Needed a dependable, detailed, solution oriented contractor to help get my home together after water damage and found Bob - Bedford Builders. Better than I could do even if I had the time to manage it myself

Bedford builders work is spectacular!! If you want honesty about the issues so they are actually corrected then this is the company. They are professional and clean. They were able to finally correct 2 years of leaks from one issue or another regarding my kitchen sink. Finally! We were able to match cabinets and counters to the originals to add in my kitchen which makes the work look seamless and as if it was all done at once. Also added some additional electric to the island area which is a great improvement while creating a custom made pedestal base to support a granite overhang. It’s goegeous! While at the house during the estimate he noticed that the exhaust vent for our furnace was quit low to the ground and with New England winters we were concerned about it getting buried in storms which can cause that exhaust to be trapped. They heightened the pipe and now we can sleep at night not worried about snow covering it and endangering my family. They also addressed a poorly installed window and have corrected shoddy work by the original builders. We will absolutely use them for work needed going forward. We needed not just “ quick fix’s” that many repair people / contractors will charge for and not really fix. We are so pleased and finally feel confident in a company who seriously has the expertise, honesty, and know how to get to the root of a problem and then provide you with beautiful finish work. Amazing! It’s so hard to find what you need in a contractor.. we have learned that you get what you pay for and finding the right professional contractor for our needs has been WELL WORTH IT! It's difficult to find a contractor who is trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable about their craft. In fact, most contractors have a reputation of being "shady". Bob and his team could not be more opposite than that. Bob and his team replaced five windows in our home and I found Bob to stay true to his word throughout the entire process. I never once questioned the completion of the job or the quality of the work. Having people come into your home can be pretty invasive and Bob and his team were extremely respectful of our home and were pleasant to converse with. I would undoubtedly recommend Bob for any remodel project and I am certainly planning on working with him in the future.

When I had some water damage in my basement I called Bedford Builders right away not even sure if they could help. Bob went right to work to identify the problem and assist in resolving it. Bob was prompt, courteous and meticulous. I would consider Bedford Builders for any project or disastrous situation that’s comes next!

We met with 3 contractors and spoke with 2 others on the phone. After meeting with Bob Bedford, we felt that Bob's attention to detail and experience was what we wanted for our project. Bedford Builders' work is by the book and is done to current building codes. Amazing. Bob and his team were fantastic! I am extremely happy with the results. Bob was honest and helpful on creating a perfect design that met the functional and limited space. His team was also very professional and kind. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Bob Bedford and his employees bring the highest level of professionalism to everything they do. Bob will probably not be your lowest bidder, but for the money, you get someone who knows how to do things the right way, keeps in touch, and hires people you’re happy to have working in your home for weeks. A kitchen remodel is a big stressful project so it helped that Josh and Caleb are nice guys! I also appreciated their attention to detail and pride in their work. My only complaint is that a couple of times I was pressured to make unexpected decisions quickly. This may been partly my fault for not knowing better (too complicated to explain). I would advise you to make all your key choices — such as countertops and paint — as far ahead of time as you can. It all worked out in the end and I love my new kitchen!

I have worked with contractors for more than 20 years and my experience with Bedford Builders was, by far, the best. The work was done on time, on budget, and with a very close attention to detail. The billing process was very refreshing. Every invoice had the dates, hours worked, and work performed. During the work, our family was experienced a medical emergency and the Bedford Builders team could not have been more kind or accommodating. They even installed some grab bars in our shower as a last minute change order to ensure our family member was safe upon return from the hospital. Through all of this, I must say I love the final products for both projects and plan to hire them again for future work. They are not the cheapest remodeling outfit, but you get what you pay for. Be sure to get on their project list early as they are in high demand.

The team was great. They were punctual and available via phone as the project developed. Many on the fly decisions were required and consultations were frequent and helpful. Inspections were smooth and quick and the project was completed on time before the weather got cold. They were slightly expensive but very worth every penny. I recommend this contractor to anyone.

Superior! Bedford Builders renovated 2 bathrooms in our home. We had never gone through a full renovation before and Bedford Builders put our fears to rest. Caleb, Josh, and Bob are a great team. They led us through the process and kept us consistently informed. Our bathrooms are perfect and we couldn’t be happier. I must specifically mention the quality of this team. All are the most courteous individuals we’ve ever encountered. It could not have been a smoother process. We highly recommend the team.

Bob provided a very detailed estimate and spelled out all of the variables; which was helpful because there are always unknowns in any remodeling project. I’ve also had the opportunity to observe Bob’s work up close and his attention to detail and craftsmanship is unequaled. He’s also very conscientious about maintaining a clean and tidy job site.

I had massive water damage from the 2018 winter. I was referred to Bob Bedford by the kiss mitigation specialist and I really am grateful for that. In an industry where this is NOT the norm, Bob was responsive, candid about extent of damage, knowledgeable about the insurance process and incredibly communicative and honest. This propriety is a seasonal home over an hour away, so having someone I trusted in the house without me there, or showing up when he said I would, is a bit of a leap of faith. Bob and his crew were true to their word of when get would be onsite, what timing I should expect, and completely respectful of my property (and my time). They are also the cleanest and most organized contractors I’ve ever seen. The invoicing experience was easy and thorough at the same time - detailed invoices sent via text link. My experience was absolutely positive and - despite the circumstances that introduced us - pleasant and easy. Would recommend Bedford Builders without hesitation.

Bob stayed late with a plumber so that we would not be left without water overnight. Our kitchen was completed on-time and on-budget. Talking to others who hired other companies, I know this doesn’t always happen. We are happy to recommend Bedford Builders to anyone. We will say it again, they are the best!

Bob Bedford and the great guys from Bedford Builders worked on my Dad’s house this past winter. Bob was very quick to respond to our initial request for him to view my Dad’s house and provide him with a quote. He was extremely patient when walking his home with us, as we discussed options and ideas. He took great notes, and provided my Dad with a detailed quote quickly. I was hoping for a rather specific timeframe, as I was about to have another baby, and it would have been easier to remodel without any of his grandkids in the house. He was very understanding and was able to start the job exactly when we needed. Bob and his team were so very organized and professional from day one, and this carried on throughout the entire project. The kitchen and bathrooms had not been fully remodeled in over 50 years, so it was more than a typical renovation. The kitchen and two bathrooms had to be completely gutted and rebuilt. The kitchen remodel involved relocating the refrigerator and taking a piece of a wall away, installing recessed lighting, crown molding, reworking sink and oven locations, adding a dishwasher and widening the entrance to the kitchen. They also took their time and did an amazing job with the very detailed floor tile pattern. All new cabinets and hardware were installed, and Quartz countertops and a stone backsplash were also installed to perfection. Both the master bath and guest bath were also completely gutted to the studs. Both bathroom remodels required reworking of the existing footprint by removing a closet to open up the bathroom more, and expanding a bit into the existing wall to create a larger master shower. Both bathrooms had exceptional custom tile work in the showers, counter work and cabinets. They also completed beautiful woodwork were needed on the first floor and master bath. Bob was extremely patient throughout the process, and always made sure to explain all of the steps along the way. If an issue arose, he explained it thoroughly and provided an option for a resolution. I absolutely cannot say enough about the QUALITY of the work that was provided by Bob and his team. They are the epitome of professionalism and caring about the quality of their work. We would absolutely recommend Bob Bedford and Bedford Builders to anyone for any size project or remodel.

Bob and his team did a great job and exceeded our expectations. We had three external doors and two storm doors replaced in our home. They went to great lengths to ensure that the quality of the work was exceptional, they met promised schedules, there was no damage to any of the internal walls or floors and that we were completely satisfied. The team was very easy to deal with and made sure that we weren’t inconvenienced.

If you are looking for a true professional who is very attentive to detail, then Bob Bedford is the man for you.Once he starts the job, he does not stop in the middle and go to another job, he is there until it is completed. Any phone call inquiries that I would make were answered right away, if not the answer came in a timely manner. A daily summary was sent with every invoice explaining the day by day progress, while he was on the project. Bob was on site most of the time but the rare occasion that he was not the workers that he used were very professional and did the job as if he were there.They were very hard workers and meticulous just like Bob. The Plumber was another outstanding gentleman. He did a remarkable job,and would not install any plumbing fixtures until the correct parts were in his hands.

Bedford builders did wonderful job. My condo looked brand new! It was a big job and I needed the job done quickly ...they got the job done as promised. The company was very professional and I felt confident in their ability...and I was right. Worth every cent...

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the work Bob did for us--replacing and finishing our front entry door system. We choose a wooden door and sidelights. After he and another person (sorry, I forgot his name) installed it, Bob finished the door, being careful to follow the guidelines specified by the warranty. It all turned out beautifully. Bob was very straightforward about what would be required and provided us with a detailed estimate. Since our house is close to 100 years old, he let us know that there could be unforeseen complications once the old doorway was torn out, which we appreciated. Fortunately, no complications arose. Finally, Bob was pleasant to work with, knowledgeable, and very professional from start to finish. I highly recommend him.

I and my family always hire Bob for any services he does and we need (over a period now of 14 years) . In fact, I am calling him to ask his advice about who to hire for jobs other than the kind of jobs his business performs. He is so likeable and down-to-earth. I give him the highest recommendation.

Bob adjusted his busy schedule and squeezed in the time to meet me at the property, even though it was outside of his typical geographic area. He was on-time and gave me a thorough assessment to consider before making an offer on the home. I cannot thank him enough for his support and recommend him highly for any job large or small.

It went great. Bob was by far the most expensive of the people who gave me estimates, but I know I made the right choice. He is a true professional who goes the extra mile to get things right. Consider how he conducted himself: --provided detailed invoices specifying the work done and the cost of each item. --listened to what I wanted and adjusted accordingly; asked for my input often. --always did what he said he would do. --was always easily reached by text or email. --kept me apprised of the progress, with almost daily texts. --kept everything clean and orderly. --was mindful of costs, but did not cut corners. --came back readily to fix little things after the project was done. In the end, the project came in UNDER BUDGET because, at my request, Bob worked hard to preserve the floor, avoiding the cost of replacing it. Because of an unforeseen problem, the baseboard heater had to be replaced. Bob did not charge me for that, saying he should have foreseen the problem. That's when I was sure I had found the right guy. The people who worked with Bob were as pleasant and considerate as he is. And my bathroom looks beautiful. My only disappointment was really the fault of the supplier that Bob referred me to. She sold me a tub whose color was far off. It was supposed to be white and was actually beige. The manufacturer labeled the tub "white" but it's not. The bath supply store surely knew the tub wouldn't match the vanity, but considered me a low-priority customer. It was already installed by the time I could see it was wrong. A word to the wise: Be careful selecting your products.
