Drywall replaced and cracks in a number of other walls. Also a ceiling where a drywall seam was showing, and now you can’t see it even though it’s not painted yet! Highly recommend! Really nice guy!

We had John and his assistant replace the walls and ceiling in an upstairs bedroom that we had gutted. They did a GREAT job. The new walls are perfect and smooth. The job was done as quick as possible and the price was reasonable. They were friendly and considerate and vacuumed our 2nd floor hallway and stairs every day so it was all very neat and clean when they left. Communication was great when we had to postpone the job due to illness. We will be calling John again for the next room on our project list. He gave us some tips to make this one easier which was very helpful.

John came out to my house the day after I requested an estimate. He gave me a reasonable quote and and the timeframe in which he would be able to start the work. His advise and communication allowed me to finish the required demolition right before he started the job. He showed up right on time with his co-worker and did an excellent job. When he ran into an unexpected issue he called me immediately and went above and beyond to solve the problem that could not have been foreseen. I was so happy with the work that I asked him to come back and drywall and plaster the stairway leading up to the bedrooms so that everything looked like new. We had already scheduled new carpet to be installed before he could start the second job. He was true to his word and showed up a couple weeks later and did another excellent job and we couldn't find one speck of dust on the new carpet when they were done. I would recommend to get an estimate from J&M before making a final decision on who you decide to hire.

John gave me an estimate over the summer after letting me know his schedule wasn't open until fall. After looking at the sagging plaster ceilings in our 1920s house, he recommended covering with drywall, and he did the work in December. John and his colleague did two ceilings in 4 days (about 700 square feet total) and they are a huge improvement. We're already planning to hire him again!

Very Satisfactory. It was refreshing to reach out to a contractor, get an immediate response, a competitive quote within days, and to have the work scheduled in a timely manner. John was very punctual, professional and responsive to our questions. He and his crew member did an excellent job.

I gutted my 1965 kitchen to the studs. J&M Plastering installed wallboard and skim coated my ceilings and walls. The results look like ice. Very smooth. The owner John was professional. I would recommend this Company.

Highly recommend. I had my basement/stairway plastered and ceiling swirled and was very happy with the results. In addition to the great work they did, I was really happy with the experience of working with John. He came out right away to give me a quote and was able to start the job within a few weeks. He was reliable, he communicated with me throughout the project, and was responsive when I had questions. And on top of all that he was fairly priced. Definitely a number I’ll be saving in my contacts in case any future projects come up.

John was amazing! We gutted and remodeled a duplex that was my grandparents home for years (they long passed). After a lot of issues with mold and rot we needed pretty much the entire two floors re-drywalled and plastered. All I can say is John is a master plasterer! He is truly gifted! The walls and ceilings were so smooth and beautifully done that my painting crew and other trades-people all took notice and specifically made comments about the craftsmanship of his work. I cannot say enough about John and his work. I would use him again in a heart-beat and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of repair, replacement or renewal. J & M PLastering just completed a ceiling make over for us within the last 2 weeks. John, the owner, does any type of swirl that you want. In our case, we have half- ramdom swirls that he matched to the rest of the renovated spaces. J & M did a beautiful job and completely finished the job ahead of schedule. They took all precautions as far as keeping kitchen cabinets, fireplace, appliances, etc covered with plastic so the plaster would not splatter on them. Arrived every day on time and worked a completed day. Didn't leave early to do other work on other jobs. Polite and customer friendly.
