+ 0 moreThey were wonderful. Highly respectful of the home recognizing the need to move furniture back into place for our use even though their work was not done. They planned out their painting discussing the transition walls. One color I picked shown through pink with the sun on it the next morning and they took the paint back to the Benjamin Moore store and had the paint remixed to remove all red from the blend and repainted the wall with no additional charges. I simply can't stop raving about these guys. Everyone of them was superb, talented with their repair work, detailed fireplace and window trim work and care around fragile pieces. They even secured a large mirror to the wall that had loosened over the years. Just awesome!! I can go on but you get the idea. Above them all.

Description of Work: I cannot say enough about Joe Anthony and Majestic Painting. By far the easiest and most satisfying part of our very large project. They are still in the process of de-leading and painting the entire interior and exterior of our long-neglected large 1915 house. Joe's window expert is reglazing all 51 windows and storms and replacing many broken panes. | |Joe is a delight to work with--I just wish I had him as a GC overseeing my whole remodel! He has taken on a variety of unrelated tasks, coordinating w an exterminator, recommending additional contractors for various projects, and using his carpenter to make many cosmetic repairs before painting. His crew is respectful and pleasant, he is extremely responsive and thorough, and in general has shown me that these jobs don't have to be the stressful nightmare is experience so far!

+ 1 moreJoe Anthony is great. Thoughtful, knows his business well, and has an excellent team working for him. The work they do is excellent. One of the best contractors I've ever used. Only complaint is that, like so many others, it can be difficult to reach him when you want to initiate a job. However, once he's committed, he and his team are extremely dilligent and responsive.
Description of Work: Painted the entire interior of our (large) house. Painted the exterior a few years prior.

+ -1 moreI only have a little issue with them. I am still waiting for them to come back to finish some touch ups. They came when they said they would. They were really clean and did not leave any mess when they left. Their quality of work is great.
Description of Work: I have an apartment building of three apartments, six rooms each. I had them paint portions of each apartment. In total they painted six rooms. They used flat latex paint and it took them three days. They prepped the walls with primer.

+ -1 moreI HAD THREE CREWS BID THE JOB. JOE A WAS NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT HIS APPROACH AND DETAILED ATTENTION IMPRESSED ME. VERY GLAD WE CHOOSE HIM GIVEN THE VALUE WE RECEIVED. EXAMPLE: I SWORE BLIND THAT THERE WAS ENOUGH PAINT (HAD 'PLENTY' IN THE ATTIC). WHEN THEY WERE JUST ABOUT FINISHED I COULD NOT FIND THE PAINT. THEY PURCHASED A NEW TINTED CAN AND IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, BUT THEY DID IT ANYWAY. JOE ANTHONY CAME ROUND AND SAID 'NO WAY MY NAME'S GOING BEHIND THIS' AND THEY RE-DID IT AT NO FURTHER EXPENSE TO ME. THE CREW WERE POLITE AND COMMUNICATIVE, AND DID A GREAT JOB OF CLEANING UP AT END OF THE DAY. HE IS SMART AND WELL EDUCATED AND I SUSPECT HE DOES A GREAT JOB ABOUT SETTING WHO HE LETS WORK FOR HIM. SOMETHING OF A RARITY WITH THE CREWS WE HAVE COME ACROSS OVER THE YEARS.
Description of Work: A LARGE EXTERIOR DECK PLUS OTHER EXTERIOR WORK ADDED BECAUSE THEY DID SUCH A GREAT JOB. (THE DECK HAD BEEN PAINTED BY ANOTHER COMPANY THE PREVIOUS YEAR AND THEY HAD DONE A TERRIBLE JOB, IT WAS PEELING, BLISTERING, ETC) THE OWNER IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE BY CELL IF YOU NEED HIM. WE WERE WORRIED ABOUT THE LEAD CHIPPING WITH OUR KIDS AND THEY CLEARED AWAY PRETTY METICULOUSLY EVERY NIGHT.

THEY TOOK GREAT PAINS WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE WORK AND WERE A REAL PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MOST, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY. WE WILL HAVE THEM BACK AGAIN.
