+ 0 moreI emphatically urge you to avoid Richard Kumpel (RBK Enterprises). My partner and I hired Richard for a gut-reno of our home. We are currently in the process of taking Richard to court. He disappeared several months ago, with work still incomplete and with over $20,000 of our money, which we had pre-paid him for that work. We have also discovered that Richard violated code in several instances and we are in the process of filling a complaint with the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety against his contractor license.

+ -1 moreI see 3 top rating reviews for these guys. They must all be faked. Richard Benny Kumpel (RBK) is in the wind with $21,500 of my money and I haven't heard from him since. One of the reasons I went with him is the top rating that he apparently has with Angies List and HomeAdvisor. I am here to tell you he's a fraud. Don't hire him! I am trying to track him down. If you don't believe me, try looking him up online. The man is a ghost. I wish I had done more research into him, but part of the issue for me is that I assume Angies List vetted the people that show up on their site as providers, but they don't.
Description of Work: Contracted full reno of a condo. They demoed the baths and then disappeared

+ -1 moreIt was one of the most pleasant experiences we had with a contractor. Rich is very professional and responsive. The quote was very reasonable and detailed. The crew came 7:30 am and worked nonstop until 5pm and finished the job in 2 days. They cleaned the surrounding spotless and even removed the leaves in the yard. Will definitely hire them again, and recommend them to others, without hesitation.

+ 5 moreRich at RBK is amazing. Not only did he finish the work in a timely manner, he cared about the finer details of everything he did. There was nothing that he touched that didn't come out incredible. They are extremely fair and honest which is hard to find with this type of work. I plan on using them over and over again for any projects i have in the future. A++ work
Description of Work: I needed a lot of carpentry work done on my house along with high end custom build outs. I bought a foreclosure and the house needed a complete renovation.

+ 6 moreThe quality of the work was great. They never failed to show up on the job. RBK worked well with my other hired trades (plumber/electrician). I have recommended them to other friends.
Description of Work: RBK handled the renovation of two apartments of mine. It was a complete gut job that required on the job quick decisions. Some demo, framing, window installation, insulation, sheet rocking, plastering, tile work, Hard wood floor install, painting, finish work.
