All projects went perfectly. Exterior painting has held up very well for 7 years now.

Leonardo promptly returned my phone call, showed up at the time promised to look at the job and provided pricing the next day. His pricing is fair and the work is excellent, his crew was friendly and professional throughout the job. Leonardo made sure the job is done right with lot of attention to detail even though I was not living there, and my condo looks like new. He also provided referrals for other electrical, tile and plumbing work, they also did excellent work. Very highly recommended.

Leonardo and his team are absolutely first rate. Most people in Winchester seem to go to Nick's Painting, but I read great reviews about Crystal Painting so went with them. They are not the cheapest, but they are absolutely first rate painters. They use the latest painting techniques in terms of prep and paint formulations. They show up on time, they are neat and clean up everything, and most importantly, they just do great work. Plus, the crew are great folks: polite, friendly, and they go the extra mile.

Leonardo was prompt and professional. He contacted me quickly, and he has his crew did efficient, high-quality painting. He also helped me think through some design challenges regarding the renovation of a closet. I plan to work with him again!

Leonardo and his team were extremely professional and hard working. They did an excellent and thorough job painting and restoring the exterior of the house (which was in bad need of repair). We highly recommend their work and plan on hiring them for an indoor project as well.

Sharing my brief experience with Crystal painting with fellow Angies'list users: Scheduled for past Saturday for estimate. No show. Called them and got the reply "somehow it didn't pop up on my calendar. I'll call you in 30 minutes to reschedule". Never called me back.

Overall I was very happy with the result of the job and Leo stayed in our budget. We were in need of a face lift and the front of our place looks great now. I would recommend Crystal Painting and the only reason I gave a C on responsiveness is that I had to check in with Leo on when he was going to start the project. This was during his busy time and told me he apologized for the delayed response. Thank you Leo and your crew for the good work!

Superb job. Careful, quality workmanship. Started on time and completed a little later than estimated, about a week and a half.. Slowed up a bit by hot weather and some rain. Leonardo Paixao, the owner or his senior painter was on the site almost every day for an hour or more to supervise the workers. Leonardo was very easy and helpful to work with from start to finish. Very competitive pricing. No needed add-ons.

Crystal Painting did a superb job, and they are a professionally responsible company in every way. You should consider hiring them.

We hired Crystal to paint the interior of our new condominium. The walls were in poor condition from sub-par wall finishing and an amateur paint job done previously. The finished product is really excellent in terms of quality- Crystal’s team was able to make serious defects disappear. When I discovered a few minor details that required retouching, it was easy to work with Leonardo to plan and schedule this fixes the very next day. He also handled requests for additional painting mid-project, and still managed to get the work done on time. Leo and the team at Crystal will be the first company I call for future painting projects.

Excellent to work with, responded to calls/texts immediately, showed up on time for quote and got the work done on time. Even made suggestions to make the building look better without increasing costs. Will definitely be working with them again.

I reached out to Leo and the Crystal team for Interior wallpaper removal and painting of walls, trims, ceilings, and doors. Leo quoted a fair price. Both my wife and I were very impressed with the speed, quality, and thoroughness that Leo’s team worked through the project. We were so impressed on all of these criteria, that we decided to expand the scope of work. Leo is the main point of contact, and very responsive. The team is mostly non English speaking, but very courteous and clean. I have a 2 yr old son, so the fact that they cleaned up thoroughly every day was very important to us. The quality of materials used for the job was top notch - Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. The team was thorough about smoothing walls, filling cracks, patching holes and sanding - with a beautiful result. I would definitely use Crystal painting again in the future.

The cleaning service- I have used Crystal Cleaning for over 10 years and love them. They are so wonderful and accommodating. The women were so good to my golden retriever. The house is cleaned top to bottom. The house is immaculate after they are done! I wish I could do every week instead of every 2 weeks! The painting service- Such a great crew. They were so professional and respectful. Placed barriers on my wood floors to protect them as they came in and out. They repaired a huge hole in the wall and you would never know it was there. Their plastering is immaculate. The baseboard was perfectly done. They were so clean and the painting is perfect. I was very impressed. Both of these services are run professionally, punctual, and do a great job. I highly recommend them. Leonard is so easy to deal with and easy to get in touch with which is huge.

While we weren't able to use their services (due to a scheduling snafu on our end), Leonardo was the epitome of professionalism and responsiveness. He was willing to do whatever we needed and to make our schedule work. I can't say how much we appreciated his flexibility and concern. I hope we have a chance to use them in the future.

Leonardo was very prompt with responses and always on time with his crew. The quote price was fair and estimated 3 days of work for 2k, which included 2 days of prep work including sanding and a 3rd day of painting. As the project started, the timeline changed to just 2 days as the crew suggested they would finish early. While we were happy to have the project over in 2 days, the crew may be been rushed- we noticed a few untouched patches and seemed to have cut corners on the prep work (IE sanding and filling of dents). We also asked for our radiator to be painted- but the crew only had time to paint half of it. Having said that, the actual paint job itself on the walls looks great, and we trusted his crew in hour home.

Leonardo was a pleasure to work with: I found him through reviews on yelp and angieslist, and was cautious at first, but very pleased. He was increbilty responsive, and his team did a great job for my highrise Boston condominium. His prices was fair, and he stuck to his quote. He showed up on time, his team was nice and considerate, and the work was well done. We had a problem with a wall of wallpaper installation, and Leonardo was on top of it everyday. Problems will and do arise; thats the nature of building, but the fact that Leonardo stepped up and took ownership and responsbility for the problems (and solutions) went a long way in my opinion. I would use him and his team again.

Leonardo was very responsive over text, and came on time with his crew. The work was finished on time and they did a nice job. The condo neighbors thought they were super nice and thoughtful. Leonardo promptly took care of any remaining issues without trying to haggle, instead he just got it done asap. I'd definitely use them again.

Vendor exceeded expectations and did more than was expected.

Leonardo showed up within 24 hours of my contacting him and had an estimate ready the day after that. He had a strong vision of what the job called for and communicated it well. His estimate was not the absolute lowest of those I got, but it was the most reasonable among the few painters who inspired my confidence. The work was done in three days, as estimated. The crew was punctual and courteous. The attic (which had been neglected for decades) is currently the prettiest room in the house. Will hire again.

Leonardo and his team were terrific. This is the second time we have used them for painting. We were in a time crunch to get everything done. Leonardo understood the scheduling pressures and assured us that everything would be done by Monday morning. His team worked long days including all day Saturday and a good chunk of Sunday to get everything done. Even though they were in a rush quality of the work was excellent. The guys were meticulous about doing the best job they could. They spent a lot of time covering everything up and taping so as not to get paint where it shouldn't be. And when everything was done they did a great job cleaning up . Leonardo is a very busy guy. So, sometimes it can be difficult getting a hold of him and getting him in to get a quote. But, he and his team are well worth an extra effort to get in touch with him. We use Crystal for both the cleaning and painting services. We are incredibly pleased with them. I cannot give you stronger recommendation!
