FOXX FENCE

Ten years ago, I contacted a fence guy I found with the last name Barboza. He showed up in a truck driven by an older man (who turned out to be his father) with the name Foxx Fence. I gave a 33% deposit for a $3,000 fence job. When I tried to contact Mr Barboza he was not to be found. A friend of his called me back and said he had left town. Luckily, I remembered the name Foxx Fence, but couldn't find any online presence for Foxx Fence at that time. I was also fortunate that a friend of my wife knew him as Al was a customer of hers. I found him in public records and showed up at his house. He almost crapped his pants when he saw me. He did offer to eat the $1,000 that his son scammed me out of - after I threatened to turn his son into the police. Which was a problem for Al as his other son is a New Bedford police detective. When Al from Foxx Fence showed up he installed a fence that has not lasted 10 years. Over the past three years different section have blown over due to poor installation. Al also ended up charging me an extra $500 so I still lost money and time on this ordeal. A side note to the installation - while he here installing the fence, two people noticed his truck and commented that he screwed them too. If you don't mind getting screwed - call Foxx Fence!

They charged me for the "free" estimate. Then they used old and used parts to replace our fence that is only 6 years old. The rest of the fence is in better condition than what they used to replace it. AND we left slats that were still in good condition and clean white so they might use them and they did not. All the slats are stained and dirty. They charged me $12655.00 for these 3 sections. This is the very last time I use this company. The only reason I did was because they installed the fence. Their advertisement when the new fence went up was they would never add to the estimated price when they initially installed the fence BUT he added almost $2000.00 to the bill because his workers complained they had to go through woods. Should never have called them for this... Live and learn. Insurance did not cover the damage since there was a $1000.00 deductible.

Al and his company installed a fence at my home. I was a large area to fence in. Al and his company were honest, reasonable, onetime, and diligent. The fence is beautiful, and I get compliments regularly.
