I first reached out to Tommy because he was recommended to me by a friend. He had refinished her whole house and it was beautiful, so I thought, OK, obviously he does good work. Tommy came to my house back in December or January to talk about what options I had and was really clear about how it would work out. I reached out to him when we were ready to move forward, and he was flexible with scheduling, which I appreciated. He showed up promptly on the day of service with another gentleman, and they sealed off the room completely to alleviate the fumes. They were very diligent in their work... I don't think they took a break at all between 8 and 5:30! They came back a couple days later for the 2nd coat, and it looks BEAUTIFUL. I would certainly recommend Tommy to anyone in need of a new or refinished floor. It looks even better than I could have imagined, not to mention that he was a pleasure to deal with. Edited to add.... While the floor looks fantastic, I've noticed in the past couple of days * 4 dents in my stainless steel refrigerator, which we had just bought a couple of months ago * a small chip in the wall, which we had also just finished, but only 2 weeks ago, so now we need to patch and paint it again * our back porch is covered in sawdust and spare pieces of wood, and a couple of black trash bags. The floor still is amazing, but I'm not as sold as I previously was in the post. My fridge cost more than the floor, and my husband and I had worked so h****** the kitchen and were glad to finally be done, but now we aren't again. It's frustrating that we have to clean up and repair things after a service by professionals. I would use them in the future, so long as I wasn't concerned about what was AROUND the work I'm having done.

Buddy Flooring was recommended to me by my brother who has used the company twice in replacing floors.. Tommy and another worker came on a Friday morning as scheduled, sanded the floors and stairs and put on first coat of oil based stain. All doors and walls were covered to prevent damage. They returned on Sunday, put on second coat, and installed the tile in the bathroom. They then cleaned up any mess. We could reenter the house by Monday afternoon. Price was substantially lower then two other estimates we received from businesses highly rated on Angies List. This may have, in part, been due to our advising Tommy that we were in no rush for the job to be done and he could come when his work was slow.. The two men travelled from Saugus to Cape Cod which is over 50 miles each way. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of the job.
