It was fine - very congenial, minimal hassle. Don't know if I could have done any better price wise anywhere else but this was an excellent job.

K and B worked on our house for over three months on a project that should have taken about three weeks. When the dust settles it will have cost us about $5000. to repair the damage done by K and B's substandard work and to repair a flat roof they incorrectly installed (on one portion at the edge of the roof they left a small patch of exposed wood!!!!!!). We also have to replace a gutter helmet and the gutter beneath it both of which they damaged thereby voiding the gutter helmet's lifetime warranty in the process. In addition they plugged up the gutter and down spouts by carelessly allowing materials from the old roof to fall into the gutter causing a major drainage problem on the roof. The water trapped in the gutter and down spouts by the old roofing materials froze over the winter causing them to split their seams. They also punched a hole in a second story double window screen and failed to inform us. We are just now noticing that less than a year later the grout they put between the bathroom floor tiles is cracking and coming loose. K and B made an adjustment on the final bill to cover the damages we found BEFORE they left, which bill we paid. Had we known the real extent of their substandard work and of the damage they actually caused we would have paid them nothing and probably still been out of pocket for all the repairs and replacements needed to clean up the mess they left behind. We are prepared to document all of these damage claims and to document other damages that we have not mentioned here.

K&B Construction is a company owned and operated by Bruce Dubrulle. They do roofing and remodeling. I hired thiscompany for an extensive remodel. Their work has turned out to be substandard as I've had to hire new people to re-do some of their work. They charged for things that they never did and since I'm overseeing this long distance I was not ableto note these things until I saw he'd duplicated the charges on subsequent invoices, he said he would take it off the current invoicebut he never reimbursed me and never did the work. They removed things from the property that didn't belong to them, tools,and materials that I'd paid for. They charged me $2,000. over their original estimate to refinish hardwood floors and then I had to pay someone else an additional $3,000. to come and re-sand and re-polyurethane all 3 coats after they had been paid in full because they did such a horrendous job. To date they owe me for tongue and groove pine paneling that they never delivered but have been paid in full for, $2,400. They won't return emails or phone calls.If I lived nearer to this project I would have been more aware of what they were doing (or not doing) and fired them sooner.

They did not do any work just received the estimate.

Water was getting into our home from the roof- this after having the roof repaired twice. A friend who is a finish carpenter was having K & B Construction quote for a project on his property. Bruce (from K & B Construction) not only came out to our property while vacationing in our neck of the woods, but he had a quote to us in under two hours after leaving! He also gave us a list of referrals and the feedback was excellent. Bruce and his team were prompt, courteous and best of all, found all the problems left by the previous contractor and made the repairs. Two days after the job was completed, Bruce called to check in because he noticed our area was receiving severe thunderstorms, and he wanted to know if there were any leaks. None found! It was a shame that we had to go out of state for a contractor, but it seemed no one local wanted our money. We highly recommend K & B Construction!
