He doesn't charge me anything for some of the little stuff. He just comes over and does it.

In one of his visits, he may change a water filter for me. He'll come in and say it's time to fix my water filters so he's just going to go down and do it.

Ray at Penn Construction previously rescued us by finishing a twp story addition after our first contractor simply vanished. Ray completed the beautiful addition quickly and the finish work was superb! Ray recently built us a 2 story garage and we are very pleased. Definitely recommend Ray and Penn Construction!

Our house was originally constructed in 1864 and presents many unique challenges for service providers. We have used Penn Construction in the past for smaller projects based on their willingness to take on projects others found problematic. When structural and plumbing issues mounted, along with our desire for updated look, Penn was the natural choice to handle this significant home investment. We could not be happier with the finished product and service. Penn Construction was involved with every phase of the kitchen remodel, including design (e.g. addition of an island, opening up the ceiling, etc) and installation of flooring, cabinets, and appliances. Penn Construction remodeled our home and has performed a wide array of improvement and maintenance services since the construction ended. The quality of the work, as well as the price/value relationship, were exceptionally high. A particular strength is the ability to translate design into practical projects that are appropriate to the purpose intended. Existing structures often present hurdles as unexpected conditions arise; Penn was excellent at anticipating and mitigating these inevitable situations. Penn also understands underlying system requirements, like plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, which helps ensure the design/build process proceeds according to plan. Our remodel involved extensive structural change, the installation of high end finishes, the preservation of some existing architectural elements, and coordination of many subcontractors. Penn handled all these elements and managed to minimize the impact on us as home owners. Their standards were very high and consistently maintained over the many months of our construction. My wife especially enjoyed working with Penn because of their cleanliness, courtesy, reliability, and flexibility to accommodate owner wishes and changes. I would recommend Penn Construction without hesitation for projects large and small. Penn takes personal interest in all it's projects and works extremely hard to ensure that the client is satisfied.
