Description of Work: We have used Dan for several jobs: moving an outlet for washer and dryer, installation of 240 for installation of range and the installation of can lighting. Dan is always responsive to our calls. He and his crew treat our home with respect and leave it the way they found it. We are in the process of buying a new home and planning an addition. Dan will certainly be involved in our future plans.

Description of Work: No one ever got back to me after my initial call and explanation of what I wanted done. I was told I would be contacted in about three weeks and two men would come out to do the job. That was four months ago.

+ -1 moreDan was very professional in both the estimate and the installation. His crew was courteous and nice to my dog. The rough estimate Dan gave me on the phone was about $100 dollars less than the actual work cost, which is within range of what I expected. He did tell me that on subsequent jobs he takes into consideration that I would be a repeat customer, which is nice because our panel needs to be upgraded. Overall, he did quality work for a reasonable price.
Description of Work: Dan and his crew installed a new outlet for a dual fuel range (240 outlet). This required running a new line from the panel in the basement and installing the actual outlet in the kitchen. Dan also recommended a plumber to finish hooking up the gas connection for the range.

If I have a problem he responds immediately and if it is something small I am not charged. On this particular job he gave me good customer discount of $200. I would recommend Dan to anyone who needs an excellent, considerate, fair, and polite electrician

He installed a new baseboard heater, installed new electrical outlets a remodeled portion of our house and advised me on how to make the existing work safe. Everything that he did works. He was easygoing and friendly. we will be hirin him for all future projects.
Description of Work: Dan Barthel is the electrician behind Dan the electrician. He was punctual, reliable and safe. He found flaws in prior work and advised us on how to change it so that it was safe. We didnt have a huge project, but the fact that he found significant safety issues in our house and arranged for them to be fixed was a gift.
