I had to leave 12 hours available for the delivery day, and they call the night before to reduce it to 4 hours. I work by appointment, so I lost a whole day's work. First trip. first day I missed work: the plumber could not or would not bring the stove up the stairs, so the first trip was a waste. Nothing happened. Second trip. second day I missed work: the new stove was delivered and left in the kitchen. The delivery guy said the plumber would take to old stove out after he installed the new one. The third trip, the plumber came and installed the new stove and left the old one in the kitchen. Fourth trip. Fourth day I missed work: the delivery guy came to remove the old stove. I lost 4 days of work. I was lied to by the phone people. I must have spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get this stove delivered. The problem was that I was stuck between the plumbing supervisor who said the plumber doesn't move stoves if there are stairs and the delivery supervisor who said that the plumber HAD TO move the stove. Neither would talk to one another. I was stuck in the middle. Very unprofessional phone staff. I was hung up on. I was put on hold and left there. I was told a bunch of lies including, my personal favorite: "It is against federal law to give you a delivery window smaller than 12 hours." I kid you not!
Description of Work: I bought a gas stove that had to be installed by a plumber. In the store, I was told that they had plumbers who would bring the new stove, disconnect my old stove and reconnect the new one and haul away the old stove. For a fee, of course. The fee was something like $150. There in nothing wrong with the stove. Everything that is wrong is about the delivery service.

I absolutely love it and I spent about $3600. My experience was so good that I went back and bought a laptop, desktop and LG TV. We did a lot of business with them, but they did not have stock in and one of the computers I had to go and get in another outlet and I got the LG TV from them. The only thing that wasn’t really good and explained about was if it was supposed to come with those new windows seven or something. They said that I would get it in the mail and I would get the CD and it would just load itself, but it never came. Come to find out a couple of months later after it came out, we were supposed to contact them. One was a Dell and the other was a Hewlett Packard and by the time we did all that it expired, so that wasn’t so good. The computers have worked fine as well as the television. The washer and dryer have the skin and the allergy feature and all kinds of new features. I like them. They have electronics and appliances and it was convenient. I went here I went to another appliance store and had the worst experience with them. Best Buy deliver within 24 to 48 hours and you can choose. The place is clean, neat and easy to get around. The thing with their employees is that they don’t make commission and are all on salary on hourly wage. It is not a hard sale and if you have a question they go out of their way to answer it and do the best they can. They were very good at delivering and set up. They were clean, neat and courteous. I think their price is good and if you look around you never find that their prices are higher than anywhere else. They sent someone out because the machine was un-level and told me that it was probably going to happen every 6 months and was not the floor but the old house. They said to just keep calling them and they would keep sending someone out. They showed up on time with everything they needed. They were professional both in the store and the representatives that came out.
Description of Work: I bought an LG washer and dryer from Best Buy at the end of September or early October.

The overall experience was very positive. We had a very helpful sales associate who spent lots of time with us discussing the pros and cons of different computers. He shared his own positive experience with HP, which helped seal the decision. He also took time to figure out a financing arrangement that would work for us. We arranged for Geek Squad set-up and maintenance service, and the person who came to install the system was very professional and did a great job. My only gripe is with the financing. We were kind of suckered into a payment protection plan along with the basic financing, which effectively doubled our interest rate. I figured this out a few months into it and canceled that extra insurance, but I'm annoyed that they kind of slipped it in under our noses when making the sale. We wouldn't have gone for it if we had been asked directly.
Description of Work: We purchased an HP desktop computer, monitor, and printer, along with a warranty and Geek Squad service.
