I was very satisfied and impressed with Mr. Bedford's approach, work ethic and job results. He was very upfront about possible unforeseen issues that might be found during the repair effort and always kept me informed about the overall progress of the job. When we had a vacation fall in the middle of the job he adjusted his work to accommodate our trip. There are were no surprises and everything was spelled out via contract and itemized billing forms. I would not hesitate to go to him for any future product and will refer his company to all my contacts.

It all went very well. the project was estimated at 8 to 10 weeks and all was done in just over 8 weeks, would probably have been sooner but my dogs tried to help a bit and thought some of his tools made great new toys. Bob was always on time and very neat. At the end of the day his work area was immaculate, something my wife appreciated greatly. We will be using BEDFORD BUILDERS REMODELING in the future. I highly recommend using Bob for your next project.

Because go a significantly high proposal I wasted my time meeting with him. It was not a fair price proposal

Bedford Builders is extremely professional and very easy to work with. When determining what type of flooring I wanted to go with on this project, Bedford Builders costed out all of the options for me, and discussed the pro's and cons of each one. When a change was required, the work order was quickly adjusted and every thing was put into writing and signed off by both parties. I knew up front what the cost of the project would be. If anything caused a change to the cost they would call me first to ensure that I approved the change before proceeding. We were under a time constraint because the house was on the market and being shown even as work was progressing, Bedford Builders was very flexible in scheduling work and helped me tremendously by getting the job done as quickly as possible so that the house would be sold in a timely manner. They take pride in their workmanship, and it shows. The finished results are very high quaility. I will call Bedford Builders again when I need carpentry or remodeling work done. I highly recommend them.

This was a big job. We were intent on the highest quality and Bob exceeded our highest expectations. A superlative craftsman intent on delivering perfection and he did. He kept us informed every step of the way and there were no surprises. We look forward to working with Bob again for phase II of our home renovation. Bob from Bedford Builders could not have been any more professional. We had been looking to have a large number of old windows replaced in our home, and wanted someone who we felt would work on our home like it was their own. Bedford Builders was that company. From the very first meeting, Bob never beat around the bush. He explained everything with great detail, including what our options were with cost and materials. Too many contractors look to cut corners and cheat the system, but we wanted someone who would do things right and by the book. As relatively new home owners, he took the time to make us feel like we were his number one priority. He always returned phone calls and arrived on time whenever we were scheduled to meet. Everything from the ordering of and delivery of materials ran smoothly and as scheduled. He took the time to make sure our house and belongings were well taken care of before performing any work, and always cleaned up at the end of his work day. We have quite a few decent sized projects coming up in the future, including renovating our kitchen and a bathroom, and Bedford Builders is first on our list. We will definitely be hiring them again in the future.

Very knowledgeable and professional. If I was doing a large remodel I would have taken him into consideration. Factually, I had to have a one piece shower/tub replaced and figured the bathroom could use some updates. After having several unsuccessful meetings with contractors, I ended up doing the remodel myself for approximately 2,000. Which included a new vanity, tub, tiled floor and tile shower walls, paint, crown moulding and a ceiling light and exhaust fan with new wiring. I explained my budget and my ideas upon his arrival to my house. bluntly stating that I don't want to waste his time and I don't want my time wasted. Other reviews have fore warned his high prices. The simplicity of my project began to made into a more severe job. I feel he does not do small jobs and was trying to bait a bigger fish by stopping by my house. I have this feeling because he found several ways to inflate the cost. The talk of permits and lead testing all seem to be white smoke to make you feel comfortable in dealing with a legit contractor when the true agenda is nickel and dimming customers. I never received an actual quote, I received a phone call stating stating that my bathroom was basically going to be a full gut remodel and he wasn't going to be in my budget. Just for recollection purposes, all I wanted was a one piece shower removed and replaced. Something is up when a job that cost me 2,000 in materials alone was going to cost upwards of 15-20,000 for a "full gut remodel". I'm sure if adding an addition or a garage, he is the guy to contact because he does have a high attention for detail. But for a simple quick remodel, I feel he is pre-occupied with higher clients and does not have the time for small projects. Which I would have been fine with if that honesty was forthright.

About 5 years ago Bedford Builders did a complete kitchen bath remodel. We were involved in the planing process from begining to end. Because we live in a 100 year old house that is not even close to being level or square there were some "chalanges" presented with the the changes we wanted. Mr. Bedford was very helpfull with suggestions for us to achieve our desired results. We knew what the cost was before we started the job and the time frame involved. There were several times during the renovation when we decided to make some additional changes, and we knew at that time how these changes would impact the price and the completion date. The renovation was completed on time and for the price agreed upon. In 2012 we wanted to build an unattached gararge. Because we were very happy with the results of the kitchen / bath remodeling job provided by Bedford Builders a few years earlier we called upon them again for this project. After going over what we wanted, Mr. Bedford made suggestoins for different ways and prices to achieve our goal. Again once we decided on what we wanted we knew what the cost was and the time frame involved. This project was also completed on time and on budget.

I very much appreciate the time contractors invest in discussing and estimating prospective jobs. This is a very valuable process for customers. I know I learn from each and every contact. This was certainly true in the case of Bob Bedford and I want to acknowledge that by writing this review. I would certainly consider Bedford Builders for future work.

Bob was very, very patient with my lack of knowledge. He has offered me several options. I haven't had him start the work yet, but he has been wonderful in the initial contact process.

Bob promptly responded to my request to fix a problem by a previous contractor who had done some remodeling work in my family room leaving a cable line damaged behind a newly installed wall. Not only was Bob very professional in his work, he was also most courteous and meticulous while on the job. I knew he was very honest and completed the job in a timely fashion exactly as he had described. I would not hesitate to contract for his services in the future and would highly recommend him to others.

Our business has been using Bob's services for years. We were extremely pleased with the craftsmen ship of Bedford Builders when it came down to building our changing rooms. His attention to detail in the woodwork really gave the area the definition and ambiance we were looking for. He is a true tradesman! The solid custom made stepping blocks for customers to stand on for alterations were great...we never had to worry about the block platforms being unsteady. The tailoring tables were also custom made. They were remarkably well made and sized perfectly for measuring out fabrics. When we were faced with the problem of our sliding doors being smashed, Bob was able to quickly take all the measurements required and had a new door installed immediately! What a relief that was...considering we had a huge hole in our building at that point . Bob not only fixed the problem, but gave us the sense that when our business needed him...he was there. Impressive work , professionalism , honest and respectable pricing for high quality work! He always uses the best materials that last. We still call Bob for contracting needs and will definitely continue to use Bedford Builders in the future. We highly recommend Bob. We trust his experience and thoroughness in his assessments on the jobs...his work speaks for itself!!

Bob, owner of Bedord Builders always is professional, neat, timely and honest. Bob gave us a quote after he asked to take a look under the panel of the window to make sure the old framing and wood around the window was good. If mold or rot was found he would need to replace the wood and he would include it in the quote. He and his staff were timely. Bob always leaves his worksite clean at the end of the day! Bob is a true carpenter and his finish work is superior! The window was in within a day and the finished work outside and in was done by the end of the week as promised. From the outside it looks like the window was always there and inside the newly painted wall and window frame match perfectly with the rest of the room.

My working experience with Bob was great. I was single female and a homeowner. He made sure I was always comfortable with all my decisions. I was apprehensive trying to find a contractor because I was afraid I would be taken advantage of. He would present me with all my options and offer his opinions for what he could do. Often times his recommendations were not the most expensive choice but the one that made the most sense and I appreciated that greatly. His skills were also shown in full when he helped reconfigure my small bathroom which barely had enough room for one person alone. He fixed the floor, moved the wall, added a new sink, toilet, drop ceiling, and a fan. These changes may seem simple but it was in a 500 square foot two bedroom apartment! After it was done I could still sit and eat in my kitchen! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He is trustworthy, efficient, knowledgeable, and a true pleasure to work with.

I first met Bob after I purchased my home and wanted to replace 7 windows. That job went so smoothly I decided to hire him again to do my kitchen remodel. I had a galley kitchen with zero counter space, my microwave filled up he entire counter. Bob designed a new kitchen. He knocked down a wall and built a wrap around kitchen bar. He did a great job with the tile back splash we went with. He worked with us through out the design process all the way through completion. He was always on time and always cleaned up after the work day....if you have ever tried to live through a kitchen remodel you will appreciate this, especially when you are in a small house and the kitchen is in the center. I was very happy the project stayed on budget and most importantly on time.
