Great selection, pricing and very friendly service. Took a bit longer than I might wish from start to end, but it was worth it.

We picked out a piece of granite for a bar top. The job required cutting a piece 2ft. x 3 ft. No delivery or installation. We were to pick it up. We were told it would take 2 weeks and half of the cost was due - $225.00. We paid. After 12 days, we called to confirm when it would be ready and were told in approximately 2 days and to call back to confirm. We called back the day before and were told it would be ready the next day at 2 PM. We arrived, paid the remaining $225.00 and were told to drive to their work building to pick it up. When we got there, the workmen told us that they had never received a work order and of course it was not ready. We went back to the office and were told that they were sorry but the work order was probably in their truck. They were not concerned with their inefficiency or our being inconvienced. When we made it clear how upset we were they said it could be ready in 2 days. We asked why we had already waited 2 weeks if the job could be done in 2 days. They said they were very busy. We asked for our money back and for the owners name and number. We left a message asking him to return our call and he never did. It was clear that this business did not want or appreciate our business, We would not recommend them to anyone. We called one of their competitors and found the same pattern of granite. They had it ready in 3 days and it cost $325.00 instead of the $450.00. We were not only treated poorly by Rock Solid but apparently would haave been overcharged as well.
