He showed up perfectly, came in under the estimate and very professional.

The move was stressful but Charles and his team from Andresen were fantastic. They were extremely professional and took great care of all of our belongings. They also stayed to help me unload a U-Haul that I had rented and filled in addition to the larger pieces of furniture and piano that we had hired them to move.

There were some minor complications with delivery and we had to stay in a hotel. They could not finish packing the truck to get in done here to unpack it in the two days so we had to spend an extra day in the hotel.

The first move was from a three bedroom two bath condo to a small one bedroom apartment we lived in for a year while we found a new place to purchase. The first move was fine. We had a lot of items to move. They stores the majority of our property since we didn't have room in the rental apartment. When we purchased our new home, they came with the majority of our items already in the truck (since they had it in storage). They showed up late. They were slow. We paid by the hour for the move since it was a move less then two miles away. I was told we'd receive a refund when I complained about the price. I never received it. The movers failed to go over the item checklist with us. Several items were damaged or missing after our move. The company only repaired one item and never responded to my inquiries (in writing and verbally) about the others items which were missing or damaged. They were sent letters and I still have copies of all communications which were in writing. I was very disappointed and would never use them again. I would never recommend them to a friend. I believe they are an irresponsible, unethical company.

Bob came to the house on 11/22/13 and did a detailed inventory of the contents and noted what was going to the apartment and what was going to storage. Bob was very professional and knowledgeable. We have moved 8 times before and had some very specific questions. Bob was able to answer them all. Received a quote from Pattie on 11/25 with a detailed inventory and a commitment to meet the dates we needed for pickup and delivery. It was not the lowest price to start ( I try to pick in the middle) but ended up being the lowest when it was all done. Over the next couple of weeks we decided to get rid of several pieces of furniture and not move them. Discussed this with Pattie and she took them off of the inventory and reduced the price. WOW! Who does that!! We ended up saving almost $500 when it was all done. It that wasnt great enough, Bruce and Jim had to be the best moving team we have ever had. They did all of the things a great moving team should do and really enjoyed themselves. Moving can be very stressful but they made it a breeze. They protected the banisters and doors, wrapped all of the furniture, and carefully disassembled the furniture that needed it. We had a top to a hutch that had a crack in a leg. They were very protective of the piece and no further damage occurred. They worked non stop and never took a break. They arrived on time in VA and the fantastic service continued. A third of the goods went into a storage room on the 5th floor of the facility. (there were elevators thank heavens). Bruce and Jim made quick work of the unload and then over to the apartment. We could only reserve the elevator for 3 hours at a time. We were on the 13th floor. They unloaded as much as they could on the 18th and finished on the 19th. Again they did a great job placing furniture where my wife wanted it and moving it when she changed her mind. A small table had gotten loaded on the truck by mistake that was supposed to stay with the old house. Bruce offered to drop it back at the house when he got home. There just isnt enough words to describe how great this move went thanks to the great team at Andresen and especially Bruce and Jim. With 8 previous moves we have had both bad and good experiences. There is just no comparison with this move. We will be moving again in 18 months and if there was any way to get these guys again we would do it. It would be worth any extra expense. You dont need to get other estimates. Call Andresen - you will be glad you did.

The three young men were very punctual and are immediately started to work. They were polite but no nonsense. In 3 hours they moved and packed everything except the computer, valuables, food, and plants that we were moving ourselves. This included about 30-45 minutes to move the piano out (spinet). They arrived at our new home after dropping off the piano on the way (for a very minimal charge). They did a quick walkthrough with me as I named the rooms. In 2 1/2 hours they unloaded everything, put together all of the pieces that needed to be done (with one exception) and even helped my husband arrange some things in the garage. They knew were paying an hourly rate but didn't rush tough items - they were very professional. Always asked to use the bathroom and were very appreciative of the bottled water we had on hand for them. Were astounded when we shared our lunch with them but they ate very fast so as not to use up too much of our paid time. Downside - not much. I always expect some boxes being put in the wrong place and some furniture being nicked. They forgot to reattach the very large mirror on top of a triple dresser we are converting into a china cabinet. It sits just fine where it should but needs to be tightened down so it doesn't fall. So far nothing is missing or damaged beyond repair...except the music holder on the piano which fell open on the way out and half of it was broken. It may be replaceable or repairable. I cannot mark them down for this at all. I would definitely use them again. Though, we hope we don't have to move anytime for another 20 or so years! :)

There are not enough adjectives and adverbs to describe how wonderful this company is. When my original mover did not show up, these people came to my rescue. They had some difficulty moving some larger furniture, but were calm and professional. The team was just tops from the supervisor to the guys who did the lugging! They had difficulty putting the furniture in the new house since it was smaller but they just kept trying different ways to get it in. I cannot tell you how professional and calming they were to me. It wasn't one of my better days! I can't thank them enough either. I hope you use them. You won't be disappointed.

they moved my things quickly. Only cost 700 dollars when estimate was 1100 because it went so fast. I had a few scratches in furniture. But mostly fine. They were friendly but broke handle on dresser and broke hot tub after saying they knew how to move it. Owner came right out and looked at damage and offered to pay for damage so that was good

I asked three companies for a quote. Van Lines gave us the most reasonable price and the guy is very nice and professional too. The mover from MA came with our staff and unloaded here in Ca. He is very professional but the other two are not.

My household goods were moved with great care and placed in exactly the spots I wanted. They even rearranged the furniture however many times I wanted to ensure correct placement. The crew did a remarkable job in completing the task in one day. It is evident that they take great pride in their work and aim to please the customer. I certainly would recommend T.E. Andresen Movers to anyone in need of quality movers.

I contacted Andresen about 1 1/2 months before the move to book a date and talk over the move. They were very helpful in talking through the estimate and going over the costs. We were doing a two day move (Out Monday, store the stuff over night, then in on Tuesday.) When Monday arrived the truck and three movers showed up right on time and got right to work after a quick walk through of the condo. All the furniture was wrapped very carefully and they took great care with the more fragile items. We had them disassemble a few pieces a furniture for the move. On move in day they also showed up right on time and somehow backed the truck up our very winding driveway. Everything was unloaded quickly and carefully. I should also note that the two moving days were some of the hottest of the summer but that didn't slow them down. I'm happy to say that several weeks later we are almost completely unpacked and haven't found anything broken yet. Overall very happy with our experience

They were very responsible, care in moving items, and extremely quick and efficient. Price was exactly what was quoted. Please doing business.

They came in with a quote of $19000 when others we received were as high as $41000. We chose to use this company and are moving in July. This will be the third time I've used this company.
