Description of Work: The salesperson was very responsive and the quoted price was excellent. After receiving a written quote, I called twice with questions. I left messages, but he returned neither call. The 3rd time I called he answered his phone. I asked him a question about the materials and process, reading directly from the written estimate. He asked me to "forget what's in writing" (REALLY) and to tell him what he'd told me when he came to the house. When I said I didn't recall, he said he'd call me the next day after he'd had a chance to check his notes. He did not call back. I subsequently retained a higher priced contractor who stood behind his written quote and took the time to answer my questions.

 + -1 moreThe two installers for MAP, Andre and Jose, did a really great job. They were professional, friendly, organized, and surprisingly very neat! This job involved several different areas, with different requirements (into the eaves from outside on the roof, under floorboards of the attic spaces, fiberglass batts on the attic walls, above a ceiling) and they took the time to thoroughly insulate every area really carefully. They also cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and were done in a very reasonable amount of time. Andre was even nice to my frightened cat! They were great, and I plan to let the company know. This job went really well, and I would recommend this company highly.
Description of Work: I had a dormer on my house reshingled in September. While the shingles were off, MAP Insulation installed blown-in cellulose insulation into the exterior walls of the dormer, before the new shingles went on. They also insulated my attic spaces, which required both blown-in cellulose insulation under floorboards and above the ceiling, and fiberglass batts on the vertical surfaces.
