Description of Work: The provider called my daughter at 9PM when she was out to dinner with friends and was rude. I then received an email, through Angie's List, saying that the ball was in my court. Very unprofessional.

Description of Work: Inspected basement and identified cause of recent flooding. Discussed a fairly simple remediation should the problem persist.

Description of Work: Spent over a month trying to schedule foundation inspection with this provider. Finally suggested it not being a good fit and was assured I'd be contacted by his foreman to schedule a time, I was incredibly flexible and there was just no follow through on his part. I can not comment on quality of work but would not feel comfortable scheduling work with Someone who was so bad at scheduling and communication.

Description of Work: Curt and his crew provided the service of mold remediation and installation of a vapor barrier in our crawl space. Our crawl space is about 26×36 and only about 3 feet high. This job required a layor of plywood to be removed because the mold penetrated through the first layor. This was a very labor intensive job. It required Curt and his crew to work on their backs to remove the layer of plywood because the space is only 3 feet high. The day they did the job was also one of the hottest, most humid days of the summer. Curt responded to my inquiry on the same day I contacted Real Dry, and he was at our house the very next day to evaluate the space and what we needed. I knew immediately that he knew what he was doing and that he would do a great job. He had a quote for us in under 48hrs and was at our house 2 days after that to start the job. They completed the job in one day. Real Dry exceeded our expectations because of the quality of their work, their professionalism, their timeliness, and their extremely reasonable price. We thought our quote could have potentially been double what it was. We are so happy we found Curt from Real Dry. I would highly recommend Curt and his crew. We are very greatful and appreciative of his hard work, and the hard work of his crew.

Description of Work: My century old house had only 1 support for an important beam, and it was an old tree. Real Dry replaced the tree trunk with 3 new lally columns, adjusted to level the beam, which corrected to door jams on the first floor. Now the doors close and latch. The brickwork in the basement had deteriorating mortar on two walls. The crew removed the bricks and old mortar and did the appropriate repair work. They also examined the exterior drainage system. All work was completed in 1 day. I did not expect the work to be done so quickly, so I needed their assistance in moving stuff out of the basement to get to one of the walls. The crew was very helpful and very professional. It was a pleasure to have them work on my home.

Description of Work: They put a French drain down in my cellar. They were knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. Because my land has a very high water table, they had to come back numerous times to adjust the height of the pump. They came back whenever I asked them to. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: They resolved our moisture issue in an unfinished/dirt basement. The dug down/ redid french drain, leveled floor, put in new sum-pump, and poured concrete. We worked mostly with Curt, one of the owners. He was great, and would recommend him to anyone. His crew worked hard and he made sure everything was up to par. We did have contact with his partner a few times, and he lacked professionalism and tack. | |Note: They were not the most inexpensive quote, but Curt's experience and knowledge was worth paying more.

Description of Work: I spoke with Curt and scheduled an appt for him to assess my basement. He never showed and never called. I gave him a pass because it had snowed, a lot. Rescheduled with him for a week later and again he never showed and did not call to say that he wasn't coming. I don't care how busy someone is, if I took the time to research a business and call for an appointment and they can not keep the commitment, a simple call to say they are not coming is all I ask. It's unprofessional and disrespectful. I guess he doesn't need the work if he can simply blow off two appointments and not feel the need to notify the consumer. I took my business else where.

Description of Work: My self-installed sump was draining down my driveway, causing winter icing issues. Curt rerouted the outlet, so that it went underground around a corner of the house and into a new drywell. He also recognized the need for a freeze guard where the outlet goes underground and installed it. Everything looked ship shape when I got home and the sump seems to be operating and draining as it should. As a bonus, Curt wasn't condescending about my DIY sump job! I didn't give a cost rating because I didn't solicit alternative bids and I have no idea how to rank Real Dry's prices.

Description of Work: Excavated, installed swale drain and bladder, drain pipe, terminated pipe into catch basin, connected three downspouts. Did pointing and parge work on exposed foundation. Re-graded rear foundation area. | |Did an excellent job. Completed the job in 2 days with many workers. No water infiltration as of last major rain storm.

Description of Work: Curt the owner built a drainage system under my deck (around a bulkhead) and in the front of the house. Curt was very knowledgable and was onsite for the work. His team did a great job in rough conditions. They showed up onetime and were always professional. Curt has called/emailed me to check on any issues. He then came out when I had the bulkhead replaced to make sure his work was still in place.
