+ -1 moreHe told me the problem was because the grade was moving away from the foundation. He didn't know if it had stopped and would need to run some more tests. He wasn't even here an hour, I never got a written report and had to pay $300! When I paid for the service, I assumed I would be paying the company (Bennett) but instead I was paying the independent consultant, I thought that was sort of strange. I had another guy come out, a builder, and he spent an hour with me and was able to give me a much more detailed explanation of what was happening. The second guy (the builder) didn't charge me to look at the issue, only charged me for repairs. From the reviews I read on AL, I was expecting someone from the company to come out but instead they sent out an independent consultant.
Description of Work: They came out to inspect an addition I had put on my house. The addition had sunk a couple of inches and I needed to know why and what to do.
