Platinum Plumbing Heating and Drain Cleaning

Very well, had to come back once wall was repaired, made sure job looked great

I went to turn on our heating system and it wouldn't turn on. I also noticed there was water dripping from a heater pipe. I called Platinum and Robert responded to my call within the half hour. We scheduled a time for him to come the next day and he was able to fix the heater quickly. As our system is pretty old, he also took the time to discuss options for potentially replacing it and also showing me different parts on the system that might need to be replaced if we didn't want a new system. He also looked at another plumbing project I was thinking about while he was there. About 15 minutes after he left, I realized I had forgotten to mentioned the dripping pipe. I called him to ask if I should be concerned. He immediately turned around, came and assessed the problem, and fixed it with no additional cost. I would highly recommend and plan on using Platinum for any future plumbing needs.

He was on time and did his work quickly and efficiently. He was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to while he was working. He installed a comfort height, round seat, Koelher Cimmaron Toilet with a slow closing toilet seat. I would definitely call him again.

I had a toilet replaced in January 2016. I felt the price of $525 was a bit high, but I was happy with the work done and professionalism shown. However, a bit over a year later, a hairline crack appeared in the toilet bowl. While it is not (yet) leaking, the crack is getting bigger. I contacted the plumber who did the work, and he told me his warranty had expired, but he would contact the manufacturer to see what they said. I never heard back from him. I put a piece of Flex Tape over the crack, but I'm sure I'll have to replace the toilet soon.

It started off well. Called the guy, set up an appointment, and he showed up. He was very professional and I was looking forward to working with him. He took a look at my problem and said he would call me back with a game plan. Well, that was a month ago, and he never called me back. If my job was too complex or not something he wanted to do, I wish he could have called to tell me that.

Great. This was a tough job. The original part was unavailable and only the faucet only accessible through a very tight crawlspace. I had a hard time even getting other Angie's List plumbers with A ratings to return my call - I can only assume due to the part that needed replacing. The price was very reasonable and less than competitors.

Robert is amazing. He will come give a free estimate, so you always know what you're signing up for. We had a rocking toilet that several other plumbers had failed to fix, and he quickly figured out the issue and resolved it. He also figured out a strange issue with the water pressure for our kitchen faucet, including replacing the shutoff valves and installing a new faucet. When our basement was flooding and we couldn't figure out why, he was the first person we called and he was able to get out to the house later that same day. It was all very mysterious, but he thought it might be a clog in our main drain so he referred us to someone who could snake the drain and didn't charge us a penny himself. The person he referred also came out and got the work done that day, and it did indeed solve our issue. Robert is definitely our go-to plumber now!

Rob is always there for you. He is always punctual. He is one of those people who cares about his business. Christmas Eve day, he was even working to help replace a boiler for us.

Excellent! Rob told me several pricing options. He also told me which makes/models of hardware he would install in his own property. I'm willing to pay more for higher quality hardware. He was skilled, fast and clean. Glad I found him.

They came and diagnosed the issue instead of telling me that I needed an incredible amount of work done without thoroughly investigating the issue. Platinum plumbing came out, diagnosed the problem and gave me the information I needed to get the issue resolved. Quick and easy!

He also actually calls you back (if he doesn't pick up immediately, that is). I'll never use anyone but Platinum and I'm glad I found him.

Our water heater broke in the middle of the night and we woke up to 3 inches of water in the basement. We contacted Rob early, and he said he'd be out with a new water heater later that day. He showed up mid-afternoon, took out the old heater, put in the new one, and was done in no time. Under the circumstances, it was a great relief to have Rob handle this so quickly. Rob is guy who does what he says he's going to do. He's professional, responsive, reliable. If you're looking for a plumber, this is an A+ guy.

Noticed a slow leak in an old sewer pipe and requested an estimate. Rob from Platinum Plumbing followed up promptly and provided an in home estimate. I ultimately went with Platinum because Rob was to the point and gave me a clear picture of what to expect. The repair went smoothly and needed to remove more of the pipe than we both had hoped, but still did not go over the estimate price. Will contact Rob again if I need any plumbing needs.

Great communication, professional, and on time from start to finish. This project required 3 visits. One to shut off the water in the kitchen prior to the new countertops and sinks being installed, one to install the new fixtures, and a third because the new garbage disposal was a dud (not his fault) so he came to swap it out for another one. He was fair and detailed with estimates, showed up when he said he would, and everything looks and works perfectly.

This guy is great. First , he acutally returned my calls. I had a couple angies list plumbers take my phone call and then never call me back. Two, he showed up when he said he would Three, he did everything that was asked of him.

The installation went smoothly from start to finish. I am pleased with the quality of the work. Before starting, Rob Holmes carefully planned the best layout for the new system, given the constraints of the existing space and the various potential obstacles in the way of piping and venting. He arranged the piping neatly and efficiently, soldered the connections cleanly, and isolated every component with shut off valves to facilitate any future repairs. He did all the work himself, and he worked as hard and diligently as I would on my own house. Rob seemed to take genuine pride in his work, which is exactly what you want if you take pride in your home. The new system has worked flawlessly since it was first fired up. I would definitely hire him again.

Rob met me at the site at 5:00 AM as we had to shut off the water for the entire building and let it drain before he could install the new flushometer and shut off. It took a little better than an hour to drain out the lines. He then made the required repairs and went around to the 18 toilets and 26 sinks to insure the water was running without any issues. Rob is an absolute professional who goes above and beyond the normal service standards found in most outside contractors. I refer him to anyone who mentions the need for a plumber.

It went very well. We had a leak in an indirect fired hot water system. Rather than replace the leaking tank, which would have been very difficult to remove due to space restrictions, Rob came up with an alternative plan to add a more accessible hot water tank and just leave the old one in place, which he disconnected and emptied. He quoted a price for the job, ordered the new tank, and installed it when it arrived. Rob had to re-route several copper pipes in order to install the new tank. Cleanup was excellent; we could not even tell he had been working in the area. Very happy with the results and Rob's personality.
