They were very responsive to an immediate installation request. Steve asked about my concerns, reviewed the space and clearly explained their equipment, options, service and response. There was no hard sell. He presented all the options, explained benefits of each option, and actually advised me against a particular option I thought should be added to the system. I felt very comfortable asking questions and he patiently explained everything. He clearly understands you need to feel comfortable with the purchase and he did not try to sell me more than I needed. Unlike competitors I contacted, Dependable Security does not require that you sign a service contract. Steve explained that they retain their customers through responsive customer service and reliable, affordable security systems. If you have your alarm for several months and decide you don't want the service any longer you can cancel without penalty. However, the monthly rate is quite affordable (less than multiple competitors I contacted), the peace of mind is great and the installation makes you eliglible for a discount on your home/tenant insurance. Customer Service: *Steve made a return trip to add a filter to my system because turning the alarm on/off interrupted my wifi service, temporarily disconnecting users from network. There was no charge for service call or part. They stand behind their installations. *The few times I've called the Central number with a question they were very professional. They requested all pertinent information and I received a timely, and helpful call-back.
