Description of Work: After moving into my new condo and sorting through stuff I no longer wanted, I found myself with half a patio's worth of junk I needed hauled. | |My first contact with One Call Junk Haul was online. I was called by Jake the next day, and we set an appointment for a time window of 12pm-2pm the following Monday. I called the next day to let them know about a few additional items I had found in the meantime, and wanted hauled as well. I spoke with Jesse, and confirmed the Monday appointment slot with him. | |The Saturday before that Monday appointment, somebody from One Call Junk Haul left me a voice mail. I didn't catch the name, but the voice and accent sounded like an Asian female. That person asked for confirmation whether the appointment was for Monday or Tuesday. That really surprised me, since I had agreed on, and confirmed, the Monday date with both Jake and Jesse. | |I called (and left a voice mail) and e-mailed in response, articulating that I didn't understand how there could be any confusion about what day our appointment was. | |On Monday morning, Jake called me back, and it became apparent nobody had got my voice mail or read my e-mail, yet. Jake still assured me my junk would be picked up that day, and I would receive a courtesy call some 30 minutes before their expected arrival at my place. | |The 12pm-2pm time window came and went, and there was no call. At 2pm, I called, and Jake said the truck was about to go to two more destinations in two adjacent towns before heading over to my place. | |Now I work close to home (a leisurely 15-minute walk), and I didn't have any work-related meetings or other appointments scheduled that Monday afternoon, so that made it doable for me to just sit at the office and be ready to respond to their "30-minute warning." But again, that worked only because my workplace is so close to home. | |The call didn't come until way past 4pm, so I ended up leaving the office close to my usual quitting time. So by that time, the projected time had already passed for more than two hours. | |For a local operation to fall behind a two-hour time window like that would normally result in an automatic F for punctuality with me. I am giving them a D(-) only because they still did show up within 30 minutes following their call. | |Once they did arrive, the junk hauling went swiftly and without a hitch.

Description of Work: We have a crazy hoarder in our building and we had a ton of crap to dispose of in the basement as a result. Jesse's crew came out and disposed of the items quickly and efficiently even with the nut job being there making things difficult. They were awesome to work with and did a great job. We didn't get to dispose of everything because the hoarder wouldn't let everything go, so when we need them again soon in the future, I won't hesitate to call.

Description of Work: They did a nice job removing a makeshift firepit constructed of heavy cinderblocks. They were flexible and removed some last minute additional items.

Description of Work: Bought coupon for truck load. Don't think there was wgt. limit Everything fit in truck. Had to pay for 2 loads due to wgt. Swept clean & got things down from rafters.

Description of Work: A wide variety of house and yard waste was picked up from 2 different locations and hauled away.

Description of Work: They dug up and hauled away dirt, roots, and buried oddities (bricks, trowel, plastic) from a 6x6 area where I'll be planting an herb garden next year. They came to give an estimate, communicated clearly about the scope and date to do the work. Then they arrived on time, did the work beautifully, and cleaned up perfectly.
