Mike arrived on time and was very professional. He diagnosed a long-standing (several years) problem we've had with wifi coverage from our xfinity modem/router. We now have much better reception throughout the house. This was an issue that Xfinity could not fix despite several visits from their service providers. My only very minor complaint is that $108/hour seems kind of steep. On the other hand, he fixed the problem. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Michael was here in less than 24 hour of my call and diagnosed the problem and performed the repair in 1 hours time discovering the video card had failed due to a fan which had failed...replaced with a used card, cleaned out 6 years of dirt which likely caused the problem and made sure I knew it was not new part and did not charge as it if it had been...very professional and helpful...Kudos to Michael...I would use him again and world recommend him any time.

I found Mike, the owner, to be extremely professional, patient and informative. The day after I first contacted him, he drove to my house in the evening to pick up the hard drive of my old computer. Within an hour (and he lives at least half an hour from my house), he called to report that he had located the old emails at issue. I have a very difficult schedule, but he readily worked around it, and spent an hour at 7 am on a Sunday talking me through the process while he worked on my computers remotely. He was able to remotely transfer the old emails in readily viewable form to my new computer, and also to identify the source of and solve a problem I was having with my laptop. I highly recommend his services.

Three or four programs were not working and he found the cause and made the corrections. I wanted him to install Windows 7 and upgrade Microsoft Office but he advised not to do this as my computer was to old and I would not get the benefit that I wanted.

Michael arrived on time and is a personable and knowledgeable computer technician. He educated me each step of the way, as well as solving my various computer problems. He addressed the full list of problems that my computer was experiencing.

I needed help upgrading my software and CPU. Michael advised me well and set up with system with no hassles in record time. His service is a good value.

I left Michael a phone message and as promised in his voicemail message, he returned my call that same day. After a few targeted questions, he quickly diagnosed that my 9 year old printer/scanner/copier/fax machine had a malfunction that could not be repaired due to the age of the machine and the fact that it would cost more to fix than to purchase new. He counseled me on specifications to look for in a new printer and offered suggestions for where to find the best price. I then mentioned a computer issue I was having re: insufficient memory and asked if he could add more RAM to my desktop CPU. After getting the make and model information, he told me he'd research whether this model could take more. Michael called me back within 24 hours and had the information I needed to make a decision. He also gave me guidance about cleaning out extraneous software programs that might be causing the CPU to run slow. While I never actually hired Michael to come to my home for a repair, I found his knowledge and information to be reliable and solid, and his willingness to guide me by phone at no charge a sign of his excellent business practices and his drive to help the customer solve their computer issues quickly and efficiently.

I run a business from my home so my computer is important to me. When working on a project my DVD writer suddenly was heard to increase the speed it was spinning and then I heard a crunching sound and all was quiet. It took me a minute to force the thing open to discover the drive spun so fast that the disk had shattered. I didn't want to take is somewhere and leave it a couple days so I did a search and found Computer Housecalls. Michael the owner made arrangements to come the next day. UNderstanding my emergency need, he promised to fit me in, but because of that he couldn't give me an exact time. He called (as he said he would) when he was on his way, arrived on time and worked in my crowded closet (where the computer is located) to replace the drive. I was able to use my computer to work till he arrived, and 20 minutes later was back in business. Michael was pleasant, professional and did what I needed in a reasonable time. I was so pleased that he is coming back in a couple of weeks for some equipment upgrades. The only possible downside,he doesn't take plastic.
