Bradford Carpet One

The cork floor Bradford Carpet One installed looked good at first but then gaps developed which need to be corrected. I have called repeatedly to try to schedule this work to be done to fix the floor but the folks at Bradford Carpet One have not responded. I'm disappointed and would not use them again.

Could not have gone better! The crew showed up on time and ere very pleasant. Although there was only 1 each day that spoke English, but that went fine. They worked hard and barely stopped for a break. The work was finished very quickly -2 days. We are very pleased. Bradford has done many jobs for us in the past 30 years and we have been happy every time.

Pam was initially very prompt and helpful, but showed up earlier than promised and didn't wait until I was home; she just took preliminary measurements and left, without being able to answer any questions or discuss anything in person. Later in the process, she went silent and unresponsive, until I called and spoke with a manager, after which she responded. When I sent back a signed contract, she again failed to respond to set an installation date until I again called to inquire. When the guys came to measure the installation so they could go back to the shop to cut and bind the carpeting, they made a significant error at one bend at the end of the hall. They hadn't asked me what to do, and Pam wasn't with them, so they cut and bound the carpet with the error. When they installed the carpet, the error was obvious, so they had to come back another day to repair it. I'm concerned about the long-term effects of that repair but it looks fine for the moment. Pam never contacted me after the installation to apologize for the error, or to see if I was satisfied, or to follow up in any way, and they charged the final amount to my credit card without ever calling to check on my satisfaction. Since the carpet was now installed, I didn't feel like calling (for the third time) to explain what good customer service is.

Project went very well. Pam was very accommodating in what we were looking for in price and timing in replacing the carpets. The workers showed up and had the old carpet removed and new carpet installed in one day. Great Work!

Overall, I was pleased with the work. The in-store help was great; they helped me pick out the right product for my rooms, in the right colors to match my bedding and wall colors. The carpet itself is beautiful/soft/plush and exactly what I wanted. Their pricing was fair and competitive. In some of the corners of the rooms and where they had to cut into the closets, the cuts aren't perfect. It doesn't look bad by any means, but it could have been more precise. Communication throughout the process was great, and delivery/installation was very punctual. They actually worked hard to fit installation into a very tight window of time that I requested (after walls were painted and before hardwood floors were refinished), which I really appreciated. After installation, I was surprised to find little carpet bits around my front yard (it was as if they brought the remnant pieces outside and shook them out). They eventually blew away, so it wasn't really a big deal, but not ideal. I would recommend this company and will probably use them again.

Pedro called me 30 min ahead of arrival time and I really appreciate it! Pedro and Carlos arrived at 8:20am and started work immediately, and finished the job in 1hr 40min, which is very impressive. The job is well done and the new carpet looks very nice! They cleaned the carpet before they left. I definitely will recommend this company, however, I do have some concerns about their communication/responsiveness: 1). My original installation date is 10/20/2015, but I did not get any notice that the installation date will be changed to 10/21/2015 until I called them last minute on the original installation date, which is not professional and responsive enough. 2). It will be great if your company can guarantee customers get email/call response in less than 24 hours, too much delay will not do any good; Any way, the installation job is well done, I am happy about the result.

We used them a couple of times. I was very happy with them. We used them once and they came back and did the stairs and came back and used them again recently. The people in the store were really helpful. The people who came in to install the carpet on the stairs were quite good as well.

I worked with Pam and she was wonderful. She came to the house for a detailed estimate at a convenient time for us. She came with samples and I chose right then and there. The order took some time but came in correctly. The day of the installation, it took a little extra time due to some uncovered water damage - which the installers took care of and I was charged fairly for. They were careful about nails, as I have kids and pets. I know it took extra time and they were very polite and professional. I would definitely use Bradford Carpet in the future.

We purchased carpeting at the store. Pam was outstanding. She was pleasant, thorough and extremely helpful in selecting the right carpet. She came out the next day and took all the measurements. She provided a timely estimate of the cost and was very flexible in scheduling the installation. The installers arrived on time and did an excellent job with the installation, disposal of the old carpet and cleanup. The whole experience was very positive and we highly recommend Pam and the team at Bradford Carpet One.

We purchased a carpet runner from Bradford Carpet. Dave, the salesman, is great. He listened to us and helped us find a nice carpet at a good price. He came out the same day and measured the stairway to write up the estimate. We paid him in full on the spot. A few days later, the workers showed up and measured the stairs to cut the carpet. It was our understanding it would just be a few more days before they would call to schedule the installation. (We ordered a standard carpet, have a pretty average stairway, so it was going to be a simple job.) We waited. And waited. and waited. Finally, after two weeks, I called Dave, and he said that he thought it had already been installed. After some phone calls, he scheduled the installation for a few days later. Of course, weekends were booked for a while, so I made the foolish mistake of taking a morning off work to wait for the installers. HA! They didn't show! I had to call three times, each time getting a different story. Basically, our job was small, so they moved it around in the installation schedule to tend to bigger jobs. We were not a priority. They finally came and installed it, but it was only after I lost a day of work and we had to cancel plans that evening (because it was so late when they left we would never have made it to the event in time.) The funny part (or sad part) is that this is the second time this has happened with us. We worked with Bradford at another home a few years ago and had a similar experience -- great sales, poor installation. The only difference was that the installation at the first place was poorly done -- there were buckles in the carpet after they installed it. Dave had to personally come out and fix it. So, as I read the other wonderful reviews, it just seems to me that it's us. There must be something about our jobs (too small, too inconvenient, etc.) that don't merit attention from Bradford. We like them, but don't feel their installation is very professional. We have another carpeting project and have gone elsewhere.

Pam from Bradford Carpet in Saugus is a pleasure to work with. Great ideas, offers a range of pricing options and styles to meet your tastes. They communicate effectively via email and phone and showed up on time for the install. The carpet has been in for about 7 months and we couldn't be happier with the finish.

We've been using them for a long time, about 20 years, and we have had no problems with them! They do a really good job and they're also good about making sure everything is taken care of and that you are happy.

They were great! Their prices are reasonable and always competitive. I am a repeat customer! Their delivery and installation crews are great! They are prompt, extremely professional, and they get the job done quickly. The first time I used them, I had also gotten other quotes to compare prices. However the last two times I used them, I didn't even bother to get other quotes because we were so happy with them!

They guys who worked there were really friendly, nice and helpful. However, they ordered the flooring and promised a certain arrival date but there was no shipping over the weekend. I ended up having to wait and then it pushed the contractors back and the whole job was put on hold. I wasn't able to finish the floor when I had planned.

I was very pleased with them! I enjoy the carpet very much. The installers were great and it was overall a good experience. I also thought the price was very competitive.

I really like that they have pre-bound carpet remnants. They have ordered for us several times over the year cork flooring. We have never had any complaints about their customer service; we have never had them come in our home and install wall-to-wall carpet.

We called for an estimate and they had someone here the very next day. One the measurements were made and selections chosen, the estimate was in my hands within 24 hours.

Bradford Carpet installed what I considered one of the most difficult installations. I selected a floral print carpet for a stair runner. The stairs were not a straight run, they had a curve to them. To match a floral design carpet on a staircase that is not a straight run is next to impossible. The installers worked for several hours trying to get this stair runner to match, they accomplished their job. The runner came out beautiful and my clients were thrilled. Bob Bradford came out to the project site personally to see the end result. The Bradford Carpet team goes over and above to ensure a sucessful result.

I knew which carpet I wanted to order, so I contacted five different carpet stores in the New England area to compare them in terms of customer service and pricing. Dave at Bradford Carpet One won that "competition" hands down. Not only did Bradford Carpet One have the lowest overall price, but Dave was also the most customer service oriented. He followed up on my inquiries and went out of his way to send me carpet samples. The great service continued with the delivery of the carpet. Very professional. I would definitely recommend Bradford Carpet One in Saugus to my friends.
