Garry Garland of Century Roofing returned my inquiry call within 2 hours of my phone call. A written estimate detailing materials and any possible concerns with roof, chimney etc were clearly outlined and provided within 48 hours. His communication over the phone to answer any questions I had was prompt, professional and friendly. One week later Garry's crew (working together 9 years!) were waiting at my driveway at 6:30AM, dumpster arrived a half hour later and the crew got to work. By the end of the day, all work was completed. Clean yard and dumpster removed. The crew and their foreman were polite, industrious and careful working around my plantings and gardens.Roof looks great and I am a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend Century Roofing and will work with them again for future home care needs.

It went great.

Garry Garland was the guy who did the work for us. He was very thorough. He was very comprehensive. We have a rubber roof on that building there were not lot of people who would do that. We started out with a leak that he found out and identified. He did lot of extra work to take care of because it involved some siding issues with the caulking. He just did very nice assignment and a good job. Then helped us out with some advice on the estimate on another siding issue we had. He was always free with his advice and spent lot of time with us. He was also very prompt and was there exactly when he told he was going to be there. He finished exactly when he told he was going to finish. They did everything they told they were going to do and charged us exactly what they told they were going to charge. We were planning to use them again for the siding issues which we have for this year. I really liked him.

Overall the job went without a hitch. If there was a hitch I certainly didn't see one! I also got progress updates and photos of areas that they had to pay extra special attention to. I was very impressed.

The Century crew arrived early and worked more than 12 hours to finish the project in one day. Never have I seen contractors work so hard. They were professional and polite, and explained everything to me in great detail. They used top quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail - not only is the sealant around the old chimney flashing and other roof punctures tight and complete, but neatly done with no drips or mess though it is barely visible from the ground. The shingles are in perfect rows even though the house is so old that nothing is even close to square. Cleaning up could have been a bit more thorough, but I don't fault them much since it was quite dark by they time they finished. And the real test: recently with more than two feet of snow and a lot of rain on top of that there was no leaking and no ice dams.
