Cooper Bros Paving

Coopers Brothers was very professional upfront, and looked like they did a great job. They know what they are doing but like most large projects there can be issues. Sure enough I had 2 areas where the pavement failed and became holes in the driveway. I called several times, even spoke to owners wife - he will get to you. never did. Emailed over 5 times, got same message once I will come out next weekend. never did. Terrible, terrible service. Not sure how they can survive treating customers like that. And the problems appeared in less than one year.

Josh and his team's work was impeccable. Price was very competitive and work was done in a very short time. Like anyone who is very good at what he does, he is in high demand, so a bit of realism on expectations for project start is in order, but once they got going, work was flawless and very price competitive.

John was very helpful and responsive took a look at the issue we are having. We aren't fixing it in the short term but I would definitely feel comfortable using Cooper Bros in the future for this or another project.

Great !! The job had to be pushed up due to all the rain, but when they were able to do the driveway, it was so worth the wait !!! When we came home from work we couldn’t have been happier ! They finished in 1/2 day..... nothing let behind but a beautiful driveway...Amazing !! I have recommended Cooper bros to everyone.... Thank you !!!

The job took about 3 hours. Josh was on job whole time. He came in at the lowest price. He was very professional.

I am very pleased with the work. I submitted a request online, Josh Cooper called within a few days and came out that day to review the scope of the project. He provided an estimate on the spot. A few days later I called to confirm, and we arranged that they would fit in the project within the next two weeks. Once we set a day, he and his team showed up promptly with all the equipment needed for the job. They removed the old asphalt, and also removed some lawn, bushes, and a small stone retaining wall. They then laid gravel and graded the area and paved the driveay and the new parking area and were done 6 hours later. It was a well orchestrated project, Josh managed it from start to finish. No sooner was the debris removed when the gravel showed up, as soon as the gravel was laid the asphalt truck showed up. They also cleaned up the site and left everything in good shape.

John was a pleasure to work with, if I had any questions he would call back the same day. Had to coordinate with another contractor to build wall before we could expand the driveway. Gave John his number and they coordinated the project together. Project went off without any problems. I would use the Cooper Brothers again, and recommend them highly..

Frustrated as I heard from many to contact Cooper.

Cooper returned after doing an excellent job with the first stage of laying my driveway to complete the final finish layer. We had agreed that this would be done a year after the base layers were laid. Josh again did an excellent job communicating, scheduling and completing the driveway. We are very pleased with the result.

The job started on time and was completed within one day. Communication was clear and accurate. Very professional and would hire again.

Two car driveway, paved up to the stone house foundations on both sides. Did a very neat job, and the pitch/grading is nice. I wasn't there when the work was done but it certainly looks good.

Cooper Bros did a fantastic job on our driveway. It was in such bad shape that we couldn't even park on it due to tree roots underneath that were coming through the asphalt. They easily removed the old one, expanded it per our specifications, and repaved the whole thing under 5 hours. The owner, Josh, stood by making sure everything ran smoothly. His employees worked hard throughout, even as rain began to sprinkle over their heads. I am very grateful for their services and professionalism. Would hire again anytime.

The type of asphalt they used is more of a rough base coat that is used under the final top coat. It contains large stones that are already coming loose.

It was great working with Josh Cooper at Cooper Brothers Paving. I got to him late in the season when he was busy and booked up. Still, he came out on a Sunday to assess the job and give me a quote. It was a very reasonable quote, better than three others I got. He listened to my concerns about getting the driveway graded just right and sized just right, and made recommendations that made sense. I had just finished putting an addition on my house and so we were not yet sure how my building contractor would leave the grading for Cooper to work with. Josh reassured me that he could make it work either way it was left for him ? and he did. As my building contractor finished up grading the yard, he (the contractor) made suggestions about building the driveway that Josh and I had not discussed. I called and asked Josh whether he could work things differently. He reassured me that he could, that it would work fine and that it would not cost me more money. When his crew showed up, they got the job done fast and well. He was there for all of it, checking with me as they went along that everything they did was right and what I wanted. It was. We are very pleased with the new drive. First rate experience. One additional note: Josh and I both had to change the schedule several times before the work was actually done. Every time I called him to ask for a change or check on something, he either answered on the spot or called me back promptly. And I know he was busy. I repeat, he was great to work with.

Josh was very professional from the onset. He was responsive in describing in detail what the scope of the job would entail. Reasonable price and job was completed on time as promised. Josh was present and oversaw the entire job. He was readily available to address any questions that we had. Nice guy. We would definitely use him again.

I put in an online quote request via Angie's List on Sunday July 20th 2014. I did not hear back from Cooper Bros until Wednesday July 30th, when a short email arrived asking me to call a telephone number. Five minutes after I got the email I called the number. The person who answered didn't know who I was and said "oh, maybe my secretary sent the email". He asked where I lived and then said "I'll call you back this afternoon. No wait, actually you call me back after 4 pm". At which point I said thanks and goodbye. Very poor service in not responding to a quote request for ten days and then asking a potential customer to call you back, rather than making the call back as the service provider. I know that if I did this in my company there would be serious repercussions for giving a customer such bad service.

From the minute they showed up on the job, they worked very hard. It's amazing how every men knew exactly what the other person was going to do next. In my wildest dreams I never imagined this job will come out as well as it did. I strongly recommend Cooper Bros for all your paving needs.

It went very well with them. They were efficient and did a brilliant job.

He wasted my entire day. He called the day before the meeting and said he would meet me between 10 and 11 am. I called at 8:30-9 am, asked to meet at 12 and at Dunken Donuts 5 houses down from my rental properties. I didn't want to speak in front of my tenants. I have many rental properties he could have worked, he was terrible though. He said he was doing me a favor. He said that I was trying to be too secretive. He was very disrespectful and arrogant. He acted like he didn't need the work. He said he went by my property and knew the work that had to be done. He walked away with out giving me an estimate. It all seemed awfully suspicious.
