Travers was very responsive. They provided an estimate right away. We agreed on price and they came out a week later to complete the project. They were very efficient and went above and beyond to ensure that the project was completed to my complete satisfaction. I would be happy to use them for future work and would give them my highest recomendation.
Description of Work: Removed existing concrete steps and backfilled and graded area. It looked great when they were done and they ensured all surrounding areas were not impacted. Great Job

After many frustrating attempts at getting a reasonable quote to remove (12) trees in my yard, I finally called the right number: Travers Landscaping. Mike Fraser called me within 5 minutes of my inquiry, promptly came to my house to evaluate the scope of work and provided me with a very fair quote. I hired him on the spot and he and his crew arrived on time and did a fantastic job in the removal and clean up. My neighbor hired him as well and I will not hesitate to call them first the next time I need work done in my yard!!

Great. Mike came by at 12:30 to look at the tree & he had his crew there at 2:00 and was finished by 4:00. I would hire him again and would recommend him to others as well. It was a tricky tree to bring down but his experience prevailed. Great price for quality work.
Description of Work: Needed a tree taken down & removed before the blizzard yesterday

When Mike from Travers Landscaping Construction & Engineering came out, he evaluated the entire situation to see exactly what the extent of the damage was and he readily had an entire crew that was available to come out to move through the job really quickly. It wasn't something that sat here for a long time. They offered to make the storm door that we pulled out bigger which was really nice because we weren't sure how to do it ourselves. They returned the door to the store that we purchased and go the right size for what we wanted. They were just so helpful in so many things and what they offered and what they did for us that we didn't expect that they would do. Travers Landscaping Construction & Engineering's price was comparable and with the quality, I think, they did a nice job and they were professional.
Description of Work: I used Travers Landscaping Construction & Engineering re-mediate by replacing all of the siding of the back of the house, pulling out and repairing all of the siding that had mold in it and made some repairs to our deck because of some hidden mold and rot in the back wall.

This was custom work, rebuilding and restoring 100 year old casement windows in an historic district. Mike and his team performed the job with outstanding craftsmanship and commitment to getting every detail right. The price he quoted was fair and competitive. Communication was excellent. The job was completed on schedule and withiin contract cost. I referred a friend to him for a similar project and she too was very pleased with his work. I didn't provide the cost of the services because it's not relevant to the review, and it's a violation of contractual confidentiality.
Description of Work: Historic rstoration of windows on national register property.

The wall went well but the rest was a nightmare. I still am growwing a tree for shade that he prommised would be saved. Its 5 years latter and I still don't hasve any shade. Do not trust this contractor.
Description of Work: This contractor cannot be trusted. He overstepped his contract, he lied to get the contract and then he destroyed my fence and trees that were promissed not to be dammaged. Liar Liar pants on fire. Be very careful with Mike

Response from Travers Landscape Construction
I had a potential client call me today, she informed me that she went on Angie's list inquiring about my company and said she saw a poor review, which took me as surprise. We researched it, normally if there is an issue with a client we do anything possible to fix the problem given that as a company since 1910 reputation is of the upmost importance. In my defense I do remember this client from 2009, she had found me also through a referral on the computer and had asked for us to come out and give her a quote on one area of landscape that turned into not $16,000.00 but several thousand of dollars. As soon as we finished one project she had another project lined up for us to go onto. We were working for her for up to six weeks. It came to the final days of the job and in an area of repairing and restoring original stone walls that the previous contractor had installed improperly when we came to an impasse due to the fact that she would want the job done one way and then a few hours later come out and want it another way. In customer service the customer is always right however in this instance the customer was wrong. The woman and I had a disagreement due to how she wanted the work completed, and as I can be a bit of a hot head, we exchanged some disparaging remarks. We both at the time apologized to each other and I thought that the disagreement was resolved, however, this was not the case. Her husband later came out and fired us, telling us to get off of the property. Interestingly enough he did pay the balance in full leading me to believe that he was satisfied with the work and I thought that was the end of it. After seeing this review with no name signed to the complaint I did my own research and found who the complainant was. Well let me tell you, my grandfather always told me if you have something to say or if you are going to write a letter to the editor sign your name. Don't stand behind the bushes that I planted and slam my good name out of spite. I write this letter only to protect my sons whom are now running the company who at the time all bared witness to this. For the people of the cape cod area that know Stetson they all know the quality of work that he does. Yours truly, Michael Travers Fraser
