with the company itself.

Steve gave us a good price for the amount of work that was done, including the purchase of 9 windows. He was always on time, pleasant to deal with, worked all day and was always available in person or by phone to answer questions. He called us at the end of the day on many occasions to see if we liked the work that was completed. He did a great job on everything that we had to do. We have a new house and thanks to Steve it was done in only 3 weeks. We were so pleased with his work that we have already booked him for a kitchen renovation in May.

Don't lose track of expiration dates!

Mr. Steve Shola, the principal of Do It All Construction, returned all phone messages and was punctual. He prepared and mailed me a well-written estimate, which we then attached to a standard contract. The work was done well - on time and it looks good. The repaired deck is SOLID. You can tell that Mr. Shola makes furniture; it is reflected in his craftsmanship. Mr. Shola also did a complete cleanup after the job was done. I gave him a "B" for price because I feel that the work could have come in a tad cheaper, but I am fiscally conservative. However, please note that his estimated price held firm to complete all the work. I would definitely hire Mr. Shola again.

He was fantastic - professional, quick, responsive. I got one room painted - two coats. It looked beautiful. He was very busy so i had to wait a month to get on his calendar but it was worth it. I highly recommend!

We are going to replace our front door at some point. However, it was looking awful and was in need of some new paint. Steve had an advertised special to paint a room for $99. We asked him if he would mind applying the special to our front door and door frame. He agreed. We set a date for the work to be done. He showed up and completed the job. The door looks great! Thanks Steve!

My husband just said to me, "this guy's the paint saint." And my husband is right! This man was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We met with him, obtained an estimate and scheduled our job. He arrived on the date agreed upon, at 8am sharp. I have never seen anyone work like Steve. If you don't hire him, there's really something wrong with you. His price was extremely reasonable. His work was incredible. I didn't even see him stop to eat anything for lunch. He removed a roomful of VERY old wallpaper in my son's room, which was no small job. We had another painter tell us that it practically couldn't be done. Steve debunked that. He repaired any holes in the walls left by picture hangers, etc. and painted the room and the trim flawlessly. He also painted the ceiling. He painted our mudroom, also perfectly. Our house is sided, but the paint around the windows was flaking badly and our garage door looked like it was ready to fall apart. Steve repaired our windows where it was needed, then painted the trim around all the windows. He painted both front and side doors on our house. I have no idea what he did with the garage door, but the thing looks new. I didn't think it would ever look that good, even with a new coat of paint and some repair. It looks brand new now. He removed our shutters, then took them home with him and painted them after he'd spent the whole day painting our house. The shutters are, of course, beautiful. He put them back up with new screws. I can't believe how beautiful the house looks now. It also need to be said that, not only did Steve work for us for three and a half days, but he also did it in the middle of Hurricane Sandy. He didn't miss a day. He was on time, here every morning bright and early, and he didn't leave until evening. He never stopped working. I have never seen anyone with this guy's work ethic. Again, if you don't hire him, then you've got a real problem. We have a little dog who never stopped barking at Steve. We also have a toddler who can be quite a handful. Steve was genuinely friendly to everyone, even the dog. He was personable and REAL. I never thought I'd ever say that it was a pleasure to have my house painted. Usually indoor project like this create stress for me, just because everything is moved around and you've got rooms that are off limits for periods of time. Having a stranger in the house is also weird. NONE of this was the case with Steve. He made us feel comfortable, and it was, as I said, a pleasant experience. We have had indoor painting done previously and it was a nightmare. I think I'm still scarred from it. I wish we'd found Steve back then! The cost was exactly what he stated in the estimate, with the addition of an extra room that we asked to be painted (mudroom), which he hadn't planned for. He cheerfully agreed to do the other room even though I'm sure it caused him to have to adjust his work schedule for the extra time he had to take with us. I was apparently naive and asked if he wanted to be paid, the day he got here. Not only did he refuse, stating that he preferred to be paid when the job was done, but he also told me never to ask a contractor that question. He was the epitome of honesty and integrity. Everyone in the house loved him. Even the dog was sad to see him go. If you don't hire Steve, I'm telling you, you've got no one to blame for whatever happens to you, but yourself. I've done my part. :)

He was professional and honest. He told me he would call me back and he held up to his word.
