+ 2 moreI called the listed number of 978/745-8313. I got a call back from Marcelo at Silva Roofing. He said United Roofing was no longer in business, and he was assuming all of their existing and new business. He showed up the same day to give me a quote, which was very reasonable. We agreed on a day the following week for him to do the job. Before he left, I asked him to provide me with everything in writing. He told me he'd email me when he returned to the office. That was the last time I ever heard from him. I never received an email. And, despite leaving multiple messages, he never returned my calls, and he never showed to perform the repair. I have no idea what the relationship is between United Roofing and Silva Roofing, but be careful if you end up speaking to Marcelo. There is no Angie's Listing for Silva Roofing, so I can only leave the review here. His card lists services in Roofing, Painting and Carpentry.
Description of Work: I needed the roof flange/gasket replaced.

+ -1 moreThe roofers who came to do the job, which took about two weeks, were very nice. I think this company is a bit pricey, but their work is excellent. If I use them again, however, I will make sure to have a family member there when it comes time to go over the contract. There was a misunderstanding between me and one of the staff members regarding one of the stipulations of the contract.
Description of Work: They put a new roof on my home and a rubber roof on my porch. The one on my home was shingled. I'm not sure of the size of the roof but my house has ten rooms. They did not take the old roof off; instead, they put the new one on top of the old. They removed all debris.

+ -1 moreMY PHONE CALL WAS ANSWERED IN A DAY. AN ESTIMATE WAS DONE WITHIN A WEEK. THE WORKERS WERE POLITE. THEY DID NOT PLAY LOUD MUSIC, AND THEY CLEANED UP WELL.
Description of Work: MIKE SHEA REPLACED 3/4THS OF THE SHINGLES ON MY HOUSE. THE SHINGLES ON THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE WERE IN GOOD CONDITION. MINOR CARPENTRY WAS DONE.
