Description of Work: I had a broken Spring on my garage door. This was determined during the first visit. The part needed to be ordered. They were not able to complete repair during their second visit due to miscommunication between coworkers. The work was then completed during the third visit.

+ -1 moreOwner Rick Walker made it easy to do business. He either answered the phone himself or returned calls very promptly. He was informative and patient about giving explanations and options. When I called because his installer had forgotten a couple of small but important items (install a handle at the bottom of the door; make sure the door lock worked), Rick came by within an hour and corrected everything. Competent, professional, honest and prompt - I'd use him again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Coastal Overhead Door replaced an old manually-operated, uninsulated garage door with a new one, as follows: new 8 x 9 foot garage door; new springs; new cross-bar lock. Kept and used the existing track for the door.

+ -1 moreOverall it went well. Coastal was very professional and prompt in estimating the work and their price was comparable. They were also very responsive to questions. The installer arrived right on time and did a good job. There was a problem with the trim sealing around the door which I didn't notice until the installer left. Coastal showed up the very next day to correct it. Very happy with the door. The slightly lower quality rating is because the trim work needed more attention.

Description of Work: Because our garage door faces the street, we had spent many weeks trying to decide on the perfect design to complement our house. We had searched numerous large companies that supply "cookie cutter" designs and were not satisfied with anything we saw. While driving one Sunday afternoon, we spotted the exact door we wanted. With the owners permissikon, we took a photo and called Overhead Door. It turned out that they had made that particular door and gave us an estimate on duplicating it for our application.

+ 0 moreEverything went great. I called and left a voicemail message to request a quote and they called me back first thing the next morning and came out according to my schedule. I got the quote the next day, signed and returned the day after that and a week later I had my new doors installed. They cleaned everything up, informed me of what they were doing along the way, all-in-all a great experience and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Removed 2 50-year-old wood garage doors and installed 2 new insulated garage doors. Squared openings (were arched), replaced trim, hauled away all waste.
