The whole experience was good. He's professional and seems confident that he knows what he's doing. He's neat. His charges were reasonable. We'll call him again if we need electrical work done.

Very responsive; returned initial call right away. Called on his way over and was punctual. Diagnosed problem and fixed quickly; installed new outlet in a conscientious manner (gave us good advice and seemed well versed in the relevant electrical codes.) cleaned up after the work was completed.

Great company and service. John replaced and updated lighting, electrical outlets, and bathroom light/fan fixture, as well as hung up flat screen T.V.'s. He also gave us consults about general home issues. Both John and his assistant are experts and highly skilled at what they do. They are on time, listen to your needs, and are able to explain the process and make effective recommendations for your needs. Our new home is much more efficiently lit and the electrical is solid and secure. Professionalism is excellent and they both have a great sense of humor. Payment is easily made is many ways and communication is clear and complete. Straight A's for this company.

I received a call from a friend who needed the number of a good electrician. I gave the the number of John from Jolt electric, as I know John from my Business Network International chapter. John showed up right away and took care of the problem in a kind and professional manner. My friends were very happy. I have heard many good things about John and Jolt Electric from other people that has used his services or referred him to friends and colleagues. I would refer John again, and I would use his services myself when the need arises.

Our first use of Angie's List was to locate a reputable electrician in our area; this is how we found Jolt. True to the customer reviews, the team was friendly, accommodating, quick to service our needs, and reasonably priced. We intend to call upon Jolt again for electrical needs; so glad we joined Angie's List!

He came on time as scheduled, went into the attic and found that the area impacted was old knob and tube wiring. He disconnected the affected area from the knob and tube and ran a new service to that area using updated wiring. Everything was fixed and working. About 4 hours in total, very professional, easy to understand and competitively priced. We had a great experience and as required, will definitely use him again.

John and his associate Jay arrived when scheduled and worked tirelessly till the rough wiring was complete. The wiring looked neat and they cleaned up thoroughly upon completion. This really impressed my adorable wife (more extra points). After the plastering, cabinets and painting were complete I called John to have the switches and outlets installed. John made room in his busy schedule to complete the job. The entire electrical job looks great. I would definitely recommend JOLT Electric if you are considering an electrical contractor.

Jolt was absolutely fantastic! Our 2 -family house ,built in 1900, was in desparate need of a kitchen remodel and new wiring. Our goal was to support local businesses.We had hired an independant contactor and needed to find an electrician. John responded to our request for an estimate within 24hrs and showed up on-time for our appointment. We were immediately put at ease with his knowledge and professionalism . We had received estimates from 2 other companies prior to meeting John. He spent time asking us about the remodel ,what we wanted, checking the original wiring , offering suggestions and planning out what he needed to do. He suggested that we put a new circuit panel in the attic instead of running new wire from the second floor to the basement and across to the other side of the house. It would save us money. We knew right away we wanted to hire John, but we needed to wait for the estimate. He came back with a price that fit in our budget. John stayed in contact with our contractor and scheduled the work around him. He and his employee Jay, arrived promptly every day and worked hard to finish up each day to stay on schedule. His work is neat, tidy and clean. The new lights, switches and oulets look great in our new kitchen. My favorite has to be the LED lights under the cabinets! They are so pretty at night and give off plenty of light. I've put them on ever day since they've been installed. I can't say enough about Jolt Electric.They were both courteous, professional, respectful and hard-working. All questions were answered right away and John could be contacted by phone or e-mail. John helped make the remodel as stressless as possible. We have plenty of old wiring still left in the house. We will most definately be calling John to rewire the other rooms.

I was very pleased with the work they did and the professionalism of the workers. I will be rehiring them for future work.

We set up a time and date for an estimate for a large electrical project that we need completed in our home. Not only did the electrician not come on time, but he didn't show up at all!!!! There was no phone call either. I guess they don't want our money! --Update-- We received a phone call from them the following day apologizing. What an awkward call to make so we did appreciate the sincerity and effort and rescheduled. Regardless if we go with them, they were professional to have followed up like that. It seemed to be an honest mistake and not representative of the way they do business.

We have left two messages for this company. Last weekend or approx 9 days ago and again approx 4-5 days ago. They apparently do not need our business as we never got a call back. I thought people were complaining about the economy but apparently they must be too busy to return our phone calls.

John and Jay were prompt, courteous and professional. What I liked the best was their ability to keep me updated on their troubleshooting progress and carefully/patiently explain what was going on and how they were going to address the solution. Their pride in workmanship and people skills were outstanding. I highly recommend Jolt Electricm Inc and will deifnitely use them again. A++++++

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I am a first time home buyer and wanted an opinion from a professional electrician on some abnormalities noted during a home inspection. I sent an email late on a Friday evening. I received a phone call Saturday morning and electricians were on location by noon. They were very courteous and professional. It was easy to tell that they knew what they were talking about. Their level of knowledge of electrical systems was extremely evident and they took the time to explain things. They were thorough in their investigations and talked me through each test they performed and what the potential impacts could be and provided best solutions. Took the time out unprompted to make minor adjustments and repairs at no additional cost. I will definitely use their services again in the future. They even offered me tips on local attractions since I am new to the area. Great service!!

John and Jay arrived exactly at our appointment time. I was very impressed. They installed roof de-icing cables on two dormers and back gutters and downspouts. Their work was flawless in every regard. Jay then installed our new security lighting which worked perfectly at sundown. I would highly recommend John and JOLT to anyone requiring expert, professional electricians. We look forward to a continuing relationship with this company.

Electrician arrived right when he said he would. I called in the morning and the work was done that evening. He also explained what he was doing and why throughout the whole process of trouble shooting the problem and replacing the circuit breakers. Very professional and courteous, not to mention prompt. The replacements took longer than expected due to having to switch off the power from outside, and troubleshooting problems with the outside breaker, but he did a thorough job taking care of what needed to be done.

John is always responsive, arrives exactly when he says he will, explains issues and is an excellent electrician. He has worked on two projects for me and is about to work on a third. After my experiences with him, I would not use anyone else. David

John is really easy to work with. He's prompt and communicative, and does quality work. He made our garage wiring safe and easy to use, and eliminated cluttered wiring so it even looks much better. He's definitely our go-to guy for electrical work!

I asked John to come give me an estimate for a service upgrade. I had a 100A service with less than 20 breakers all of which were in use. John gave me an estimate on the spot for 150A and 200A service upgrades. He walked me through what he was going to do inside and out. He even warned me that a shrub was going to get trampled while he installed the new meter socket and service mast. On the day of the installation John arrived promptly at 7:30AM and worked through the day without wasting any time. He and his assistant were professional and courteous throughout the day. The power was restored exactly when John said it would be at 3:30PM. John made sure to schedule the electrical inspector before leaving for the day. The electrical inspection itself was a breeze: the inspector found no problems as was even impressed that the panel was labelled! John recommended to the inspector that the utility replace the service lines to my house based on what he saw while working. The inspector and utility agreed and promptly replaced the service lines a couple of weeks after John was here. This was a great experience from estimate to completion. John gave me his full attention on his first visit and gave the work his full attention while he was here. He is patient and willing to explain what he is going to do and I found his explanations to be quite good. One can usually get a good feeling for a tradesmen based on how well they are able to explain themselves: John explains things well and does great work!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! John came excatly when he said he would. In no time at all he figured out the "breaker that wouldn't stay on" problem. He was methodical, knew exactly what he was doing. A service call and a switch and i was in light again! Intend to call him for other electical projects and would highly recomend him for any electical issues and projects.

One day the power to our garage and more importantly our electric garage door stopped. We looked for a local electrician on Angie's List and found JOLT. They answered the phone themselves and offered to come right away. John diagnosed the problem and fixed it in short order. He was punctual, professional and pleasant and we would definitely call them again for any of our electric needs.

John and his apprentice came by soon after we contacted him about the work, and he emailed us an estimate that day. He came on time the day we had planned and he and his apprentice did a professional, clean job. He's very friendly, knowledgeable and I'm glad to see he's apprenticing someone to go into the trade. They were both very pleasant to work with. I hope to be able to have them do more projects for us in the future.

John helped me work through options and provided some great ideas. He did an absolutely brilliant job. He was on-time, on budget, and the most cost effective solution I could find. The workmanship was great, with no marks or smudges and good finish quality. Throughout the project, John provided me with lots of information to base my decisions on. Once a decision was made, he was flexible and very concious and had everything in its right place. The final price was very reasonable.

John and his assistant arrived at the appointed time. They began work right away. He and his assistant remained busy all day, even skipping lunch. They began at 7:300 AM and finished about 3:00 PM. During their work, I stopped John to ask some questions about additional work I may want performed in the future. I even questioned him about the details should we go forward with that work. John had wanted to get an early start to his work day stating he needed to insure that he could complete the work I had requested in a single day. My interuption did not seem to bother him one bit. He happily responded to each and every question..They cleaned up after themselves and acted with a high degree of professionalism.

It went very smooth. Jolt and I set a date for service, he called just before he arrived, showed up on time and peformed the work very quickly. It was an enjoyable experience and I look forward to my next project with Jolt.
