+ -1 moreTom did a very impressive job removing a very large and distressed maple branch that was located high above several wires and cables going into the house. He also removed several branches overhanging the roof. The crew was very efficient and cleaned up beautifully. They were able to schedule me between some local jobs within the area. The work was professionally done and the quote was very reasonable.

+ -1 moreThe three people worked very efficiently and got the job done fast. Clean up of brush was less than anticipated but they cut lengths of logs for us to keep for fireplace burning. Very easy to work with.
Description of Work: Took down 3 trees and trimmed others. And took away 3 large chunks of a trunk.

+ -1 moreIt took about a month after the quote was given for the company to contact us for a date/time to do the work. After getting an appointment the workers showed up on time, worked steadily and finished the work to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: pruned an old dogwood tree and fertilized it. Also ground down 3 (three) tree stumps.

+ -1 moreArrived on time (7:30am) and went right to work. Completed our job and also took down a neighbor's tree next door. All completed by 2:30PM. Cleaned up, raked the area. Good work. They will complete the remainder of our work once we move our boat out of the way...(too close to the trees). Note: these were fairly big trees, oak and maple. The price would have been higher, but we wanted the wood. They left medium to large lengths for us.
Description of Work: Remove 7 trees and grind stumps for 4. The remainder of the work (another 6-7 trees to be completed in approx 2 weeks)

+ -1 moreDo be sure that the all the personnel working on the project wear the proper safety equipment; safety shoes, ear protection, face shield, eye protection and work gloves
Description of Work: Someone from the company visited and his price was reasonable for the work requested-or ~$500 less than another service. The tree to be cut down was protected by Providence RI ordinance and the AT owner was unable to convince the city forester to grant permission. The tree was rotting it its crotch and was a candidate for removal. Later-after hurricane Irene-some of the tree was damaged & permission to remove the tree was granted. I chose another company as I thought the AT people would not want to deal with this again.

+ -1 moreAdvanced Tree showed up with three trucks and four men. It took them about 3 or 4 hours to complete the job. The job was well done and I would recommend them. Jim knows trees, he also knew not to drive his big trucks onto my new driveway, that made the job more difficult but they responded favorably to every one of my concerns. I gave them a "B" on responsiveness because we had some issues scheduling. I insisted on being home for the event and they had to cancel once due to unforeseen circumstances.
Description of Work: I had one tree about 20 feet tall and grossly overgrown that needed to be trimmed away from my house and my neighbors.

They are very knowledgeable as arborists, and made great suggestions on what trees to save and what to remove due to disease, etc. We just bought a house which left much to be desired in the whole "land maintenance" category. They perform the work quickly and use all proper safety equipment, which is imperative for this type of work. They are flexible and fair in pricing the job.
Description of Work: Removed approximately 9 trees from my property, as well as old shrubs around the house.
