+ 0 moreThe owners name is Steve. He took a deposit and never showed. We took him to court and won our case but he never showed in court either. There were four other companies with different matters who were also looking to recoup funds. The owner has a shady background and an extensive rapsheet. They are in several locations around New Hampshire and Massachusetts and other members need to be aware of what this guy about.
Description of Work: I hired them to do some tree work and land clearing.

+ -1 moreWe paid Steve Holt of Kingdom Tree LandWorks in Salisbury, MA $375.00 to cut down trees in our yard in New Hampshire on 6/18/09. He cashed the check four days later and never provided the service. We called him many times, we filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, and a small claims court complaint, and he didn't reply to either. On 10/21/09 he gave us a money order for $100, but has not paid us back any other money. We contacted our county sheriff's office to serve the papers from the small claims court to him. The sherrif said that he has had experience with Steve in the past and that he keeps moving to avoid being served papers.
