Description of Work: This contractor responded quickly to my request for an estimate but I did not use this contractor. I found a much less expensive local professional.

+ -1 moreKevin was very responsive via email and accomodating. I obtained three quotes, and Jarvis was the only one that offered to provide documentation of work performed (the others relied on the caps put on iron rods embossed with their license number only). I'm an engineer for a living, and having a document with the scope of work performed with a date seemed like it would be standard practice, which Jarvis provided. The surveyors did a great job in the field. My back corners are in a heavily wooded wet area and they were still able to mark the line and corner. I tried to clear a path but I was still impressed at how far back they had to go to finish the job. My only negative comment was scheduling when the work was to be performed. I didn't receive a notification of what day they were planning on starting, so I was surprised when they showed up. Not a big deal since all work is performed outside and doesn't require interaction with the homeowner, but an email would have been nice. Aside from that minor detail though I was extremely pleased and would recommend Jarvis for performing property line surveys.
Description of Work: Performed a property line survey from the existing plan on file at the Registry of Deeds. Drove iron rods at the corners (or drilled through boulders if one was in the way), and placed wooden stakes along the lines. Provided a simple plot plan drawing that showed the locations of the iron rods and stakes (note, the property didn't change, the drawing just documented the work performed and was cleaner than the one manually drafted in the 70s).
