Description of Work: I couldn't turn the washing machine water lever at the valve on the wall. Michael determined that replacing the valve would solve the problem. He had the job done in no time. I've used Michael Mercier previously to replace, proactively, my water heater and he did just as good a job on that.

Description of Work: This is not the first time I have used Mike's services; he has helped with minor problems and has always responded right away and right on time. After the recent flood in Salem, I needed immediate help b/c my water heater was out of order. Mike responded promptly despite the heavy business demands occasioned by the flood. He replaced my water heater for quite a reasonable price. I've generally been impressed with Mike's professionalism re response to appointments, phone calls when late, courtesy, and cleanliness. He also answers questions in a knowledgeable way. Since I'm not at all handy, I need people I can rely on for around-the-house repairs, and Mike's on my list.
